been a while!
Posted 9 years agoYeah I don't really have much of an explanation for my absence beyond that sometimes I just like to disappear for a while and then come back some months later.
I've been primarily active on TH and otherwise just keeping to myself.
But I'm gonna try to be more active on other websites again!
So firstly a couple points;
-I should have gotten back to everything important, but if for some reason you commented or noted me and didn't get a reply and needed one pls comment/note again. Honestly, I had so much backed up that a lot of stuff got nuked and I might have overlooked something.
-I have no idea when I'll open commissions again. I do plan to open them again at some point, but as of right now they are not open and probs won't be open for a good little while. This year kinda ended up being a big break for me and I've been focusing a lot on adoptables instead (hence being primarily on th)
All that said, thank you for all the kind comments and to those who were worried about me! I've been fine just.. not around. It happens sometimes, and it'll probably happen again someday in the future. Sometimes I just feel like takin' breaks, y'know? Unfortunately they can tend to be unannounced.. o<-<

Um, yes. Con was alright. Not the best con, but nothing bad happened either. Just a p solid 'Decent' score -- not much to tell. (except for the one night where one of our buddies sneakily got on another buddy's computer, letting the poor guy go on a rant about his horrible boss and then body image while being completely oblivous to a google image search page just full of naked butts behind him while we all giggled helplessly for like 20 minutes-- that was p damn funny, like most hilarious moment of 2k16 and possibly also 2k15)
I got back home on the 28th but was so exchaused I just went to bed at like noon and didn't wake up again until 7am the next day FFFFF
So decided I wanted to take yesterday off and just laze about.... ye... But here I am, back on track.
Ah, let's see, order of business -- I definitely need to make some money now, so expect some adopts up either tonight but most likely tomorrow.
Thinking of doing some (five??) off-base minis, flat slate probably at 150 again -- which will be posted on my TH first. Any left over will then be auctioned here/on dA in a day or two after they've been posted to TH. (So p much keep an eye out on there first if you're interested at all okay)
Otherwise... it's now catch-up time w/ my to-do list. So anyone who's waiting on me to do my half of anything, you shouldn't be waiting too much longer. Thank you for your patience w/ me, as always!

Two week semi-hiatus!
Posted 9 years agoI just plan to be super super busy for the next week and a half or so. And for the dates of the 23rd thru the 28th I will be completely out of town and not responding to stuff on FA, dA, or TH at all (whoo, Sakuracon!).
I'll still be around and checking in otherwise, but I just.. won't be around a lot. And probably slow. Anything that requires an in depth reply or time will most likely be held off until I have time to do it.
Probably the 29th (or maybe 28th if I'm not too tired) I'll be able to properly catch up and be back to my regular f5ing everything way too frequently schedule. FFF
It's also likely I will be posting some sort of adopts before this month is fully out, somewhere between the 29th and 31st. Commissions will be offered again sometime in April.

To ppl who have bought MYOs & still need payment confirmed
Posted 9 years agoThis only applies to those who have sent payment, and were given the message about paypal being slow to load transactions. If you were told your payment was received, you don't need to worry or read this.
BUT YEAH, to those waiting to get 100% confirmation still -- I want to apologize, paypal is still not listing transactions that I received yesterday. I have definitely received money, though, so I'm like 95% sure everyone who sent payment had it go through w/o any problem. But I want to apologize for the wait none-the-less. None of you have to worry about the 48 hour deadline thing -- if there is any sort of problem or payment not going through properly that shows up when transactions are finally listed, I will contact you and give you an additional 48 hours to resolve the problem.
I just want to apologize about the wait. If you have sent money and are waiting on this, you are free to start working on your MYOs now if you'd like -- I just won't be able to 100% approve it until I can see and go through my payment transactions to double check there weren't any problems. Okay friends, this is gonna be (fingers crossed) my last MYO opening for a good long while. Because of this, I will be opening for a full hour instead of by a certain number of slots.

MAKE-YOUR-OWN BLAKRYE or SPHAERRA
RULES and INFORMATION
-$40 base price
-One slot per person
-You may NOT purchase a MYO if you still have an unfinished MYO slot.
-I will leave the MYO event open for one hour (until 5:45 pm pacific), or until I get at least 10 slots filled.
-Payment is upfront, within 48 hours after time of slot confirmation, NO refunds -- please make sure to buy one only if you are certain
-MYOs and MYO slots may be resold for no more than paid for.
-MYO slots may NOT be traded. Unfortunately someone took advantage of my kindness previously in a really uncool way, so I am now taking away this privilege. You may only trade after the MYO is completed and approved.
-No base will be provided by me for this event, but feel free to use other bases or get others to help you if you cannot draw it yourself.
-Please try to complete your MYOs in a reasonable time frame (ideally within a month to two months).
-Finished MYOs MUST be run by me to 100% confirm and okay the design

(Please do NOT note forms; it's so much easier for me to double check forms in the approval process when they're comments than to dig months back into my notes. @_@)
You have 48 hours to fill out the form and send payment after I have confirmed your slot--failure to do so will result in the loss of your slot NO EXCEPTIONS. You may, however, upgrade your MYO with rare traits and pay for those rare traits at anytime. (So if, for example, you buy a regular blakrye w/o any special traits, and three weeks later decide you want a pygmy, you can contact me and pay the $5 to upgrade.)
You may also switch your traits at any time up until I okay your MYO and add it to the approved MYO stash. This means, if for example you bought a blakrye myo and put on your form that you wanted fluff, but decide you want droop instead, you are free to switch.
Once your MYO has been approved and added to the Stash, you may no longer make trait edits. Minor design edits will be allowed post-approval, but designs must remain recognizable to what you approved. Please make sure you are 100% satisfied with your design before okaying it with me.

Feb/March gameplan (slow on commission front)
Posted 9 years agoOriginally, I had some plans for this month (cute vday themed commissions) --but adopts have been going very well for me, and I have a convention at the end of march and like three cosplays I wanna have made before then FFFFF So I suspect I'm going to be very busy for the next month and a half.
Because of this, I think I may actually be taking a break from commissions until after con.
I MEAN, there is a chance I might take stuff on -- or I may end up taking stuff on like a week or so before con with plans to finish them after, we'll just have to see.
I do still want to do the painting theme I planned for vday for a while (just cuz it's super cute and isn't necessary vday-specific), but there is a good chance I will be opening for a lot of different options after my con, as well. I've finally got a bit of breathing room financially (thank friggin heckers) and really want to take advantage of this!
bUT GAME PLAN as of now, between now and end of march is as follows:
-Double MYO batch opening (24 slots) -- will be either end of this month, or early to mid next month. 12 spots will be opened here, 12 on TH. january openings gameplan / update / new years
Posted 10 years agoFirst, to cut to the chase, commission/adopt/myo plans for this month:
-Sometimes this next week, open another batch of new customer only snow comms + sketches on dA -- possibly by wednesday?? maybe
-next sunday (10th) open another custom adopt auction; same rules/prices as last time
-One final snow comm opening, prob split 4 here, 4 on dA, poosssibbly around the weekend of 16/17th?? -- open for anyone
-If I open for a third batch this month, i'll be moving on to a V-day theme : ))
-sometime during the last full week of january I will open another 12 MYO spots; again you may not get another MYO spot if you haven't finished your existing MYO

In my spare time, I've been gaming a lot lately.... I replayed FF7 (cuz ff7r hype weeps) and DoC (which holy shit I did not realize that game sucked so badly FFFF), got a hold of the FFXV demo which is super pretty and super excited for that, and have started finally playing P4. Slowly.. catching up on games FFFF
And now NeW yEARS!!
Man Tbh, I am soooo glad 2015 is over. It's been a weird and kinda icky year.
There was a lot of left-over bad feels from 2014 to start, and then i was forced to move unexpectedly and our cat got very sick and had to be put down /sigh
But on the plus side, it was my first year selling art at a con, and the new house I live in now is 8403804320 times better than the apartment I was in before. This is also the first full year I've supported myself on nothing but art. :)) Go me!
I managed to keep my resolution from last year, too, which is nice! -- To keep my butt and nose out of any form of drama FFF granted it resulted in me being kinda distant, but at least I've managed it. Laughs, well besides the two times ppl assumed I was talking about them when I wasn't even involved in w/e was going on but WhATever, not my problem
Definitely keeping that resolution going tho. Eff getting involved in that noise ever again FFFfff

I think it's gonna be a two-parter;
1) say 'like' at least half as much as I do now --that habit has really gotten out of hand FFF

-You may NOT purchase a MYO if you still have an unfinished MYO slot from July.
-Payment is upfront, within 48 hours after time of slot confirmation, NO refunds -- please make sure to buy one only if you are certain
-MYOs and MYO slots may be resold for no more than paid for.
-MYO slots may NOT be traded. Unfortunately someone took advantage of my kindness last time in a really uncool way, so I am now taking away this privilege. You may only trade after the MYO is completed and approved.
-No base will be provided by me for this event, but feel free to use other bases or get others to help you if you cannot draw it yourself.
-Please try to complete your MYOs in a reasonable time frame (ideally within a month to two months).
-Finished MYOs MUST be run by me to 100% confirm and okay the design

Posted 10 years agoI definitely wanted to open commissions again before the end of this week but that's not happening -- I'd say expect tuesday or wednesday? Maaaayybe thursday.
For the next two openings, I will only be opening for people who haven't commissioned me before tho. Lately I've gotten a lot of new people inquiring about commissions and if they could reserve slots or be on a waiting list (which I don't do), so this will hopefully be a happy compromise to allow some newcomers a chance to swing in and catch some of my art.
MMMM I do want to do an auction for something more detailed at some point hopefully this month, but no promises. If I do, it'll be open to everyone.
In the meantime before comms open, I will be putting up a blakrye I've had sitting around for a while to auction. I originally made it for trading fodder purposes a while back bUUUT since I can't afford trades and thus taking a break from them for a couple months, might as well use it for money _(:3/L)_
Expect that to go up probably tonight? Possibly early tomorrow.
(So yeah, again, I am not taking any sort of trades for the next few months -- so please don't tempt me with your digital children. I'll be back to accepting trades again after taxes /wheeze)
AND THEN ALSO, MYOs. I'm going to open 12 spots next weekend, which can be either blakryes or sphaerras. If you have an unfinished MYO, you will NOT be able to purchase another one when I open (so fair warning heads up). They will follow the same price and model as my previous opening.
And lastly, my recent custom adopt auction was really successful and I'm super super happy about that! /cry

This time I'll be opening 6 "Snow" themed speedpaint portraits and 3 sketches!
Only one drawing per slot.
Only one slot of each kind per customer for the first 24 hours, if slots are still open after that feel free to grab up as many as you'd like. So to start you may buy one each of a speedpaint and sketch, if slots are open for them! : ))

Payment MUST be sent within 48 hours of confirming your slot.
Edits will only be provided if I have made a mistake on your character, otherwise these come as-is. I do this because I prefer completing commissions in one sitting without stopping. Please buy at your own risk, and please make sure to provide full and accurate information.
To gain a slot, please just comment to claim! I will reply confirmations.
I will be aiming to complete these within a week, but please allow up to two.
