Hey guys!

Not sure if you've noticed at all but I've submitted 99 pieces here since I joined! I know so many in such a short time, it's crazy! I can hardly believe it myself! I've drawn so much more than what I've submitted here and it's crazy to think I've drawn more than 100 in the short time I've been drawing furries. I never used to draw them until I met and it's thanks to her that I've improved so much! So thank you so so much Josie! You are the best!

In order to celebrate my 100th submission and I have decided to do a collaboration contest! Basically what is going to happen is everyone, watcher or non-watch/new or old, can join the competition! Everyone has equal chance as it will be a randomly generated winner. The winner will get a full body, full Coloured image drawn by rias and I of an idea of your choice.

to enter comment below what the commision is, the sillier the better and you can have up to 4 characters in your commision (be sure to link references!). After that select a number between 1-200. This will be your number for when we randomly select the winner.

The winner will be announced via a WIP image submission with the winners name on it!

It's been a while since my last update and I owe you all an explanation and update but first...

Now for updates about me and my hiatus.

Yes, i'm still on it regarding commissions as i'm trying to focus a lot more at improving my art at the moment and drawing more of my neglected characters. Art is my hobby and I was beginning to loathe drawing for a moment, always avoiding it or getting frustrated from it. Now though everything is good and i'm drawing a lot more!

My family life has been a bit rough the past couple weeks so I don't think i'm going to open commissions until everything is settled down. I'm sorry if anyone is just waiting for me to open them but I will post a journal when they are open again so keep an eye out!

Oh and as well as family stuff my health been pretty crumby lately. I've been sick almost the whole month without much rest between sickness'.

Everything has been so much fun the past month but its getting better.

Greetings Everyone!

I'm not going to lie, I've been quite slack lately with updates but with good reason! I was fighting a flu for a bit then it turned into bronchitis which is nearly pneumonia! If you don't know what it is basically its a really really really bad flu that can potentially kill someone, well if it turns into pneumonia anyways.. but.. thankfully after a number of weeks and a course of antibiotics I'm all better so hopefully things will finally start going again!

I'm free more days than working lately so I'm hoping I'll definitely be able to catch up with everything again. I think I'll close all commissions for now and focus on getting back into things and draw more for myself. They'll be open again in a few weeks time so don't fret! Also for those who already commissioned me before today, they will ALL be done before I go on a short hiatus. Everything from sketches to finished pieces will be uploaded so.. yay!

If anyone has any questions about commissions I will still answer you all but I wont be taking any at the moment.

I'm not sure if you have noticed but I've updated my profile info! It looks quite fancy but still needs some work done to it so there will be more changes to come though its not that important anyway. It looks nice though!

I'd love to play around some more with layouts for profile information so if you want an updated profile at no cost please note me! UPDATE ABOUT MY WACOM TABLET! I've got it! It's in my possession so I will now be able to live stream and for those special enough, we can go on iscrib7ble together! I will always post and let everyone know if im going to be on either of them in the future. Of course if you would like to go on iscribble one on one I'm more than happy to just keep in mind the time zones!

For all those who aren't aware, I've temporarily moved home while I do a trainee ship in Aged Care. Living out of home didn't last long but it was causing me more grief than was necessary. Stupid room mates who are always messy. I swear they were treating me as a maid then I move out and the house is spotless because they are looking for a new house mate. How deceiving!

So lately I've been drawing characters and friends characters as original species. I just want to see what they would look like in an 'alternate universe'. If anyone has an original species or unique race they'd like to see any characters in let me know! Better yet! Do you have a unique species fursona? I would love to draw my characters as you fursona's unique race! Geez I sound a little desperate.. I just really want to find some more but i've already dived something like 40 pages in during a search.

Hello everyone who reads my journals!

I'm artistically challenged at the moment >w<;

Because of that I'm just going with the flow of things, drawing what ever comes to mind and seeing if I can do things I wouldn't normally do, like shading and backgrounds as you can probably tell with my latest WIP. Basically I'm experimenting with it all so I can be better! that's what I think all artists strive for, be better and make better art. I can't wait till December when I can do the 2014 month art thing that i see all my favourite artists do :>

I know I said I would start season 2 of my collection but at the moment I just don't feel all that up to it.. not yet anyway. I want to finish my projects first before this! or well at least one of them. Maybe I'll finish the style meme first! Is there one that you really want to see finished first of the projects?

To  marqyam in particular, I haven't forgotten about your 2 commissions, they have been sketched but I'm not happy with the poses yet and am trying my hardest to finish it! I hope you understand.

It's my best guy friends birthday in 10 days! So excited because I've order him some pretty neat stuff. I got him a 1960s edition of Che Guevara's journal and a silk flag to wrap it in. I'm so excited to receive it but I highly doubt it will arrive in time. If it does, that would be amazing! We are going out for dinner too! have no idea where yet but its going to be amazing. I will need to find a back up present though, something breaking bad or doctor who would be good!

Good Morning, good afternoon and good evening!

So my new room mates have proceeded to call me 'Lars' for reasons I don't fully follow. All i know is it is something to do with the Swedish chef on the Muppets. The owner is nicknamed 'Hans' and the other is 'Chef' I think.. not sure. All I know is that I reply to Lars when being called now. Oh and it has to be in the swedish accent too!

I was pretty much forced to watch all of Teen Wolf as well and they are getting me on to Pretty Little Liars and various other TV Shows they are obsssesed with. Not that I mind, it keeps me occupied.

I've started sending hand written letters to my best friend today! I hope she's impressed by my 3 page essay! My hand hurt so much after that but i regret nothing! it was an awesome letter, considering it was my first!

Regarding the 30-day challenge, they never said it had to be one after the other for 30 days consistently ^w^; There should be Day 7 up tomorrow or Friday the latest!

I'm going to start Season Two of the Panty Collection in a weeks time as well so be on the look out for a journal and art piece letting you know when they are open! Remember it's Lingere this time round. I'm taking ideas for Season 3 now to! I was thinking Vintage Undies or something.. then maybe something a little darker. What do you guys think?

Oh and I haven't forgotten the Style Meme I said I was going to do! I've finished 1 and want to upload them one after the other so its more like a meme :>

The Big YCH Project is coming along great in case you were wondering. I'm just doing the proper lineart and adding in the special guests before I reveal it to you all! I spent ages making these amazing changes and then my program crashed and so I pushed this aside for a bit cause I was frustrated with it.

Day 06 - Write 30 interesting facts about yourself.

What’s considered interesting…? 0-0;

1. I was a major Tomboy growing up and wore boys clothes and refused to wear dresses and skirts and do my hair properly.
2. I helped steal a mosaic for my friend. Mind you she made it and the school refused to let her take it home. I wish I did the same with mie cause mine was tossed out like garbage.
3. When I was little I was absolutely terrified of fireworks.
4. I love tea more than any other beverage. I drink black tea, Darjeeling, green, jasmine, rose, mint, chamomile .. so many!
5. I’m a nana’s girl. I went to her house with chocolates and flowers and gave them to her cause… well… why not?
6. I’ve got a tattoo at the nape of my neck. Its paw prints!
7. I had a major crush on one of my brothers friends in high school after he quite literally saved my life when my brother held me down on the road as a car was driving past. He rugby tackled my brother off me. Unfortunately at the time he had a crush on my best friend ;_;
8. I’m a gift giver. Always! I’m better at shopping for others than myself. For mother’s day I spent about $200 on my mum.
9. I have 2 different Coloured eyes. One’s chocolate brown the other is a greeny hazel. Hardly noticeable but still there :3
10. I really like thrift shop shopping. You can find some pretty amazing things for a fraction of the sales price and it goes to helping so it’s a win win!
11. I collect art dolls. On etsy I scout and purchase creature art dolls that I collect and sit on my shelves.
12. I grew up with video games, I used to play sonic and Mario when I was little and gex and croc and banjo and kazooie and gex and crash bandicoot ^w^
13. I’m born 5 days after my mum, 7 days before my aunty and 14 days before my step dad.
14. It’s hard for me to catch a cold or flu even in winter. But when I get sick, I make sure I do a good job of it. For example: Stomach pains? Just cramps whatever. Nope. Gall Stones! Bam! Surgery!
15. My tonsils have been removed .--.
16. I collect old books from the second hand book shops around the city. I’ve got one that’s old green fabric cover published in 1956 *O*
17. I was a student cousellor during primary school. Which basically meant that I talked in front of assemblies, presented certificates and were all road top nerdy dog of the school.
18. Sleep is the bestest thing. Ever.
19. Given the choice between a vanilla ice-cream or chocolate ice-cream, vanilla will win every time.
20. My favorite scent is the tea rose. That’s also the scent of my perfume!

22. I have an insanely twitchy ring finger (yes, my left hand)
23. I’m left-handed with drawing and arty things but I’m right handed for most other things.

25. I’m a bit of a hoarder. I keep everything sentimental no matter how small and insignificant. I have drawings and silly little stories from when I was 12 years old XD
26. I watch Korean Drama’s because they are so stupidly entertaining! I’m currently watching Desebel which is about a mermaid.
27. I pause movies and tv shows if it gets too intense. So like if theres a scary scene I’ll pause it for a moment or if its something majoring embarrassing for the character I have to pause it.. so silly I know xP
28. I make a lot of expressions when I talk or listen and I don’t mean to. My face betrays me!
29. I hate having to make decisions, no matter how simple they may be.

Day 05 - A time you thought about ending your own life.

Well then, that was pretty abrupt. Does anyone really want to read such dribble?

As bad as it sounds it’s happened on numerous occasions though it was mainly due to my spiking anxiety which came with a lovely side of depression (it’s all better now though! Honest!). So it was always the worst when I was alone and driving somewhere and I drive around a lot and about 90% of the time I am in fact alone. So every time I would drive I contemplated veering off the road into a tree or off a bridge. Obviously I never acted upon it otherwise I wouldn’t be here but I got fairly close this one time.

I’d had a terrible week as it was and it seemed like everything was going wrong. I was quite literally having a panic attack while driving and I was scratching my arms raw trying to stay focused on the traffic. What made it worse was my boss was breathing down my neck about everything and just making everything a whole lot worse. And then I came to the bridge. I’m not sure if anyone is aware but when you have chronic anxiety you can get fears from nothing. Mine just happened to be a fear of crossing bridges and I cross a lot of bridges. So here I am alone, driving over a bridge when my mind just screams ‘drive off the bridge, screw your boss, screw everyone, just turn the wheel’ and I was spacing out (terrible I know) and picturing a crane lifting my car out the water with news reporters and all that.

Hmm.. I don’t even remember exactly what even started that… I think it was my dad’s problems and being in the middle of them and work and remembering some things from my childhood that were better left forgotten…

As a side note my family has a history of depression so it'll probably come back 0-0;

Day 03 - Your Views On Drugs And Alcohol.

Alcohol, I may not like to drink it very much but everyone else is more than welcome to it whether I’m present or not. Growing up in Australia its almost like EVERYONE drinks so I’m pretty lenient with it. The only problem I have with drinking is the guys and girls who drink until they are blind drunk and completely embarrass themselves and/or hurt others. By all means drink but just because your intoxicated doesn’t mean that you are entitled to be an asshole. I especially hate those girls and guys who become way too open, as in they just turn in to skanks and sleep and make-out with whomever they want, those people lack self-respect. So basically drink responsibly is my view. Drink what you want when you want just don’t make a fool of yourself while doing it.

And so comes the touchy subject of drugs. All through school I skipped these workshops because they brought back terrible memories from when I was really little. I’m very anti-illicit-drugs. I say the illicit bit because frankly we all need medications at some point from a doctor and technically that is a drug so I’m not anti-prescribed-drugs. I don’t agree with those who abuse those drugs either, they are supposed to help not turn your life into a high 24/7 to the point where you can’t live without them! Anyways illicit drugs are bad. All of them. I don’t care if you do them, it’s entirely your choice what you do with your life and if you feel it necessary to turn to harmful drugs that can potentially destroy your life and appearance. The one thing I can’t stand is how easily it is for teenagers as young as 13 to get their hands on it. The people who actually sell to minors should feel ashamed. For all those out there who are thinking ‘hey they are just experimenting with them’ can line up for a firm and hard slap across the face because no matter the reason minors should not try them when their minds are still developing. I went to a school where a lot of my peers were high and off their face at school during school times at as early as 7.30am. Sure they may have it rough but you need to push through that shit and not ignore it by jamming needles in arms, snorting powders or smoking and all the other ways you can. And if you are a parent, for the love of all things good, keep it away from your children, they don’t need to see you shove syringes in your arms.

One drug I don’t actually have much of a problem with is cannabis. Weed. My only request is keep it away from me and don’t force it on me.

Day 02 - Where you'd like to be in 10 years.

Where would I like to be in a decade…? I will be 29 Years old by then so I hope a lot of my current aspirations are met. I’ll outline them all below.

WORK ->
• Be long since gone from Mercia Taxation & Accounting
• Have a Career in a Nursing Home as a Community Therapist
• Have a fulfilling and worthwhile job that I enjoy doing (don’t we all!)
• Studied and complete Cert 3-4 in Home and Community Care at TAFE

ART ->
• Improved greatly with digital and painting skills (especially in shading and highlighting!)
• Greater commission prices so I have almost a second income
• Diversity
• Backgrounds!

PERSONAL ->
• Be more confident
• In those 10 years have at least ONE long term boyfriend (solame ;-;)
• Travelled out of the country at least twice
• Bake desserts that don’t look terrible!
• Be entirely independent from family

Just as a side note I would love to own and run my own café! I’m not sure if I ever will be able to but it’s something I definitely want to do! ^w^

Day 01 - Your current relationship, if single discuss how single life is.

As my profile and all my previous journals have mentioned I am a single pringle. Here’s hoping that I don’t sound too vain but I get to focus all my attention on myself. It’s not like I don’t want to have a relationship but right now I think I need to sort out myself before I drag some poor soul into my life. A lot has happened and I’ve gone through it all myself without the added pressure of a relationship so frankly I think I can do without until I meet someone I really like that is.

So day after day I go to work, get home and draw and such is my life. Nothing overly exciting happens however there are new things since moving house. I’m with my cousin and she owns 2 horses (GK and Beau) so I get to go hang with them every weekend (well most of them) so that’s pretty cool. I’ve started painting again as well! I’m actually really bad at it and it frustrates me to no end but the end product is amazing so I hope I’ll be able to finish my idea.

I get to cook dinner some nights and considering I love cooking it’s great fun! Tonight I am making Spaghetti Bolognese! I know that’s really easy to make but I don’t want to create too many dishes, cleaning the dishes sucks. I want to make dessert as well! But I’m not sure what yet.. Maybe I will look in the baking isle.. maybe butterscotch pudding.. yum! I just made myself hungry ^w^; (I sound like housewife material right there ohgeez...)

In case you haven’t noticed apart from work, art is my everything. But I do get awfully lonely on occasion, especially now that I’ve ‘flown the coop’ and living with roommates who don’t get home till 7pm (I get home at 3.30pm).

…The house seems so empty…

…I miss home already…

• What is the name of your fursona?
Sparrow

• Where did the name of your fursona come from?
I’m in love with Sparrows even though birds, from many terrible experiences, don’t like me. Mainly my love for the symbolism of sparrows is what drove me to create her with the name. I suppose in a way I think of myself as a Sparrow I guess?

• What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?
She's an Otter crossed with a lion and a dog. Reason being is because I couldn’t decide between all of them. I wanted an otter because it’s my ‘spirit animal’ and I love them dearly. I wanted a lion as well because it’s my star sign and well why not a dog as well?

• What color is your fursona and why?
3 different shades of brown. When designing characters I like mixtures of earthy colours. Also sparrows have a mixture of these colours, well almost.

• What is your fursona's personality and how does this compare to your RL personality?
Hmm.. She’s basically just me to be honest. With a few exaggerations here and there but purely based on me.

• What is one item your fursona owns that is significant to you in RL?
Typically she doesn’t have items or objects but I do draw her in clothes I own and our hairstyles are the same :D

• What is one thing your fursona would say to you if you could meet?
“This is awkward..”

• What is one thing you would say to your fursona?
I’d give her a big hug and ask her to cuddle me and watch Disney movies with me..and she’d agree without hesitation! I’m not weird at all xD

• How has your fursona changed over the years?
She’s newly created so she hasn’t changed at all since I first designed her. Except maybe going from feral to anthro that’s about it.

• How long have you had this fursona?
Like beginning of this year sometime..?
