Updated Fursuit Pricing for 2014 (COMISSIONS OPEN!)
Posted 11 years agoSo you would like to know how much a suit would cost?
First, know that I work in a very different way than many fursuit makers. I tend to have an initial interview process after my client agrees with the initial quote, where we discuss what they want to be doing in suit, and what sorts of things they love about fursuits aesthetically. This helps me create a custom suit for the client that is in many ways designed by them.
Every fursuit is different, and therefor a set price on suits doesn't really work for me. All of my below prices are base prices, for the most simple of suits: Up to two colors with no complex stripes/spots/markings.
Heads: $750
Partial Fursuit: $1300- (this includes head, feet, hands, arm sleeves, and a tail)
Full Suit: $1800- (Head, hands, feet, arm sleeves (so you can partial), tail, and body)
Full Digitigrade Suit: $2000- (all the above, but with digitigrade style legs)
Things that will increase cost are addition of colors, spots/stripes, airbrushing, more realistic features like follow me or other eyes, different types of pawpads, rush orders, etc. These factors will be addressed in the quote form.
Please know that you need a reference sheet for an accurate quote.
FURSUIT PRICING QUOTE FORM
As far as business practices:
In order to start making a fursuit, I require a 30% Non-refundable deposit. This will be used for materials, and I will repeat, it is non-refundable.
Upon receipt of the deposit I will order materials, and begin building the smaller parts of the suit (ie the feet, hands, sleeves, tail). I will not start work on the head until 70% of the suit is paid for. Once the 70% of the original agreed on cost has been reached, I will be able to begin work on the head.
I will NOT deliver or ship the suit until I receive full payment. If I do not receive full payment within an agreed upon time I reserve the right to sell or scrap the suit. I will keep the deposit, but return any amount you paid me in addition to that.

Overhauling My FA
Posted 11 years agoHey guys!
I recently moved to Cali, so you havent seen much from me lately, but don't you worry, Ive made something like 6 suits that have yet to be posted on this page, and cant wait to share them with you! I've also cleared the majority of my schedule and will open up for a couple commissions that can be done throughout the summer (One slot for AC, one for RF). When I officially open, I'll let you know! Bear with me as I re-build my profile and everything! Thanks for your patience =3

New Year, New News!
Posted 13 years agoHello everyone!
THANK YOU to all the new watchers!! I really appreciate your interest in my work!
I am excited to announce my attempt to switch to making suits full time! I will be continuing my normal day job through May, and taking a side job starting this summer to help pay for the normal bills, but my goal will be to do 2-3 suits a month over the summer to see how things go at that pace. There have been a lot of people showing interest in my work, so I plan on keeping the quality up, and working directly with those who commission me to help bring their characters to life.
So again, thanks for watching, and if you're interested in a fursuit, check out the journal here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3160709/ and fill out a quote form!

Update!
Posted 13 years agoHello everyone!
It has been far too long since I updated this, but I feel it is about time! I have been busy with many changes in my life, and the time I can put in to making suits ebbs and flows. But it is a bit of a dream of mine to work more on suits than I currently do, although in order to do that I need to change my professional job a bit. Currently my hours are so odd that I have a hard time planning a week in advance, making it difficult to plan cons and other things fuzzy.
As far as fursuit work goes, I have 2 currently on my queue.
wanderpup has a fullsuit coming to him at FC
sassygayfox has a partial, Possibly full for him by FC as well.
I would like to open up for two more commissions that will be done by AC of 2013. I have a feeling those spots are going to close quickly as there are a few people who have expressed interest, but if you are curious yourself, read the information http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3160709/ and make sure to fill out the quote form!
Thanks for your time! Honestly, I love making fursuits because I love bringing another person's dream to life. That excitement I see in someone's eyes when they get a suit, and the fun they have while in it, totally make it all worth while. Thanks for brightening my life you guys =3
