*EMERGENCY* Just what I needed...
Posted 11 years agoSo...our water heater broke. My boyfriend went to take a shower..it's ice cold. He's been downstairs trying to fix it...but it's completely dead. I've been boiling water and slowly filling up our tub so he can at least take a bath, but we can't do this all winter. The timing couldn't be worse beacuse we are also bringing someone in to fix our boiler this week since it's starting to get cold here (we had a carbon monoxide leak in the spring) which is going to cost us a large sum of money. Also, with my laptop recently breaking, and my boyfriend not getting in the hours that he usually gets, we can't afford a new water heater right away....it's just, again, REALLY bad timing. :/

Posted 11 years agoI had several requests to make a fullsuit suit up video. I have only worn her a few times since I had made her two years ago....I prefer to wear partial suits.
I forgot to mention, I had my hair in a braid. I usually wear a separate balaclava or bandana to keep my hair up and out of my face (notice the hair stick out of the head it the video XD)
Anyway, I was just winging it.

Post AC summery (better late than never)
Posted 11 years agoSo, this was my first AC (been in the fandom for almost nine years..finally attending, lol).
I have to say, it was pretty fun! It was a little overwhelming to me on the first night. The hotel/convention center was so big that I found myself getting lost many times on the way back to my room x___x Thankfully, after trail and error I got the hang of it!
DAY 0
My group stayed in one of the overflow hotels on the first night..that was rough on the feet, my blisters are still healing XD
and I got to suit around for a while until eventually heading back to our hotel. On our way back, we were flagged down by a very loud and enthusiastic woman who had her husband park in the street (blocking traffic) so that she could get a picture with us. As we stood there while her husband took MANY photos, she screamed (in my ear) with excitement..as if she were a four year old child at DisneyLand.. Finally after what seemed like decades of torture, the couple left us to our "WTF's" and bleeding ears. We then continued our journey back to our hotel.
DAY 1
Let me tell you, I am SO glad I pre registered for this convention. We arrived early, and I was able to get my badge in no time at all. I got to suit around in PeacePaw for a while before heading up to our room and changing into Jett for the Kilcodo Costumes photoshoot....unfortunately, they decided to change the location of the photoshoot at the last second, so I sadly missed it, but I did manage to meet several other Kilcodo suiters and get pictures with them. You guys are great!<3
Later, my group and I went for sushi and drinks ;D I also went to the dealers den and spent lots of money on Sailor Moon items.......worth it.___.
DAY 2
Walked around the dealers den for a while...bought more Sailor Moon stuff..and then banned myself from that particular stand because I was spending WAY too much XD
GOT MOAR SUSHI D:
Went back to our room and had a few visitors.
and 
stopped by for a bit and enjoyed a few white gummy bears (my awesome alcoholic beverage) with us.
Night came...we drank more XD, and I got in our suits and went to the rave. We got down to the ballroom and played with a balloon with a large group of people/fursuiters for a while. Afterwords, we went into the danceroom.
I met a cute bunch of people and danced with them in suit for a while. After a short while, I went back to my room to shower and make myself beautiful before returning to the rave XD <3
I wont go into detail (the night is a bit of a blur), but by far the most fun I've had at a con in several years. I know I didnt get to bed until almost 5am.........and that my friends is how you party XD
DAY 3
I slept until almost noon, haha....hangover.
After getting up and packing my things, I got cleaned up and met with
and 
(forgive me if I forgot anyone), for a nice lunch before leaving. You guys are great! I hope we can hang out again
What a wonderful end to my first AC. I definitely made some great memories that I will always cherish.
Yes..I'm going to end the story here, because the car ride home FUCKING SUCKED!! XD
It's a good thing I had good company with me or I probably would have ran people over >__>
In conclusion, AC was pretty damn good. Hopefully, I will be there again next year!

On a side note, it seems I need to bring this up.
When filling out a form, please only fill out what applies to you. For example, if you're filling out a quote for a pair of feet paws, check and complete only what would apply to feet paws (if you want claws, etc) Please do not fill out what type of eyes your current fursuit head has...that is not applicable to what you're trying to commission, and it just makes things confusing...I mean unless you're wanting eyes on your feet paws XD
Just throwing that out there. Not trying to embarrass/ call anyone out, but I've received several quote forms like this and I thought I should clear that up.

Posted 11 years agoI decided to take the previous journal down. I was only curious if anyone knew anything about the guy wearing the suit, and what his intentions were.. I didnt want to start any problems.
Anyway, if you're attending anthrocon, just ignore this person and have a great time
