Another year gone
Posted 7 years agoThings have been mostly positive since my last journal. I realize damn, two years of that emo journal up.
So.. work.. love my job.. hate my schedule.. but my boss gives me a lot of freedom to make up for it.
Two years of the Wobblura in a month.. love that damn Forrester still I'll have to figure out what to do next year when the lease is up.
OMFG the amazing arts. Seriously... rad comissions just in time for my Birthday.. Happy Birthday to me! More are coming~ Thicc dragons and holographic futurescapes.
Anyway I felt the need to get rid of the edgelord journal with something more positive.

Posted 13 years agoI'm not interested in straw man arguments about the meaning of the 2nd amendment when it was written. It's there, the genie is not going back into the bottle. Banning guns would not solve the problem. There would simply be more stabbings and beatings.
1) Publicly known weapon free zones are nothing but invitations for mentally unstable people to commit these kinds of disturbing violent crimes. By say there are no weapons and no guns here you are saying that there is little chance of resistance for the 10-15 minutes (if it's a good day, and you are lucky) it takes for police to respond.
2) Waving a bloody shirt to push an agenda is and will always be disgusting. Decisions made out of fear and outrage will never lead to good outcomes.
3) Tragedies like this highlight the need for better public support structures and better mental healthcare.
4) People that want illegal firearms to do illegal things will still get them. We as a nation can not secure our borders, the war on drugs (as laughable as it is) has proved this. Guns would be even easier to bring into the country than drugs as there are no gun dogs, or gun chemical sniffers.

Posted 13 years agoSo 10 months in to riding a street bike I can safely say I don't miss the car. I will miss the monster after going down in some gravel-muck mix which ended up trashing the frame. Pretty settled on what will replace her. If the pay out is good enough there will be a Ducati Multistrada (first gen 03-06. No preference between the 1000 DS and the 620. I've ridden both and I enjoyed them equally) or a Aprilia Futura. If it's not so good I'll be hunting a BMW R1100S or VFR800. So we'll see what happens. I was going to make a much longer post but I got distracted while writing this.

Posted 14 years agoSometimes fate gently guides you in the right direction or leads you somewhere you didn't expect. Other times it snatches you up in a current, smacks you about the face and screams in your ear like wailing banshee. Today was one of those days and fate grinned before bellowing out like some madden eldritch god "YOU SHALL OWN A DUCATI!"

1. I <3 almost every type of curry I've ever had, Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, Pakistani etc but my favorites are probably Thai Red Curry with Lychee Fruit, Thai Green Curry and Indian Mango Curry.

Posted 17 years agoSo FC was a lot of fun, next year I'm actually going to be staying at the hotel (the new one) rather than commuting to and fro because I didn't get the Con until after lunch every damn day. Other than that it was a blast, though I feel bad for ghosting half of it. (Was poor and didn't want to spend money and I would have in the dealer's den).
So what did I learn? Blackpaw Badger is pretty awesome in person, nice guy and a damn good artist. Inaki and Solei know waaay too many goddamn furries. I swear I lost track of the number of people I was introduced to.
Also Pathia makes and excellent conversationalist, sober or not though not is more fun. Eradragon can't hold hir booze... and make the jello shots before the parties goddamn it. Sangria mixed with fresh oranges and lemons is tasty... Kado is <3

So It's Been A While!
Posted 17 years agoMy birthday has come and gone, school is drawing to a close and the holidays are coming soon. So here I am thinking to myself about all that has happened this month. It's been a whirlwind of chaos, revelation, terror, relief, despair, hope, elation and sadness.
So what's the good?
Came out to my mom... and well she was far more accepting than I ever imagined. Although her intitial reaction was a little amusing. "Oh... that's a little shocking.. I just thought you were gay." Those were her exact words. While she doesn't understand it.. or quite approve of it. She's offered to support me in what ways she can, though her current situation with my little brother and my step father don't leave her capable of much aside from emotional support.
Other than that... got A's in all my classes at the moment,both my Human Sexuality and Psychology of a Crisis professors love me.. and I'll miss Prof. Stefonik (I've probably just butchered that) when Psych 49 is done. It was an awesome class, the work load was light, the papers were... actually fun and insightful to write.
So the bad?
Still no fucking job.
I owe Foothill roughly 1500 dollars and never got my Stanford Loan straighted out because my mom didn't sign my FASFA. (The latter has since been corrected)
I'm going to have to ask my dad if he will cosign on a loan to pay for next semester since my mom can't. (Because she had two houses in her name at the moment, both mortgaged her credit is the suck)
If I can't do that I don't know how I'm going to pay for next semester or this past one.
Oh yeah, I suppose some of you didn't realise I was a tranny. x3 Now you know! And knowing is half the battle.. GI JOE~

Posted 17 years agoAnyway... made it from Savannah, GA to Sunnyvale, CA in 5 days. Would have been less but I dropped in on 
kado in Tusla, OK and had to visit my mom in Salt Lake City, UT. Which kinda sucked but that's a looong story. Sorry to those that I didn't drop in on during the trip.. things got rushed and I was really ready to leave.

Posted 17 years agoI've got a place to be and some internets until I move to Sunnyvale, CA at the end of the July. So yeah, I'll be one when I can but suffice it to say money wise I'm real tight, especially since I was hoping to have a lot more in the bank by the time I wanted to move. Unfortunately circumstances have me moving 3 months early. On the brightside I get to visit with

Posted 17 years agoSoo like in two weeks I finish start exams, July 19th I have my NREMT-I testing... After that it's one more quarter of school to put together things for a cross country move. Not getting my hopes up too much right now because it's still too soon to be certain but plans for moving in with

Lots of reasons for this but probably the biggest is it's time to move on. I'm sick of Savannah, sick of the South. Lots of bad memories and old blood and I need a change, lots of them really. What better way to start than moving from one coast to another and into a house full of people I care about?
Anyway I was sick of that old journal and felt the need to replace it with something so y'all get the "official" annoucement now.

MusLtngFox311LP on matters that may pertain to a certain warning and his reaction to people telling him he was overreacting and that his rights weren't violated. Also, satire is trolling if offends his delicate sensibilities so watchout! In fact art better than his is now trolling as well because it offends him that people are better than him at something..
