Who wants to be in something I'm thinking of writing?
Posted 16 years agoI keep slacking off on writing, but I'm feeling inspired to start a new project, just for the shit of it.
Weirdly, I seem to crank things out a lot faster when it's just like 'whatever'. I guess it's just because I obsess over making the things I care about really great.
Anywho, the idea was something I came up with durring the Summer Writing Contest on F2F (which has still yet to name winners btw.) but passed over in favor of another idea that would actually fit the 10 page limit.
I suppose it might fall under the catagory of fan fiction, though it'd really have quite little to do with the characters from the series for the most part. More to do with the basic setup.
Anyway, the reason I'm even bothering to mention this is that anyone I know who wants to be a character in the project can be. Maybe just as bit character, maybe as a secondary character, or maybe a main character. Just have to see how that turns out.
I call it Shaman King: Summer of Spirits.
The premise is that (at least some of the) core group is at some Furry con* and going about their business. Suddenly spirits pour out of the sky* and chaos ensues. People pair with (mostly) animal spirits of some kind (I've yet to mull over the details.) and the furriness begins. From there on out there'd be fighting, probably a tournement, and who knows what else. I'm sure I'll wind up with some grand plot end all thing.
There are some peeps I know that I already intend on putting in this just because I want to. I'm just going to go forward with that unless someone objects, in which case I'll gladly remove them.
So! If you want in, let me know! I'd be happy to add to the roster.
For details I'd need standard stuff like looks, human name (last name may or may not be nessicary. You can always make something up.), and ability related/fursona name. More details are welcome, but may be altered if, say, someone wants something absurd.
To be clear, this is free. Not one red cent comes out of your pockets if you want to be in this. It's just a 'for the hell of it' project where you'll get, I'd hope, some neat writing involving you/your character/whatever.

Posted 16 years agoSo, my Pokemon journey (previously mentioned) went perfectly. Hopefully I can trade off two of the Arceus I got for two of the few I don't have. Hmm. And I still have that extra Shaymin...
Anywho, while I was up there I also found a game I had missed out on (Sonic Rush: Adventure) while it was in my local stores due to funds. So, I was estatic at that. Also found another game I've not seen around here that I wanted, Megaman Starforce 3: Black Ace.
Then I got Wii Sports Resort and Mario Party 8 with a savings of 20 bucks. Not the best deal ever, but MP8 has been out for quite some time and not gone down in price, and I doubt Wii Sports Resort was going to either, so saving 20 on what would have been a $110 purchase sounded good to me.
All in all, it was quite a nice trip. Got some Arbys on the way back ^^ that was nice, as we haven't had an Arbys in our town for a few years.

Posted 16 years agoIf things go how I'm hoping, I will soon have 3 of the 'God' Pokemon, Arceus.
I say IF it goes because I need a ride. Nearest Toys'R'Us is in Kalamazoo, which is roughly an hour away. They're giving away Arceus via Wi-Fi to Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum owners. Since I've got them all... I gets threeeeeeeee. Win. Hopefully I can trade for the legends I missed down the road with the extras.
EDIT: T_T also need a day off. Sunday is still a possibility if I can't get time off since I get out at 5:30, but it'd still be pretty late by the time I got back home...
