One of my dearest friends, @ephrien, is looking to part with her first fursona.

I have had the pleasure of drawing her all through my art journey and would love to see such a great character go to an equally great owner. I have also put money towards this character for friend commissions and the like. I guess you could say that Mara was Sparrow's first female best friend. So not only is she sentimental to Ephrien but also to myself.

Hey everyone!

So right after taking some headshot commissions the app I use to draw with got a major update. It was so major that I need to relearn where stuff is and recustomize my pens and such. The icons for everything has changed and they have new features which is amazing but the fallback is having to relearn certain things and where everything is.

Hey everyone!

So i've settled into my web design course, finding my way pretty easily through it. So much so I'm somewhat ahead of the class in regards to assessments. Which I'm quite happy about! So yes, i'm not struggling too much only with Javascript stuff but i'll get there. Towards the end of the term I will probably disappear again only due to cramming in the last of the assessments that are due. Just fair warning.

Now in regards to commissions, I have finally started drawing again. I've been doing a few personal things at the moment getting back into the swing of things so expect those before my commissions start coming out again. I'm mainly working on gifts and such for my friends and then some Sparrow art too so.. yay!

I must say though.. its good to be back.

Hey Folks,

I am starting my certificate in Web Technologies tomorrow. It's a full time course where i will be at classes Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am - 6pm. I'm unsure how much out of class time i will need to complete the course so things will be VERY slow until i settle into it. Then once settled I'll be drawing stuff for myself to minimize stress as much as I can. I will try do commissions in between all this.

Hey watchers!

I've been a tad inactive lately as some of you may have noticed but i have quite a good reason, i swear!

So lately I've been going through quite a lot of different things. Family, mental health, quitting jobs, tests and more tests. I won't go into details but basically I've been stressed out heaps and extremely busy. Some days I'm exhausted and don't do much and others I have some energy and try to do as much as I can. It's like everything and nothing at the same time. I essentially am living on a collection of pills at the moment for just above every normal function. Sleeping, waking up and being happy. I have numerous tests coming up as well.

Not only is all that mental, emotional stuff going on but in 4 days I will be flying over to Los Angeles to visit kuroiStar for 10 days. So this means I won't be around for almost all of March.

But rest assured, all art I owe is being worked on when i am able to. I am up to colouring on both the rather heavily detailed drawings I currently owe.

On a more lighter note, one of my drawings is going to be published with a custom poem by a local poet I recently met. He has his own published book (Private Ryan Volume One) which he gave me a signed copy of so thats quite exciting. And a friend's parent wants me to be a photographer for her small market business as well. It will eventually be paid as well so that's also pretty cool too. And I'm also volunteering at a Food Bank to help out a bit since i'm jobless and can't really do much in regards to paid jobs.

As i said above, everything and nothing is happening all at once.

Anyways, I'll leave it at that for now. If anyone wants to know anything in particular (specifically about commissions) just send me a note and I'll reply when I can.

Hey Everyone!

Alrighty, so for those who don't know I have a busted hand. This means I can't draw as much as I'd like to. Now i'm doing my hand exercises and trying not to use it too much and give it as much rest as possible. I've come to a point where I can draw but not for very long. Maybe like, 10 - 15mins before i need to rest it. So art WILL be slow for a while longer until my hand completely recovers again.

If this continues I will need to go back to my hand therapist and get them to fix it again. I'll be in pain and probably bruised but afterwards my hand will be fine! I hope it doesn't come to that though. I don't know if I can afford more hand therapy at the moment, even with the help of my health insurance.

I just wanted to let you all know that I am taking 1 or 2 days to rest my hand as its very sore. My previous hand injury is flaring up so i need to rest it for a bit. I can barely hold anything in my hand right now so i can't even hold the pen to sketch. I'm planning on taking some pain killers for it and doing some stretches so hopefully it will be better sooner rather than later.

I will get your art done as quickly as I can after my hand has recovered a bit.

So as the title reads, I'm going away for a week. I am going camping so this means no internet and no power and probably no phone reception either. It a long overdue family holiday and i have been waiting for it so much. I miss spending time with my family.

We are going to this place called Denmark, a suburb south of perth (australia) and the forecast is rain, thunderstorms and more rain. So it shall be fun. I just hope our tents are waterproof!

Basically everything will be on hold until I get back. I'm still going to draw hopefully while I'm gone but no promises there.

Anyways, I've been in an art block, out an art block and back again since I last updated and I've also gone on a holiday to see a friend in Brisbane and in 3 weeks (just under now) I'll be on a plane again to visit a very special friend of mine in LA. Which is super exciting cause it'll be my first time to America and also my first time leaving Australia by myself! So hopefully by late April I'll be posting more here.

Hey Everyone,

Just giving you all a brief update on everything at the moment. Just as the title says, im going on hiatus for an indefinite amount of time.

I feel stretched rather thin between my two jobs at the moment. My boss and three managers are all under stress at the moment so i'm pulling extra shifts for one and being, well, pressured to finish tasks that shouldn't even be my job considering its his personal tasks. Anyways all in all I'm under a lot of stress.

Basically, even though i love drawing, im going to go on a break from uploading and taking commissions and any other tasks i would usually do. I'm just going to take my time and finish up all the art I owe anyone and just draw for fun again rather than stressing over deadlines and unfinished art.

I can still be contacted via Notes/PM if you need to talk to me however i won't be replying to anything else.

Until I can get everything back in order and feel somewhat normal again i won't be returning. This may be after Christmas, maybe even New Years. It could be sooner as well. It all really depends.

Hey all,

Just wanted to let everyone know whats the down low with me lately. Not that i think any of you have noticed much because I upload quite sporadically (which isn't going to change much mind you). And yes it's quite long but you needn't read it all.

So let's start with the beautiful world of Art.
I've actually got quite a work load at the moment which has come as quite a surprise! I mean I hadn't realized how big my list has gotten. My current list is up to 12 from what I can recall! I don't ever recall having owed people that much art before. 7 maybe 8 has been my maximum. So yes 12, mainly due to my raffle over on DA which has recently ended but even so. At least I'm occupied right? So if you are waiting for art from me, I'm slowly powering through them all and I will upload as soon as I can!
Recently I have just noticed how much I've improved over the last couple months. Its come as quite a shock! Apparently not having a job for the longest time helped me improve rather quickly and with that comes some new prices, nothing too drastic mind you. Prices are still quite cheap from what I think anyways. But let me know what you think about the prices cause this is something I NEVER know is right. Its hard to put a price on something like this. well for me anyways.

Moving on to the RL world, Jobs!
As I mentioned earlier, I had no job for the longest time. Sadly i was labeled redundant and no longer need at my previous job which was a real bummer. I worked really hard to keep that job but given the area, it was bound to happen. Business fluctuated with the surrounding Trade business. So yes, I'm no longer employed there and thankfully my old job as an admin assistant was still available to me. So I had a few days here and there to ear a little pocket money to say the very least. It was up until a couple weeks ago that i managed to find my second job which has allowed me to stay at my admin job. I'm the proud worker of 2 entirely different jobs! Apart from admin assistant I also double as a counterhand at a very busy Cafe near the CBD. The draw back to having two jobs is not having very many days off. In fact I'm working for almost a full week, which is fantastic and everything but leaves little time for me to finish that list of art to do.
and all that is just jobs..
On top of all that I went on an 8 day holiday which was amazing! and I felt so refreshed when I came back that I didn't feel like working, but you gotta do what you gotta do right xP


Anyhoo, im just rambling about uninteresting things.. I'll leave it here for now.. who knows maybe ill think of something to add later :)

I want to draw, I've got much to do, but for some reason I can't come up with anything right now..i just keep staring at a blank page unsure what to do with it. It's somewhat frustrating me that I have no clue what to do..help meeee!
