Honestly, surfing on FA, e621, bluesky, and so on, I see more and more artists blatantly tracing AI and just changing a few details to make it look as if it is their own work.
"But you don't have proofs!!11! You can't know it for sure 11!1!! You have to make sure before you ruin someone's careereeee!11!"
It's so BLATANT... It's so blatant they don't even bother changing the base AI expressions and pose that make it VERY obvious.
I don't understand how people just don't notice it, even running these pictures via multiple AI detectors, it still does the trick, and the result is always obvious: "This art is 99% made with AI" /[/b ]"this art is PARTIALLY made with AI"(AI-assisted? Still as bad).
Mothdusky's drama teaches you that you will never know whether an artist is using AI, especially if it is an experienced one who can change details and such to make it look more "natural". but some just don't give a damn and go full on tracing.
These people gain an atrociously unfair advantage over artists who give their 100% without any shortcuts, and so far, I've seen artists who charge nowadays over $500-900 using AI for assistance.

More and more artists starting to use AI to "help" their art

How do you commission some artists?
General | Posted 2 months agoThis is a genuine question because they never open for commissions and yet they have a queue and regular new customers...
If you try contact them "They aren't open" yet there is no way to tell when they are open or close for commissions, they don't post (google) forms or anything similar.
God bless artists that go around every platform saying "OPEN FOR COMMISSIONS" and spamming it at different times so also non-AMERICANS have a possibility to commission them.
Also for artists accepting commissions only via patreon: You are scam artists. I have to pay you to have a CHANCE (maybe) to commission you, good work buddy.

But someone who has 18k followers on Bluesky and around 30k on Shitter/ X seems like just brain-dead to follow when he's blatantly making AI-assisted drawings.
Same with a dude around here that just keeps posting slightly modified AI posts, and people still commission them. THERE ARE WAY TOO MANY AI BROS.

How are these videogames considered masterpieces?
General | Posted 3 months agoI'm so tired of hearing about these games just because they're called a "masterpiece," when they all follow the same formula.
Souls-like games, Undertale/Deltarune, Silksong, and so on, they all stick to the same structure.
You roam through a world where you easily defeat simple mobs (or sometimes you can just ignore them entirely), giving a false sense of fulfillment. Then you reach the boss that you will never beat on the first try, because they always have some cheap move set, a second phase, or some other gimmicks.
And when you do beat a boss on the first attempt, it’s usually because you either had plenty of resources to start with, you got lucky, or the boss was simply easier than a previous one.
The only thing you actually learn from these fights is the boss’s moveset and how to counter it. There isn’t much real skill involved; you just die, memorize a move, die again to learn the next one, and repeat over and over. On top of that, the stories are usually childish, stale, or copied straight from other games and movies.
"B-but, take a look at <Insert Nickname here>! He’s a player who can beat the whole game without ever being hit!"
Yeah, someone who spent 20 hours a day playing the same game for the past year/s.
I can’t even force myself to play these games; I just watch a playthrough and see it’s always the same thing with slightly different details. It honestly just makes me turn my nose up.
Can someone enlighten me on how these games are actually considered good?

Why are people afraid to be the unhinged-cringe-lewd community we are supposed to be?
Honestly, one of the big reasons I stopped doing arts, I want to see if my drawings made you horny, and especially WHY it did.

Had to report manually all the arts, some of them were 100% flagged as AI and removed as to FA guidelines.
Others gave "mixed results" since the arts are actually just AI assisted/ drawn over and so on so they weren't removed.
Please don't fall for that and don't commission AI artists, they are making a living out of being lazy.
