That movie was terrible.

Mediocre, slow paced, boring garbage. Story had way too much going on and none of it was well thought out. Kept watching it thinking it was going to get better, NOPE just got worse with every second. Last time I take movie recommendations from TUMBLR

Oh.....my god.

I just spent the last 4 months without my computer. Longest 4 months ever, but soo much has happened.
I guess I fried my motherboard while switching computer cases. Im not sure if thats exactly what happened because my computer had been acting strange weeks leading up to my motherboard crapping out. Either I fried it then or it just decided to break right before I switched cases.

Either way I now have a new motherboard with an i7 processor to go with it :D (fast computer make grimgram happy)


I finished my first short film for school. I shot it with an actual 16mm film camera:

That film cost me $300 believe it or not. Its the only reason I didnt fix my computer sooner. I wanna thank  zawmg and  wigglestheotter for staring as the runner and toast. Without them, my film wouldnt have been as awesome as it is.


Now that I got my computer up and running I've just been scrambling to pick up where I left off a few months ago. I had a few things going on that I havent really talked about here. I hope to get one project Ive been working on out to you guys by January. Hopefully I can stay focused long enough to do that x(

So school is going well so far, I've got A's in my classes, they're not too hard but I do have to work a little harder with my logics class. Reading the textbook is so bleh but i am learning.

Swimming hasn't been easy. I didn't realize how long I was out of shape. I've had to relearn breaststroke and freestyle and my two best strokes, butterfly and back, have suffered as well. My core muscles(abs, pectorals, anything but the arms and legs) are not as strong as they were a year ago, partly from working in an office for about a year and from not doing basic exercises. So I've been struggling to keep up with my team mates during practices. I can do the full workouts, but I'm just slower and we only have half of the pool so there are 2-5 people sharing a lane with you at once so it can be difficult to do exercises. Whenever I'm going slower than everyone else I see the coach looking at me, I feel pathetic, like I know I can do better but I just can't get my body to cooperate. But I haven't given up yet.

I've started doing core workouts at home to build myself backup to were I was, and even better than that. It requires more energy but if it means I'll make the team then I'll do it. I knew it was going to be tough but I'm surprised at how much I'm struggling.

So I finally got all my classes for this semester:
Philosophy online course
Sociology
and off season swimming.

My Sociology professor is really cool. When he entered the classroom this morning he warned everyone that his class would be different from a normal class and that he was a non traditional teacher. He's very out there. He has a coffee/tea maker for us to use and he has a pet plant that he says "brings life to a dull/prisonlike/insane asylum like classroom". FUN!!!

I also jumped into the pool today, since like forever ago. EVERYTHING HURTS!!! O GOD, all the muscles I haven't used are screaming at me. My heads pulsing, and I cut myself on the jagged end of the pool divider.


AND I loved every minute of it.

So I got a call back from a job agency.
Got offered a part time job at a toys r us warehouse.

Hopefully it won't get in the way of school. So far I got school Monday-thursday
So hopefully I can get hours for the rest of the week. I'm nervous that they're going to give me hours during my classes.

But I'm happy that I actually got called back. If I can money this work I've got gas money for school xD

Also, fuckig working for toys r us? Fuck yeah. I always wanted to do that. Damn, why couldn't they offer me a retail position. All well. Beggars cant be choosers I guess.

So I decided to check on my class registration for Fall.

I went to Mt.Sac in Pamona for a year before taking a year off for work. I instantly regret it. Because i missed a few semesters my application didnt go through automatically like it usually does(that or the system changed). So I spent the night apply to the college again, which is no big deal. I just applied as a returning student. What bugs me about the situation is that they already gave me an early registration date so i have a jump on the rest of the students applying. But since i dont have an active application i cant register any classes.

All the classes i need are open and I cant register. I want to slam my head up against a wall.

It's like torture. But I just need to patient I guess. I can probably call the college and get things sorted out but that'll have to wait till tomorrow.

Good news is, I've been able to do some filming lately. I've been practicing some editing techniques and I finished a script for a short skit that I plan to film tomorrow. When it's done you can check it out at my other account
I also got a job filming a promotional video for my moms church on monday so that will be fun(i hope).

So there are a number of games that i want to buy off steam, especially now that the summer sale is here.


I kinda want to buy games that I can play with friends. I already have:
TF2
CounterStrike(source and 1.6)
garry's mod
and pretty much every half life game

I was thinking of buying portal 2 so i can say i "bought" it but I'd Rather buy Beat Hazard. It's such a fun game on my phone I'd probably have fun with it on pc.

Anyone have any games they play that i should try?

Really, great action, great story, great acting, great cinematography, great everything.

Andrew Garfield does a great job portraying the awkwardness of Peter Parker.
The only issue i had, which is minor, was some of the CGI. There were situations in the movie where they didn't need to use it or when they did it didn't look right. But that's just me being picky.


I wouldn't recommend 3D though. I mean if you want to pay near $20 for one person.
