If you've seen the variety of characters, concepts, and otherwise on my page, then you may wonder to yourself what the hell all of this content is and how it lines up together... Why is it that one moment I post a beautiful piece of a sharkigator in crystalline gear, and then the next it's all about the sex toys, but then the next there's some weird white wolf with a necklace?

This journal is a quick one-stop shop to give a small update as to what sets of lore I'm working with as of February 2022.

Hatoan and Nasudian Existence: (Essencial Universe)
The Hatoan and Nasudian Existence, rarely denoted by myself as the "Essencial Universe", is a world that idealistically mixes self-discovery and growth with a modern-esque world and the presence of demons, known as the Daema, and angels, known as the Angae. Custom to this world is one's spiritual power, which I call 'essence'; however, you could reasonably call it magic, since it's just an association with the natural elements or other complex concepts (like shadow and light). The Hatoan and Nasudian also exist in this world, which are the yin and yang of one's heart and soul. The two are the angelic and demonic counterparts of one's complete self.

The main characters of this universe, as I've considered it, are Hato and Kurai Saocorazon, who are a hato and nasuda respectively. One wishes to bring about the apocalypse and revive the originator of the Daema, the first Daemic Overlord, and the other has to survive the onslaught of emotions and guilt that he feels knowing his other half has caused so much damage to so many lives and prevent his goals... Often times leading to crossover, and also in some part focusing on a deep-dive into what seems right not always being right, and what seems wrong not always being wrong.

It's the oldest lore I've got, the most fragmented / developed, and also one that I've been kinda stewing over for a long time as the others get worked on. This includes story arcs, alternate ending options, and otherwise.

Daemic Sensations LLC:
Daemic Sensations LLC is, at its core, a lust/passion-based company, with Lazur Darkhorn as the overseer/founder of the name. Its fixation is on mass-production of the dragonoid's linanex into a variety of different forms, including transformative suits, bondage gear, and sexual toys known as 'sexual enhancement products.' The company branches into a gambling scene with a casino (not yet depicted) and a nightclub (also not yet depicted), where Lazur's partner in crime Livira helps with slowly, yet steadily, turning the world into a lustful place.

Concepts such as the following are highly developed because they primarily appear here:
* Linanex: Liquified, demonic nanite-infused latex, a former pet project of the daemic overlord and the reason Lazur is a master host with a hive.
* Sexual Enhancement Products/Prototypes: Acronymed as SEPs (or SECPs for those that need a DSLLC SACC to host them), these variety of toys appeal to a variety of fetishes and indulge one in their cravings.
* Sliger: Slime-tigers, which are naturally androgynous, but capable of reflecting male or female traits based on the host inside of them. Melanie is the first to showcase the species.
* Mintdeer: A winter-thematic set of bucks and does that work hard to get presents out for Christmas, then celebrate their success by breeding for the next year's deer to be brought in.

There is no central lore or character. A variety of different concepts I work and the characters I have will end up appearing in some fashion or another as a cameo of Daemic Sensations, including characters from the Essencial Universe and my miscellaneous roster. Daemic Sensations itself actually spun from linanex, which spun from the Essencial Universe because of Lazur. Do with that nugget of trivia what you will.

Fibroscurix and Hexatexime:
Hexatexime is a fibrous fungus, and fibroscurix the infestation of this fungus in one's body. Corruption by the fungus results in the presence of the rix, which are mold-beasts that have a fixation on producing natural latex and feasting upon objects or otherwise that also have traces of it. They are the bastardization of plants and animals, with a central focus of the world being on the societal collapse and lingering remnants of humanity and preventing full extinction.

There are a few different concept pieces completed for the rix, and I'm waiting on a few concept pages. My hope is to have enough content to debut this concept in full light through the entirety of a week with fun new uploads. Keep an eye out.

Symverse:
A universe in which people are often found to have friendly companionship in the form of the symsuit -- sentient yarn manifestation suits. Naturally shaped like plushies, these powerful companions are capable of taking you, as a human or petite-framed feline, and turning you into a powerful beast with traits beyond your genetic limitation(s), whether that's breathing underwater or taking flight, or investigating crime. They are meant to be your perfect companion, and often times a sort of complement to yourself, such as a shy character gaining confidence through a bolstered, cocky symsuit.

There's a few concept pages in the works for this concept as well, so there's not much that exists of it... However, I do have a couple of characters that are tied to it and with a bit more development, it'll make its appearance sooner than later. Keep an eye out.

Miscellaneous Characters with Lore:
* Eronsilius: A demi-god manifested from the will of a creator and destroyer that aims to maintain balance in the world. By making contracts with roamers of the world, he is capable of impacting this balance; however, not all seek to fulfill their end of his bargains... Often resulting in brutal takeover/possession as a punishment for their betrayal.

* Ryza Kessho: A beautiful crystalline goo sharkigator (shark-alligator) bore of mother nature herself, at least in theory. She aims to paint the world in gems, either by turning others into crystalline sculptures, or getting their help by coating them in her beautiful visage and sending them to be her brushes.

Man, it's been a couple of heckin' months...

Between making regular postings to Twitter (or, alas, trying to between moments), personal developments, and new friendships, August was a month. In summary:
-> My brother tested positive for COVID August 12th. I got sick the 15th from him, and spent two weeks out of work.
-> My car battery died the same day he tested positive (the 12th), needing replacement.
-> My grandmother tested positive for COVID August 17th. She passed away August 27th. Her graveside service was the 31st.
-> Others in my family were positive for COVID and a few of my friends tested positive and are in recovery.

In the ways of artwork and concepts, there's been a few developments:
-> Hexatexime and Fibroscurix are finally getting some concept work done. The lore docs were wip for a while but I hashed them enough for beast conceptualizations.
-> A couple of other pieces for Hexatexime are en-queued for future progress.
-> Sliger are gonna be getting a reference sheet! Simple slimy species, they are, but after a half-year of waiting and a small revamp, time to show their beautiful, simple selves.
-> Fun pieces with friends that are presently in the works, a couple involving bondage, others involving suits, and even a comic or two.
-> Two new character concepts for characters called Nexus, a daemic beast contrived from a human's torture, and Eronsilius, a sentient goo-imbued dragonoid mask.

Where I'm standing right now:
-> I got my license, so I can drive places finally... Albeit I've been wanting to stay home a lot more to rest.
-> Lots of artwork en-queue for completion this month, next month, and mayhaps into November. A couple of pieces are lingering from early 2021.
-> Looking forward to potentially posting some concepts/lore docs as stuff is hashed and finalized.
-> Getting some artwork uploaded for ShinyRubberPuro , since I've taken on a semi-manager role with him to help organize and keep stuff up-to-date on his FA. Check him out.
-> Readjusting to get back into full-swing for my work.

Well, here we are.

It's the end of March (technically April 1st now for EST)... All the submissions were uploaded and a final tally conducted.

I wasn't sure where March Madness was gonna go, but I am pretty surprised from the results. With 8134 views, 1015 favorites, 95 comments, and 113 new watchers, I'm ecstatic!

I set a goal in the middle of the month that I wanted to hit 1000 new favorites and 100 new watchers, and that was exceeded! Even more, I got to see some of the older content I uploaded still gets views. It feels nice to know that not only is the more recent content getting love, but the good old gallery is getting a scroll too!

To everyone that watched, thanks a ton for the clicks and I hope you fully enjoy the content I post hereon. There's sure to be a lot of Lazur, but I wanna spread my wings and engage a bit more with the community and friends, and get some more people involved on the pieces that I'm getting! This month you've seen a couple of them, and next month there's plenty more to upload!

Been lingering here for a couple of years since I last posted a sort of "IRL" update.

I graduated from ECU about a month ago, and since then, I have returned home from an apartment complex that I was living in (and luckily enough, using financial aid to pay the rent for). Ever since, I've been dealing with a bit of stress from a couple of people, as well as going on a job hunt trying to find a place to put my BS in CSCI to usage. I've tried applying to a few different places, but each and every time, it seems, something goes wrong or I get an immediate "you're not quite the right fit" - presumably because I have little to no experience under my belt. I did, finally, get a response from a place nearby that I have an interview with, which will take place in a couple of days on the same day as my birth - 18 June. Here's hoping to that.

Probably, the easiest thing to notice about my gallery in the last few months is that one character has been taking a majority of the commission work. This character is more of a personal one, which I proactively use for roleplay with close friends, and that would be the reason why. I haven't really put too much time into making new content for the rest of the group, and I've been a little focused/closeminded with trying to get a couple of references done. (Just look at Hato's sheet, and you'll see why - the details can start escalating with a bit of time.) There are characters I haven't even gotten around to developing yet, and though I want to work on them, right now I Just have intense writer's block about it. (Makes no sense when I can hammer 2-3 paragraphs a day for RP responses but those are a different situation where I have a basis, I guess.)

I have also, very much, been binging NCIS on Netflix. It's one of my favorite shows. I was also binging, last month, Kingdom Hearts III since that released, and I'm eagerly anticipating the Re:Mind DLC when it comes out. One of the few games that can get me shaking a box more vigorously than a washing machine with my face looking like Pac-Man.

So I found, today, a couple of the pieces in my gallery being posted on the website E621, which is a site that contains general, mature, and adult-rated content. A piece of Lazur, and the most recent piece of Kurai, were both found there, posted under usernames that aren't the official artists I commissioned. Because permission was not sought from myself, I filed takedowns for each of those pieces, and will hopefully get prompt response in such. (I also found a piece I commissioned for sirlexion from zeitzbach online as well, and he himself has had to file a takedown through the site.)

I understand that it's easy to go to an artist's page and see the beautiful pieces they make, and repost them, but there's a reason you'll find my name in the descriptions of the commissions when the official artists post them. They own the artwork that they commission, and I own the characters - they are my copyright. When I post the works I commission I ALWAYS include a link to the original posting, as well as posting their name, specifically specifying the artwork is their copyright. (This may differ in cases where I own the art's copyright, but I have yet to purchase a piece and have full copyright permissions to it...) I do this because it gives the artist time to gather attention to the piece, and then I can repost it to attract more attention to them.

I NEVER use the artwork I commission for posters or other media unless I explicitly get the permission of the artist. Kindly enough, zeitzbach has let me do 2 of those, and even given permission for a 3rd, and themefinland has given me rights to do so as well with the piece I commissioned.

I don't like the idea of filing takedowns for my characters and their artwork, because I greatly appreciate the attention that they get given as well as the kind comments; however, I will NOT tolerate their pieces being posted without my own, and the artist's, permission, regardless of whether you credit the original works or not. There is no exception - if I find it, and it's not the official artist's profile, you can expect an immediate message or takedown to be filed. I spend a lot of time working on the characters, building their world, and putting the requests in for artists to spend their time...

Wanting someone to ask me first isn't too large a request.

Alright, so I'm about midway through my first semester at actual university, and what can I say? It's an interesting experience having a home away from home. (Technically I don't consider university to be my home; it's more or less like taking a vacation, just extended by about 10x the usual time a vacation takes.) Some assignments are boring, others are interesting, and overall I'm having a decent experience... I have one class this semester that's really driving me up the wall, and it's not really the content of the class; it's the grading scale... But that's a story and a half in-and-of-itself.

This last week has been quite a doozy. If you noticed the comment on the commission by Zeitzbach I uploaded - or even if you didn't and notice the original was uploaded weeks ago - I've just been tired and dealing with things. Monday I had a panic attack, one of which caused someone to panic a smidge and get me sent to the hospital until 6:30 in the morning Tuesday. I had another on Wednesday, and just yesterday I endured another (which ALSO, in turn, got me sent to the hospital until 2 in the morning today). I also almost got set off Tuesday and Thursday, and because of all of this, I have a nice appointment scheduled with the counseling center on 10/31 to begin discussion and figure out what's going on, given that I hadn't had an attack for months up to this point.

I uploaded another writing to FA a couple of weeks ago, and that was because I was staying up that night to reset my sleeping schedule and just wanted to elaborate on one of the ideas I had last year (when I actually started uploading content for the most part). I also just uploaded two commissions by Zeitzbach, as mentioned earlier. I really do love the guy's style and his prices are pretty much affordable for the given results. I have another commission I had made by a friend, but I'm waiting on him to upload it first so I can post a hyperlink to the original - you know, to avoid copyright theft in all its madness.

Anyway, I'm still kicking and here; I haven't died yet. Still looking for other artists I could potentially commission (when I'm not dying of anxiety about even approaching them), and just overall sleeping off what's been going on this last week. So yeah, off to more sleep ;D

I'm quite surprised; I didn't realize that I've already been here for over a year... I didn't realize just how long time has flown by since I joined; heck, it was like yesterday that I put in a random username, joined, and started the experience. Regardless, if it isn't noticed already, my watch list and favorites is going to begin expanding, and it's with good cause; I've always had favorites and users I'd like to watch in my bookmarks, but I never actually took the time to press the "+Watch" button until today (mostly because I hadn't gotten out of the mindset I was a bit afraid of the place).

Anyway, I've already finished my first semester for this academic year, and I'm looking forward to beginning the second one with a strong start not just personally or academically, but spiritually and as a writer as well. I know I have to start writing and submitting on a more regular basis, and it isn't that I haven't been writing... It's just been content I've disregarded, find extremely personal or just didn't like in the end... So I'll have to try changing that at some point. And to try to do better, I submitted another piece just before the favoriting, watching, and so forth... So yay.

I haven't really spent much time here other than just browsing randomly through the vast galleries of some individuals here. I have to admit that I'm truly inspired by quite a bit of the artwork that I've seen, though I'm so unsure of favoriting something. It's just the fact that I'm new and unsure how the community would take it, and I suppose that's a normal thing; I'm somewhere new, so I'm likely shy and half-not wanting to admit to such.

Going away from the fact that I may be shy in regards to a new place, I definitely know that in a couple of days I'm headed back to school. That may seem strange for a few to read, especially as of this point in time, but I go back to my edu-ma-cation 2 weeks prior to traditional institutions (schools) for a special reason that I won't write in this journal. I hope to give an actual introduction of myself when I'm not feeling so shy, since I do that a majority of the time, but we'll have to see.

Until then, I just suppose I'll plan what to submit, what I'd favorite, and what I'll browse here on the interesting website of FA.

I keep meddling through my settings and wondering why the default stylesheet doesn't seem to be the darker of the two, when, as a guest, you see the website as the darker theme... I'm intrigued by this, but I have no idea who to ask about it; I suppose it's just a mystery that doesn't need to be solved! I'm also bugged a little by the submission of journals; there isn't a direct link via "Submit" (that I've seen). Instead, I've been navigating "My FA" > "Journals" to write one and submit it... Seems a bit more difficult than it needs to be to me, but for others it may be swiss cheese or a slice of cake, so I'm not complaining (though I'm going to have to adjust to the difference).

I submitted the first thing that I have planned to submit here; however, it wasn't exactly what I was planning to submit. I've seen a lot, and I mean a grand majority of the site, as anthro or anthro-related art, and the first thing I had to submit wasn't really about anthro-related themes... I did write in the description I have an idea in regards to writing something of relation, but I'm not sure if I'll write on it or not. I suppose that takes a bit more time and creativity (which I'm lacking a bit as of this moment).

Edit: Also, I have to mention the unique little (I'm assuming it's 64x64px) icon that displays if you don't set one of your own during the submission process; it's an interesting default, and more styled than I've seen in a couple of other locations. That's a +.

My name is Matt. I just got here, what, a few days ago? I don't know much about this site, but I've seen some pretty remarkable statements and some astounding artwork from my time that I've spent here. I've been mingling in the "Settings" portion of the site to see what all you can change and meddle with in regards to accounts, and I'm quite surprised in the amount of customization and input you can give; it isn't daily you find websites that let you add in multiple kinds of accounts that you own. I'm also quite surprised with the content I've seen thus far as well; a lot of people are really good artists...

Anyway, I felt the need to introduce myself. As I said earlier, my name is Matt. I spend a lot of my time daily on a computer (though mostly, right now, I'm on it because it's "summer vacation"). I'm one that loves to do multiple things in regards to multimedia; however, I set most of my focus on writing, attempting to make games, and toss out a video or two on YouTube (if I ever start up again... Haven't had much luck with it, so I kinda just drifted away). I created a deviantART account for the purpose of pasting stuff I draw (horribly) and things that I write, though I don't always post things there.

I'm not perfect, and I don't expect anyone else to be; however, I don't tolerate rude behavior. If I can tell that you're cracking a joke about something, I'm fine with that. Intentionally flaming someone or throwing spiteful comments; never. I'm one for second chances, but I have limits in regards to how many times I can forgive someone before they get an invisible finger and a block. I also like to try tweaking my behavior and skills so that they can please more than one person. As such, if I make typos or do something wrong, I like to hear about it (in a kind manner), so if I make mistakes, lemme know.

Anyway, I suppose that's enough of my long and constant speaking of myself. It's interesting to be here, and I hope to post up something really soon that I don't have on deviantART (either today or tomorrow at some point). I also hope to meet a few new people and find a spot in the community. *waves*
