Was an amazing trip and I already miss the people I got to meet, but I’m ready to kick my rear into high gear on writing.

update on recent things
Posted 3 years agoHey all, just felt like making a journal about a couple things.
One, work has been BUSY and I've finally hit that age wall where it really leaves me drained now. I've caught myself thinking about taking NAPS. (Though they are nice ngl lol)
Due to this, my writing has slowed significantly which has been a bummer, both on personal and the few commissions I've been trying to churn out.
The big one recently though which has consumed a lot of my spare time, is I will be competing at EVO this year in the side tourney for SoulCalibur 6.
Due to this I have been whipping my game into shape to not get absolutely bodied ( I have no delusions of winning mind you, but no one wants to go 0-2) Which I leave for Vegas next Wednesday and won't be back till the next Monday.
So wish me luck, safety and all that. And I promise to get back to writing when things slow down a bit.

Old landlord came back and well, Long story short, went to court. Had to pay him in 'damages.' That I sadly couldn't prove that I did or didnt do. I gave him what I have and went on my merry fucking way.
So I'm back down to square one. STILL need $1,011 by the 31st. My family cannot help so I have to do it myself. We have to get out of here. Because my mother is making it clear we are making her life difficult..
So I'm willing to do anything. ANYTHING. at this moment.
If it's something I normally wont do, Please do not post it. And keep me anon. I don't care at this point.
I'm offering Art slaves. 6 hours. $500 2 characters.
You and friends can pull together and get whatever you want. All come with 2 characters. Any after that is $45 extra. Though.
Comic pages (single color) Take 1 hour.

Update on the last few days

The purpose of this journal is to tell you all about my trip to Chicago this last weekend (Just got back from today and I am BUSHED)
As some of you know I play fighting games, mainly Soulcalibur 6 (Follow me on Twitch at https://www.twitch.tv/leanxtriforcer if you want to watch) (Shameless plug is shameless but I digress)
Anyway I just came back from Frosty Faustings, a major offline tournament that was canceled the last couple years for obvious reasons but was finally put back into action this year with mask requirements and COVID tests on sight which I tested negative for (Thank God) and was allowed to compete, meet fellow players and see some bigger names in the scene (I should've gotten pictures but I was too nervous to ask...which is weird but next time)
Anyway, the bracket for SC was about 55 people (Would've been 60 but last minute withdrawal's and DQ's knocked it down a bit) And it was my first time ever going to compete for such a thing and...
I took 9th place. I met a long time friend/training partner (Drove six and a half hours to his place then another three and a half to the venue. But it wasn't bad in all honesty)
Was really proud of myself and only lost too said training partner who ended up taking 5th over all. So it was a blast and I can't wait for next year, and will be setting my sights on top 8 for sure.
This was also eating into my writing time as I was training and getting better constantly (Sidebar but I wanted to let you know what I was doing)
Anyway, glad to be back and ready to write in earnest now. (I say that a lot but I have nothing in the foreseeable future so it's going to happen)

Posted 4 years agoI think Tuesdays are going to be my days off guys. That is my longest work day so it's hard to get things done before work and I want to unwind afterwards. So usually a stream is in order and writing may or may not happen.

Posted 4 years agoI ALMOST wrote everyday this week. Wednesday was my only day "off" just because of workouts and such, but every other day. BAM, got a lot of writing done and I love I've got going so far.

Posted 4 years agoSo how is everyone? I hope you all are doing well, I am still busy with work and whatnot but I have good news.
I am making myself write everyday this week (and hopefully onwards)
I have so many irons in the fire that NEED to be completed and I'll be honest, work was killing my desire to write.
I was also very focused on my Twitch for awhile which didn't help but I need this balance and I don't do much in the mornings/afternoons anyway. (also sleep schedule is a BITCH)
But I just wanted to give a heads up on what is coming down the pipe right now.
3 Goon pieces,
Karnator and myself have come up with some new ladies to Goon (plus another commission YEA) And I am very excited to see them come to life.
Sidebar: Snake Princess and the Goons is getting another facelift so I'll update those as I get them.
Fidget and Kaji is getting a story as a Trade between myself and Karnator Fidget is one of my weaknesses and I am more than happy to work with her.
Ryu, Fifi and Bimbette will be completed soon.
TLK with Sora is happening (That will be on my IB so follow me there so you don't miss it)
MLP is also getting kicked back into high gear.
So yeah, lots of fun things and I am GOING to get them done, you all have gone too long without stories (And you've told me about it) So it's happening!
