Ha, no. But there was this one time that an old friend's stepdad's Saturn Vue standard got stuck in the mud... and we had to get it unstuck by putting someone in the driver's seat, and two people pushing it. When I was in the driver's seat trying not to stall it, and the friend (104 lbs) and her stepdad (300+ lbs) were trying to push, it went nowhere. When he got into the driver's seat, and the friend (104 lbs) and I (150ish lbs at the time) pushed, we got it going! And got splattered with mud in the process.
Do you own a gun?
Not unless you count a capgun.
Country you've been in?
America, and about a mile into Canada at Niagara Falls, back before you needed a passport up there.
Aren't thunderstorms awesome?
Um yes.
Would you rather be rich or famous?
Rich. That way I could move out and maybe even do things I want to do. And fix my fucking life.

Cold is relative. Do I like being cold? No. Do I mind it being any temperature between 45 and 70ish? No, it's nice.

Posted 13 years agoSo, many of you probably heard about the Nor'Easter we just got: "Winter Storm Nemo", aka New England Blizzard 2013. We got the blizzard Friday and I drew some art of two old characters (one from my old account LeolaTaylor named Zuri, and one from high school named Renée that I think Star uploaded some art of? I was gonna draw Star some art, actually, but then Zuri elbowed her way in and was like "I'M A PINUP NOW DRAW ME." So I obliged.)
And then we lost cable-- while I was watching NatGeo Wild, grr-- at 8:30ish, and while I was trying to watch Winnie-the-Pooh (don't judge me), the power kept flickering, and finally went out at 9:30. (Which sucks because the two things I hate the most are silence and darkness. And while it was not silent, the wind outside didn't help.)
So flashlights for everyone, and I slept with my battery-powered speakers and booklight on, and pulled my big plush snow leopard Nevada up onto the bed with me and I could sleep. (I feel like such a baby sometimes >.>;; )
Er, but anyway, we spent most of the next day with the power out too, so I drew Emyr (my lion dude) with a new character none of y'all know about yet, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Oisín (who apparently doesn't like wearing clothes). We got power back yesterday at about 4:30 in the afternoon.
I scanned those into my laptop and will upload them soonish. (No class tomorrow either, so I'm free to art till Wednesday morning, haha.)

A possible solution.
Posted 13 years agoI've been trying to figure out a 'sona for ages with no luck. I thought, "hey! Dragons are cool! I'll do a dragon!" And it didn't fit. And then I thought, "wolves are awesome! I'll make a steampunk timber wolf!" He's awesome, and his name is Charles. Still doesn't quite fit, though Charles isn't going away. He's another character to put on the back burner.
I'd been trying to stay away from big cats, kind of as a rule, because they're so popular, and I do honestly prefer wolves and some kinds of dogs. But half the people in my life are telling me I'm more feline than canine, possibly because I spend most of my time alone... I'm gonna try a lion and see if he fits by the time I'm done. Hopefully I will have a fursona by tomorrow.

I'd been trying to stay away from big cats, kind of as a rule, because they're so popular, and I do honestly prefer wolves and some kinds of dogs.
