Still alive!
Posted 3 months agoI haven't been as active in my furry menagerie as I wanted to this year, but life got a tad complicated.
But, that said, things are starting to get back into gear with one new story commissioned and two new stories to add to the anthology.

Its been awhile!
Posted a year agoSo looking at my profile, I noticed that I hadn't posted a journal since the beginning of the year! Figured I better put in a little update :)
So earlier this year, I lost my job, searched for a job, found a job, quickly hated that job, quit that job and then found one that I have been enjoying and its close to home. And now that I am permanent at this new position, I am trying to get back to my writing and furry artwork hobbies. Gotta continually grow the anthology and all that :)
Shorter version, life got a bit out of whack, but I am back on the path and moving forward. I hope that everyone who reads this is doing well and that their lives are going great! And as always, feel free to drop a line or ask a question :)

I hope everyone had a great time last night and isn't paying for it too much this morning. For this bear, spent the night in bed reading. Yeah, I'm such a party animal ;)

I am more active on BlueSky at theodoreursus.bsky.social right now, but stay tuned here for more uploads. There are several stories nearing completion or are complete and waiting on final approval.
October just flew by! I had a small trip, a busy work schedule and lots of stuff going on. Which is odd as I am usually doing the casual Halloween thing all month. Oh well...maybe next year :)

There are some minor differences as the podcast took the original take from Joshiah before I massaged it into a story that fits the Anthology series. But, the differences are very minor and its a very enjoyable tale!

Character Transfer: North

About this time last year, I adopted a lynx from
JellyDoeOpal. Well, I did it again :)
I have just completed the transfer of art of the sun bear formerly known as Thorn.....please meet the sun bear North!
The artwork is now no longer part of Opal's canon and there is no relation between the characters. Artwork has been uploaded with references to the original artists so credit is given to those who earned it.
Expect to see North appear in the River City University anthology story in the near future :)

New Banner and some minor updates
Posted 3 years agoGood morning all! Hope everyone is doing well starting the week after Thanksgiving.
With the addition of being able to have personal banners to your FA account, I have cobbled together an image from existing artwork. Its not perfect, but will work well enough until I can commission a specific piece. I'm sure artists all over FA are starting to experiment as I type this.
Not much to add at the moment. Several stories are in the works, but almost all outstanding artwork is current in house. I even have another small ficlet I wrote that needs to go into the next anthology edition.
As ever, if you have questions or just want to say hi, feel free to drop me a line :)

Question concerning a Free Raffle
Posted 3 years agoAfternoon all! I have a question for everyone.
If I were to offer a "Free Raffle" to add one of your characters to my anthology via a short story that I would write, would you be interested in participating?
The story would be about 1k to 3k words. It could be something mundane or it could be sexy. And my sexual tastes are pretty vanilla so nothing to far out there for those curious. Probably be one or two of your characters or one of yours and one of mine. Will keep it simple :)
Essentially everyone who was interested would chime in, receive a number and then I would draw a number at random for the winner. The winner and I would then discuss characters plus do's and do not's before I write anything.
And for those who I have already been speaking with and adding their characters, those plans haven't changed. They are still being added. This is just an idea to open up the option for other furs that I don't speak with often.
Again, just an idea and would appreciate your feedback :)

Been a couple weeks :)

I missed a couple journal updates due to the holiday weekend and just waiting on more information. So today's journal is a big of a catch up.
First, we have another story completed and inserted into the anthology. I should be posting that story separately here in the near future. Another one of my characters has some fun with one of
Joshiah's :)
Second, the first art piece I have commissioned in awhile may be done this weekend. It will add a bit of color to the previously released "Swim Meet" story.
And third, the second half of the story that I mentioned in my last journal should be done in a couple days. So the latest release of the anthology should be soon! We are at over 200 pages and 62K words....and growing!
Life wise, things are good. Finally finished some long term projects that were driving me crazy and I received some positive news work wise. So things are looking up!

Not much to add in this update. Awaiting the completion of two story commissions and writing some small ficlets to help fill in the blanks between stories. In fact, I just posted the ficlet "Floor Meeting" that helps explain how so many female bears all know each other :)
There is one thing to report on though. I had a fellow fur ask if I take suggestions for stories. The answer to that is yes! And I am open to the possibility of other characters from other furs appearing in stories as well. So if you have ideas or have a character you would like me to consider, sound off!
