In regard to FA being down... Hummm. I was watchcing the forums through the experience and have walked away feeling very dissatisfied with this place and it's staff. I won't really spend time ranting about it as honestly the same thing was said a million times over and over on the forums and I'm sure everyone gets it by now. Idk, though, it all feels very oppressive and mysterious at the same time and doesn't all feel right. I'll be keeping an eye out for a new art home. U_U;

Frozen hell.

It snowed--like 6 inches or some--the other day. Been in the negatives during the night and early mornings. While I love that Jack decided to visit, gooooood do I need snow boots. I am tired of my toes freezing so badly they hurt nearly enough to make me cry. My toes ached for HOURS today because I had to stand out in the cold for a bus for like 45 minutes.
I've always loved snow. 8(
But right now.
I GOSH I hate it

Anyway, despite the bad roads, people not being able to get into work, and all that comes with copious amounts of snow--we've still been open at my work (issa pizza place). And also it's been ridiculously busy.

LIKE TODAY I was expecting to be home by like 3. I didn't get home until 6. And so freakin' exhausted from my day I sat down on the couch and nearly passed out @_@;;
It's been messing with my art workload a bit SIGH

I still have some things to finish that I was hoping to have way more time to work on today and finish up : /

Jfc I hate my work right now
There was some stupid drama going around that's left me 100% done with it. Now whenever I work with the stupid poopie head employee that caused all the trouble it's like an instant bad work day. I get irritated by everything she says and just ughhhhhhhhh

Anyway I've asked the owner to schedule me less hours because I want to pull back a little and focus more on art. I want to make a tentative step toward doing that more so for a living than my current job.

Only to look at the schedule next week and seeing I'm getting MORE hours than usual and working 3 ten hour shifts (versus one or two) and just ugggghhhh give em to someone else I know they're hot commodities and I'm a good worker but noooo

Which blah blah I should be thankful I have a job whatever. It's just frustrating when I'm an inch away from wanting to quit as it is and getting shoveled over with even more instead of getting some space.

Took some time today and tried to work out an ideal timeline for what I have left on my list
The optimal goal is to have it all done in about a week and a half to two weeks. This excludes phone coms but I should have at least half of the remaining done in this time too.

I am so angry at my body right now. So fucking angry.

I overworked it, I think, and got some sort of twinge.. like a pinch or something in my inner elbow. And after a few more days of work it's gotten worse, to if I hold my arm a certain way it twinges. To where if I try to draw. It fucking twinges. I am literally 100% done with everything right now.

I can't even put it into words. Just. /aggressive sighing

I've taken ibuprofen and I'm hoping it'll make it go away enough to draw a little but as is, I know if I DO spend all day drawing (like planned) it'll only make the thing worse. /rests forehead in hand
I have no idea how long it'll take for my arm to heal and this thing to go away. I do know I work a full 10 hour shift tomorrow though. That if I don't take advantage and rest it as much as possible it'll hurt all day tomorrow and who knows how much worse it'll be the next. How fucked up my arm might end up if I don't give this thing a chance to go away.

I could literally cry with frustration right now.

Tentative... yes? Preferred no, though. Prices will probably change, I may decide to discontinue something you want, and I often forget to do things (like contact people back).

Okay so the 'slow' period has lasted longer than expected.
But that more has to do with the drama poopstorm I've been having to deal with at work recently than anything else (little butt muncher of a coworker has been very rude to me recently and it's been stressing me out about maybe looking for a new job and stuff like that. Ugh. Not good arting conditions, though I have gotten some stuff done I haven't had time to document on my to-do-list)

Anyway. Inspiration has come back to me in the form of an indie game documentary. Jesus these things are beautiful. And it so psyches me up about LatchKeys and revs me up so badly to work on it! Which means getting coms done and freeing up space and not being freaking buried for once.


Sunday, and I think Tuesday and Wednesday (lol gotta dbl check work schedule) are gonna be big com work days. /rolls up sleeves cuz I wanna get a shitton done!

At this point I think I want these commissions done probably more than any of you commissioners want them /weeping laughs

Hey guys--first off--want to remind everyone that I DO have a commission to-do-list that I update whenever I get stuff done. It is linked on the top of my page, under the to-do-list. So long as you are on it, you are not forgotten!

That being said, I totally acknowledge that I am, well, rather slow. :(
Part of this is due to having a 30-40 hours a week job (which requires two hours worth of transportation each day on top of it), that often leaves me exhausted at night time and therefor not getting much done during my few hours of freedom I get.
Another part is I stress very easily. When I get stressed out I tend to avoid--which is terrible and not a solution at all! But it brings about a big sense of apathy when I get super stressed about stuff. I have a hard time getting myself to do anything at all, even eat. (Of course I know the solution is to get up, do stuff, eat, etc--but mighty hard to work up that motivation sometimes!)
Last part is that I took on a LOT. Not smart, I know--but I really needed the money (as most of them went toward a replacement tablet, and the rest to help ease my hour cuts during summer). And to be quiet honest, I thought I could do it all! (Lesson learned, thanks 8( )

As of right now, I am NOT taking any more commissions until everything is caught up. (So please don't ask for anything right now, the answer will be no.) Unfortunately I MAY end up taking speedpaint auctions--but two or so auctions can usually provide me enough of a necessary buffer while expending no more than 4 hours of workable time. I only take these on as necessary and hope to not need any more until all commissions are finished from this point forward.

If at any time waiting seems to be too long, you are more than welcome to ask for a refund. So long as I have not started your commission, I will 100% refund it back. There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to do this, and I wouldn't hold it against you. Whether you choose to try and commission me at a later date when my accepted work load is much much smaller, or whether you choose to not buy from me again I will understand! (I know I might be giving a bad commissioning experience and you have my sincerest apologies if that is indeed the case, and I can only hope you get better experiences with others in the future.)

(I would like to acknowledge that all art I'm doing right now is pretty much only commission work. Aaallllll that being said, I must confess the rest of this month will--again--be very very slow going. It's been getting super super busy at work--forty hours this week and the next and only one day off during the halloween week. Not a lot of time for me to do stuff @3@;;
During spare moments I will try to get as many drawings at least sketched as possible since it takes the least amount of time to do. Ugh, honestly I don't know WHEN things will really speed up--it'll probably just continue in varying speeds of slow--but I really am trying to bust things out as much as I can manage. (There are like 88240923403 personal things I want to draw, but am not letting myself do until I catch up fjsdlf -- all art work I do right now IS ONLY commission work)
