Notice-in case of Hurricane Idalia
Posted 2 years agoIn case of Hurricane Idalia [btw f i really wish they spelled it Idyla after Janacek's Idyla for strings, love playing the Andante of it]
The custom flat gouche will have its time estimate bumped up by 5-10 days. depending on how badly the impact is, on the 2 week estimate.
Payments are still on 25/25/50, so its $15 to start, $15 at under-painting, and $30 at finishing touches
Other work has a bump as well-But I am trying to get big sections /Half of them complete before the landfall of weds. so that there isn't as much of a wait.
Remainder of que should be cleared in the next 2-3 weeks completely, bringing me to a zero que.
I am ahead at work right now after a busy first few days! [And preparing for them] but the hurricane may mess my plans up as far as my timing- so this is just kinda a heads up.... ignore if it veers.

Posted 2 years agoWas called in to work over the weekend so I need to re-calibrate time estimates-I can only fit in a FLAT gouche w. simple bg and get the other's waiting still moving along quickly.
Had a super busy week-but now I have a bit more down time before the new job I am going to open one slot. I'll be catching up some more this week as well with some projects/Corrections/etc. [ie-finishign up ychs to post for sale, etc.]
-Payments are 25% due up front, 25% at flat gouche, 50% due at final touches via paypal
-All species, genders, etc. are welcome. SFW or NSFW. Most kinks are a-okay, if its accepted on FA its usually fine by me.
-Gouche has no linework and glazing for shading/highlight depth, Flat Gouche will not have the shading/lighting 'glazes' but will still have shading to the character and watercolor/underpainting BG and is also lineless
-All work is digital

Okay, for the past 6 ish years I've had a combine private and public que of close to 300 + adding 15-30 pieces of work each month to make ends meet. Split about 50/50 between the public and private que.
Even accounting for my recent massive gap That's about a piece completed every few days days.
YCHs and such that proceed will be auction style, as I've been so out of touch with the market that I've not a clue how to go about pricing.
Once I'm caught up, the 25/25/50 method of payment will be switched to 50/50. I've largely been able to not take on work and rely on my part time gig-but that abruptly ended two weeks ago to fill in only -as needed- because their farm is on the verge of closing as well.
I only have a few weeks until my new job-but that job still is only contracted for about 9 months -So in the next few weeks the last 4 should be refunded and I can start totally fresh.
I can't express my gratitude for peoples patience enough. ;LKSJDNFGKJNFDGLKJNF i love you furries.

Posted 2 years agoI got a move-in date for a nice facility that is MUCH more capable of dealing with my mother's dementia - Its only 6 weeks away!
Its been so hard to deal with-She is extremely combative and paranoid and takes a lot of attention to keep safe. The sheriff is out almost every week for something she did or called about-and I am NOT trained or know how to deal with these things.
So I will have a lot more time and she will be safe!
KSJFNKJDNFKAJNGKN This has been a trying year. Its day and night, she never sleeps, and so-neither do I. Its almost constant issues and its almost impossible to find in-home health care workers that last more than a few days/weeks and insurance covers only about 30 ish hours of it a week-if I can get someone in. Most of the time, either no one comes, they cancel or there is just no one available/they quit.

1st Refunds Done + Good News!

By now the refunds listed as 'Done' should all have been sent.
IF YOU DID NOT GET YOURS AND YOU WERE ON THE "DONE" LIST COMMENT HERE- there is still a lot of notes to get through and this is going to be far faster for me to quickly scan and correct.
Secondly- No more collabs, no more animations, or flash games. Unfortunately, I can't monitor everyone of my collab partners and over the years I've just determined that its better to stick with my own name especially given my health -If I make mistakes from my lack of activity here, thats 100% on me, but it shouldn't affect others and vice versa. I've kept about half of my health problems totally private and will discontinue any talk of whether its going good or bad, just because when I needed to take the time to focus on that and my mothers health, rumors spread a bit too fast and made people anxious-something I don't want to happen again.
Also, giving my files over to others has proven a ripe ground to be edited in ways I didn't approve of-Again-, being traced and resold, and more-. and so the original files only belong to the person who paid for them. Since I've been gone for almost a year, catching up with things hasn't been an easy task and there were some unfortunate surprises I'm having to deal with that have added to the stress taken care of!
ALL notes should be caught up on-again, telegram is out of service-I'll be setting up a fresh one when things are more stable.
And the GOOD NEWS-
I GOT AN AMAZING JOB OFFER at one of the highest and most prestigious Educational institutions in the country. I will be continuing my education and this place is paying for it all!!!! WOOHOO!!! This also means refunds will happen SOONER. I worked my ass off to get this position and there is still a lot of work to be done. I start in a few weeks time.
While my past motto was "to each is own, -don't bother me about someone else", I've learned-That doesn't work in today's society. While I'm keeping the furry world separate from my professional one-I'm going to treat it as if they ARE/COULD cross, as there is a good chance I could be working with a fellow fur who is on FA or familiar with my art. [because I've seen fa on people's screens already and from past conversations I know other furs work there who are on here and I just wanna keep things professional. But I love you guys and don't mean to not introduce myself or anything like that in person.]
My health is still Meh-but with this job comes a shiny new insurance policy and access to all the healthcare I need for free or reduced rate! Which means overall, the things I was ignoring/letting get worse, won't be! And thats the last I'll be commenting on my health. I've very happy to get this benefit!
So overall good news but a reminder that if you didn't get your refund while listed under DONE, then please comment here! I am making this featured so everyone can see it. Next round I will do the same thing.

The Dementia Train is Leaving //refunds and art coming
Posted 2 years agoIts been such a mentally trying time I just wanna fucking cry. [EDIT- Yes, my mom has a form of dementia and thats why its been so unbearable and out of whack. She'll be in a safe place soon but now I have answers as to why things are so combative and off the wall]
I am so sorry, I've barely been able to do the refunds and get back on track.
I get a break in about 2 months when there SHOULD BE AN OPEN SPACE that accommodates all my moms need and is covered without me having to come up with extra that I just can't afford.
I've uploaded some WIPS as proof of what I've been working on and how I've restructuring so your refunds and work are in the process.
I get a small check for the sale of some ag equipment at the end of august.
So thats looking like a more quiet time without a faster rolling progress than this upcoming month and previous months.
I cannot apologize more profusely. I really expected once I had my health in order, with my new crop, everything was on a wonderful upward trend.
EDIT- REFUNDS FOR THE MONTH-I've refunded 3 and thats as many as I think I can do this month-Paypal may take several days to process-But I tried to send it in a way which would get ti back to you INSTANTLY.
IF I HAVE NOT LISTED YOU ON MY PROFILE AS NEEDING A REFUND PLEASE COMMENT HERE - So far only 7 left to go.

also, I'm adjusting my plan a bit so that I feel its more fair to potential customers.
Instead of half upfront and half at end, It will be only 25% up front, 25% in the middle, and 50% due on final approval. this should break payments down even further. Still the same policy-I'm NOT MAKING ANY MONEY-ALL FUNDS GO RIGHT TO REFUNDS UNTIL MY QUE IS 0. Then I am and will be thrilled to start working in an organized manor, one at a time.
I hope the upgrades to my computer, my art program, etc. prove to be pleasing and worth it for you all. I really want to put this effort to make up for all the trouble and any distress I may have caused. I have made enough repairs that I can also start STREAMING your work again and plan to work exclusively on stream at specific times [unless private request/I think I can do a closed stream]

The ugly truth is that my mother had to move back in and she's dangerously evil...Just...Like.... feeding c. diff feces to hospital patients [she did it] kind of evil. I've been just too embarrassed and ashamed to say whats been happening..
I am selling the farm and running.
Here is how I plan on fixing things with you and FA:
-ALL people are on refunds until I hit zero.
-Some get refunds +their work or what was done, if I have it....
-Part of the issue was she smashed my computer to shit. I'm so sorry. It sent me into a wave of depression that lasted months....
-ANYTHING POSTED IS MONEY FOR REFUNDS ONLY.
-This will be ALL pay backs until I reach a zero Que.
-Payments are in halfs now. Half up front, it refunds some people, half when finished, refunds another.
-I also have a totally new program I'm working off. So my art, different than what you commissioned, so thats another reason I'm refunding people.
In Addition, I'm so worn down, especially from the abrasiveness of messages left while away, that chances are; I'm going to be very quiet and you're jsut going to get money in your account while I get out of hell. I just don't want this to bleed over any more than it has.
I do hope you've all been much better than I have.
