I've rolled this idea around for quite some time now and finally decided to go ahead and suggest it here- So, artists have things like TMI Tuesday as a character development/get to know the artist exercise and my idea is a a sort of fashion design exercise. I'll call it 'Mandersday and it'll be for Thursdays if anyone's interested. The premise is having any character and any outfit marked with patterned spots to play up their features, not spots everywhere mind you, a good example might be a striped pattern of spots circling diagonally around their torso or say a diamond shaped block of spots along their upper back. Of course these are just generic examples and I wholeheartedly encourage any artists who try this to come up with patterns that suit whatever character they draw as best they can imagine them. I am currently visiting family and I don't plan on using their internet any more than needed, so I'm just posting this quick update- The power has been out at my apartment complex since sometime in the afternoon of the 6th and my energy company predicts that they will have the issue resolved by 12am on the 9th. I find myself wondering about this whole streaming thing, and the first thing that needs to be figured out I suppose would be the necessary memory to use a webcam. I use an emachines S3649 computer with the following specs:

AMD sempron LE-1250

Nvidia GeForce 6100

160GB hard drive

1GB DDR2 dual channel memory

If I recall correctly I had asked on a stream once if this met the requirement of 1GB RAM that all webcams I've seen need at bare minimum and getting no as an answer. Along with this I'm sure there are plenty of other memory requirements for running livestream and for(ideally) recording my streams so that I could wtach them later or others who have conflicting schedules could see them at their leisure.

I'll be visiting family in MD from Sunday until nearly the end of the week, thus I'll be inactive online. I might have a minute to check in at the start of the day but I won't be doing much then. Have an enjoyable week everybody ^u^/

1. The vehicle I drive is the first one I got and I've kept it running since sometime between 2000 and 2001

2. Aside from pens(obvious) I've also collected a great number of mechanical pencils and markers from back when I thought they would become primary art tools for me.

3. The N64 that I play is only the second one I've ever had, and I've had the original controller from the first so long that I've ruined the D-pad twice ^o^;

4. I don't give much thought to the level of response(or lack thereof) that I get on my art but it's actually very bothersome to me that I almost never get a written reply on the music I post links to.

Just a couple hours ago I thoughtlessly let a malware application download onto my computer, thought it was a java update. Next I know it's telling me I've been infected with spyware and to 'activate protection'- No, I didn't go there, and my webroot spyware and antivirus wasn't picking up on the problem. So I thought whatev', try the control panel and remove anything suspicious.. Next I restarted and this malware thing wouldn't let any internet applications run, saying they were infected- It even said that about any windows or controls I tried pulling up on my computer's own list T.T Eventually I tried quickly opening and activating system restore while the computer was still loading up windows and that reversed it, but during the time leading up to this, my goodness how distraught I was >.>; "Does it need to go to a computer repair place and get dealt with by a professional?" "Will I need a new computer?" All kinds of candyass worries went through my mind and over what- Internet access and some web socializing? Guh, after all the growing up and adapting I've done, this is shameful. Anyways watch out on fakku.net, and if you've got any interesting stories like this feel free to share them.

Starting tomorrow, and for five days after that, I will be posting a six image series of considerably hard porn images that I was inspired to do by the flexible design of Sonicboom53's character Sophie. The character is in the general vicinity of 'Sonic' characters and I experimented a lot with different body types in the image series. To be quite blunt- *IF YOU MIGHT GET OFFENDED, LOOK AWAY* and also, please understand that this is rare and will not become a constant uploading habit. That is to say, porn fans enjoy it while it's here but don't get irritable when I get back the usual non-adult stuff. Thanks to all who have read this, and good day.

Lately I've found that I've been vastly less inspired to draw, and the more I think about it seems as though this is directly related to me using a new pen that I find less comfortable than the one before it. Has anyone else experienced this with their art materials? Perhaps a different hardness of graphite, or a different ink- perhaps even a change of stylus or tablet? Does anyone know of a good way to explain the approach to wacky cartoonish expressions(both Western and Eastern methods would be useful)? I have had some decent luck doing mildly cartoony expressions but I've really been longing to pull off some of the wildly outlandish ones. I'd like to ask my fellow artists two questions about the following idea- Good idea or bad idea? And which of the two names sounds better? Here goes; The idea is to have the artist have a -secondary- Character describe what they represent of the artist, with use of visual aid. The reason I say secondary is that a direct representation of yourself really doesn't need much explaining. The two names I thought up were as follows; 'Know what I meme?' and 'Memeself and I'. Thoughts/comments/suggestions for improvement?

On this May 20th, the first official 'Draw Muhammad day', what purpose does it really serve? Upon a little more reading online I find(though I don't know about the authenticity) that it is reported that the one who officially started it according to the article has decided not to participate(isn't that kind of silly?), and also that according to another reference through cartoon there are already historic drawings of him in older Muslim religious art. Now of course when I first heard about South Park actually getting censored for it I was all wtf?! Like any other fan of the series, but after that I started thinking into it more. People talk of attacks on freedom of speech because of the threats, but this one will only be another in a long line that we've already allowed through our entertainment media. It also seems like kind of a needless act; Of course you can do such a thing just to say you can, but so what? I apologize to any fellow artists who might have thought I'd participate, but I just don't see how it helps now that I really think about it.
