RAIN!!!!
Posted 17 years agoSo it rained tonight.... and not like one of those sad pansy shower rains, it poured for a good twenty minutes, and due to this im in an absolutely fantasticularly splendiferous mood. i love the rain, it makes me feel happy and cheerful, and well... it makes me feel like dancing.
i didnt dance today though... i have before though... on multiple occasions.... gone dancing in the rain that is.... spring is finally and truly here now, no more snow no more cold the first real rain of the year has come and that means warm time naow :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Posted 17 years agoive noticed, from personal experience, and observing people, that when asked the simple question, How are you?, most people will respond with a generic pre-programmed response.
simply, if i were to ask you how you were today, most of you would likely automatically respond with
fine, good, or okay, and often these responses are way off from how the person is actually feeling. i do it alot myself, and recently decided to try and stop it, because if a friend or family member asks how im doing, i genuinely want them to know.
so this journal then is a sort of challenge i guess, for everyone who reads this, next time someone you know asks how youre feeling, think about it first, take a couple seconds and actually describe the mood youre in, dont say good if your feeling suicidal, dont say okay, if youre having a fantasticular day. you may just learn something about that person or yourself in the process.

Greatest thing since sliced bread
Posted 17 years agotoday my sister cooked lunch, and introduced me to a food that can only be described as one of the greatest foods ever invented.
toaster waffle pizza.
thats right, she took toaster waffles, and put tomato sauce, cheese and pepperoni on them the cooked the in the oven (i think she toasted them a bit before putting stuff on them)
but truth be told, pizza and toaster waffles are 2 of my favorite foods in the world.....and now i can eat them at the same time :P

something to remember
Posted 17 years agoafter looking back on my hard life when soul searching to find why ive been so happy i remembered some thoughts and ideals that kept me going when life went to shit, i thought id share them.
when the going gets tough the tough get going
yeah corny and overused, but its the truth. giving up when life get hard just proves all the assholes pushing you down right, never give up no matter the odds of your success and you can push through any problem
suicide is NOT an answer
cowards and fools kill themselves, noone else. nuff said
it could always get worse
seriously, no matter how bad shit gets it could always be worse, you could be trapped in a 3x3' cell strapped to a chair with your eyelids taped open being forced to watch every single episode of barney...... if that happens.... well then it cant get any worse, and i can forgive you if you killed yourself after.
just to prove them wrong
the perfect reason to succeed at anything you want to do in life, because those know it all bastards said you would fail.
if you dont care what they think... then just ignore their opinions
if they arent your friend, or you yourself, their opinions should matter only minimally if at all to you, if you have no reason to take their opinion into account... just dont.

Feeling content (Warning long journal, most of you likely wo
Posted 17 years agoas of late I've noticed I've become increasingly content with my life. and i decided to do some soul searching to find out why after so many years of stress, self hatred, low self esteem and anger... im suddenly so blissful and well content with my position in life...
and i finally realized that it wasn't just a sudden change, its been happening slowly over almost a whole year, as ive dealt with all the problems in my life... almost subconsciously.
First there was school, i graduated, a year ago actually, school always put me under enormous amounts of stress, i always felt forced to be there, forced to take the courses they wanted me to and learn what they say i have to not what i wanted to learn, even when i had the choice to leave, i felt like if i did id be nothing but a failure so i forced myself to go on. plus its a crowning achievement in my life, my older sister dropped out, and my mom was dropout too, so graduating really boosted my self confidence too.
then my father... 9 years ago he basically abandoned me and my family, 6 years ago he stopped coming to visit, for 8 of those years i sub consciously blamed myself for it.... finally around November last year... i realized it wasnt my fault it was his, and that my anger at him and myself was destroying me... so i stopped talking to him, i cut off the dead relationship and moved on
Third was getting a job, plain and simple, nothing gives a man a greater sense of self worth than getting a job, and being really really damn good at it. that paycheck every couple weeks, spending and saving the money that you EARNED, makes you feel good. that and I've been able to help out with some of the financial difficulties weve had around the house, and that makes me feel like I'm contributing to the family more than ever :D
Finally was my broken relationship with my sister.before the divorce, me and my sister were just like normal siblings would be we fought we laughed, we played, all that stuff. but after the divorce our relationship went downhill fast. we were both angry, all the time, we started fighting constantly, and though she usually instigated the arguments, i was worse because i lost control of my self when i got mad.... sometimes i even got violent.... and i hated myself even more for it. bout 2 years ago she moved away. recently though (just over a month) she moved back.... her boyfriend and her broke up and he kicked her out, she had nowhere to go but home. over the past 2 years she grew up alot, she matured and learned that fighting solves nothing. me i calmed down, i dealt with my anger problems, and cut the stress out of my life. over the last month, we've bonded like never before, became more than just siblings but true friends, a relationship that was nearly destroyed has now become stronger than ever. her and her boyfriend got back together too, and now he lives with us... one big happy family
and thats it, all the major problems I've had over the last 9 years of my life.... all suddenly gone in just under a year, and im happier now than I've ever been in my life, truly content, my house has become a home again, i am truly thankful that i managed to reach this point in my life.

Posted 17 years agowell friday was interesting. anyways after about 2 weeks of gradually warming up weather, there was almost no snow left the sun was shining every day, spring was right around the corner......
and then friday happened...... it snowed, and it snowed, and it snowed some more, right from at least noon (maybe earlier noon is when i wake up) till 4:00 the next morning, 2 feet of snow in one night... man the weather here is hilarious....

Posted 17 years agoI love the weather here lol, its been warming up abnormally fast for where i live, making me very happy knowing spring is around the corner. today it even rained :D thats right the first spring rain i was so happy i found a trivial excuse to go outside at work so i could be in the rain (i love rain btw) but wait it get funny, 2 hours later... it snowed XD thats right, the temperature dropped 5 degrees and it started snowing, gotta love spring here, the only place ive heard of that has had a week of +30 C followed by the biggest blizzard in years the next week in april lol

Stage, Round 2 :inside his own mind. a level. with no visible ground or roof, merely shifting light, and darkness, and the occasional random image or memory in the background. every few seconds it goes pitch black and your fighting in the dark.
Before Fight 1 : Runs in and trips, landing on his face.
Before Fight 2 : Already in the arena, sitting cross legged, eyes closed, hops up and assumes a ready stance.
Before Fight 3 : Runs in from the opposite side of the arena, jumping over his opponent and frontflipping across the arena to his corner.
Perfect Victory : Tch, was that it?
Victory 2 : WEEEEEEE!!!!! *Runs off the side of the screen*
Victory 3 : Sits down, crosses his legs, and closes his eyes.

Posted 17 years agoim all alone today and its wierd. its the first time in months im the only person who is at home. my mom is working mornings today and yesterday, which is really strange, my sister had to work early too, and my brother actually went to school for once, and its really wierd, the house is completely empty.... i mean when im here normally everyone else is asleep, but its different knowing that the house is empty not just quiet.
so ive been listening to music on my surround sound and keeping it cranked up, cuz being alone was bothering me, and the loud music helps.
