PS. A small update? I know I'm not very active here, but I live. I just haven't really had much to post here recently;;;
Should be posting some stuffs again within the next couple of weeks, as well as offering themed portraits again at some point soon. Keep an eye out!

Well, as back as I ever will be to this site.
I'll be uploading commissions that I've taken on and have yet to post here.

I have a convention coming up next month, and a lot of cosplay and prep work to do... which means ahh I need some money to make sure I can properly afford it all @3@

After much consideration over the recent happenings on FurAffinity, I have decided a slow transition/possible leaving is probably for the best. This isn't going to happen immediately, as income is honestly my biggest necessary standing point, but I am going to be working on building liveable income off site. Once I can properly make that transition to survive without FA's business, I will be leaving.

That being said, as of henceforth, I will no longer be offering flat rate commissions through FA. From now on, I will only be offering various auctions for my art services.

If you would like to try and commission me in the future, you will have to do so through my openings on either Weasyl or devaintART. (I may be looking into other locations for business, too, including tumblr)

Any adoptables I post will be left-overs not sold elsewhere.

Please understand that this is a personal decision on my half. I do not feel comfortable here any more, and do not want to offer any more of my services than I feel necessary. Understand that I am in no way trying to pressure others to leave FA, as that is their own choice to make. But this is mine.

BLAKRYE EXAMPLE

Blakryes are a race of lightning aligned creatures who specialize in rune magics. While all are skilled in the manipulation of black lightning, individuals usually only practice one or two different elements besides. Blakryes are very passionate creatures. They have an inherent curisoity about the world and love to learn and see new things. These creatures love contact and closeness and are very cuddly. For this reason, Blakryes are very popular as pets or pleasure slaves within certain social circles (if you can tame one). As their tails are made of lightning, they can be a bit abrasive and shock anyone who tries to touch it/them. Their tails only hurt those they wish it to, though; if allowed, touching a Blakrye's tail would be much like touching something that gives a pleasant tingle.

Notable physical traits:
//All Blakryes have tails made from black lightning. While the currents displayed are devoid of color, Blakyres' tails have a unique property of projecting color auras. Notably, the projected colors are the same as thier brightest markings and skin/innards coloring (such as inside the mouth, nipples, etc)

//Blakryes have paw pads on both their feet and hands.

Blakrye Adoption TOS

By adopting a Blakrye, you are agreeing to the following conditions:
1. You may repost your adoptable to your account, but source must be included.
2. You may make small changes, including small color shifts, marking, hair, name, gender changes, etc--but please don't make drastic design alterations.
3. You may resell this adopt, but may not ask for more than paid unless including extra art. You may trade/give on your adopt freely.
4. It is not required to source me more than once for the design. It is appreciated, though, if you note the species, Blakrye, belongs to me. Again, not necessarily required, though.

Blakryes are NOT an open adoptable. You may NOT create your own. Please do not hassle the buyers for the designs, either.

You do not have to follow any of the Blakrye canon when purchasing one. It is simply there for something to work with/build from for those who are interested. :)

My tools of choice MOSTLY include the ol water, brush, and water tools. If you do not have ol water (IAMSORRY) then you can use the brush tool or the marker tool instead. They don't blend as well, but will probably work alright.
At some point I'll save all my settings but you can find a couple of them over on the front of my dA page (username Jotaku )

Blendmodes--especially overlay (and/or multply/shade) are my best friends.
Textured brushes are also my best friend. (Specifically rough_flat, uneven_SR, and the second cross shape option)

So I did do the 24 hour comic thing, I DID actually manage all 24 pages. Though only as a refined sketch aahhhh
I will probably post them tomorrow throughout the day to my scraps (as sketch, plus no furry soooooo yeeeeh.)
I would like to, at some point, actually finish it by painting the thing and probably using it as just a test run for how I want LatchKeys to actually go.
But hey go me!

It was honestly the toughest art project I have ever taken on. My hand... oh my poor hand after those 24 hours;;;
I also slept for, like. 17. 14 straight, then after being up for 3-4 hours, another 3 of rest to top it off XD;;;;

Alas, because I slept longer than I had honestly anticipated, I have sent out several phone coms but will not be posting them tonight.

I would like to have all things and loose ends finished up by Sunday.

Also, I will be setting up a final winter-themed thing for the 24th or 25th, as I have those days off and no family to visit. u Ou;
