Quick updates!
General | Posted 4 weeks agoOh my gosh I can’t believe I forgot to take down the Kickstarter notice!
Project Starlight was fully funded a while ago, achieving a final total of $7,373 out of an asking price of $6,500! That is AMAZING!!! I couldn’t have done it without all your help! I’ve just about finished sending everything Kickstarter related out and I’m going to start preparing a website, at least in a “coming soon” state! Thank you all SO MUCH!!! This couldn’t have come to fruition without your help! You all have my eternal gratitude. ;u;
My current PC is on its last legs, but I’ve got a quick and cheap replacement (cheap for what I need anyway) coming soon, so I should be back into the thick of things fairly quickly! Currently backing up what I can veeeerrrryyyyyyy sloooooowwwwwlllllyyyyyyy and I’m using a gently used iPad and Bluetooth keyboard for the time being…which may actually be a great portable way to get some things done! Hell yeah!
ANE 2026 is coming soon and you know I’m going to be there! Right now my con plans for 2026 have ANE, Furcationland, and FWA officially confirmed, and I’d LOVE to finally hit the west coast and go to AFC next year! This one’s tentative but I want to make up for being unable to go to Furry Migration this year.
Until next time, friends! I have too much to do and not enough time to do it. My life in a nutshell. Xux

Project Starlight is FULLY FUNDED!!!
General | Posted 7 months agoOh my gosh, I don't know what to say besides THANK YOU!!!
This has been quite a campaign of a LOT of hard work and spamming, but I'm so pleased y'all saw that I was just trying to work really really hard on getting this project funded that means so much to me. Thank you, thank you again!
Due to the FA outage, I was able to get a small extension on the Kickstarter and the last day is now on Saturday. We're at $6,692 at the moment, almost $200 over the asking goal! I don't really have any stretch goals at this time, but any further funds raised on this are going to go toward rewards expenses and getting the website up and running. We've still got a few commission slots open too, and the raffle offers are still available if you're interested in just helping out, $10 will get you entered for one of three neat prizes, including a framed and signed copy of the cover, a low-poly 3D model commission, and a copy of the Deluxe edition of Beyond Shadowgate on Steam!
Thank you again so much everybody! There's no way I could've done this without you.

FWA 2025, Kickstarter Updates, and Raffles, OH MY!!!
General | Posted 7 months agoHey everybody!
So we're down to the final three weeks of the Kickstarter campaign, yet I've still been workin' very hard behind the scenes to get some cool things going still! There's no sitting on the job when it comes to getting funded, my goodness there isn't!
So the first thing, FWA 2025! I'm gonna be going and seeing my pals and leaving Kickstarter advertising! Take one and check it out if you see it! Scan the QR code! I worked hard on these things! Please enjoy them!
I'm also going to be doing my Cut Content in Retro Games panel there too! This year, due to kind of skirting the deadlines a bit, I was able to only get a slot in for Thursday from 8:00 - 9:00 PM in the Hilton, but HECK, I managed to get in! I've been so focused on Project Starlight, I missed the regular deadline! WHOOPS! Some of you might not be there yet at the time though.
Secondly, I've been working behind the scenes to get some extra bonus raffles for some lucky donators in the Kickstarter! As of right now, we're gonna be doing three of them!! To be entered, simply pledge $10 or more by the end of the campaign and you'll be automatically entered for a chance to win! And the prizes are...
1.) A framed 12" x 18" print of the cover of Chapter 1, signed by both myself and my good friend and cover artist,
Astrozerk04!!
2.) A one character, low poly 3D model commission done by my good friend Tyler!
3.) We're still working out the kinks on this, but this is a REALLY REALLY cool prize! I might have some friends in game dev places... > u >
It's been amazing how much I've been able to get extra for you all for this campaign! Not only are you supporting indie comics and amazing artists, but you're also getting some HECKIN' COOL PRIZES on top of that! I don't know how many Kickstarters do that up, but I'm excited to really give back to you for your support!
We're currently at $3,670 out of $6,500! Right now, $35 more will get us at an even 57% funded, and at $3,900, I'll be doing another character bio reveal! Come click the link and help us out! Or if you see one of the ads floating around FA, click on it and support us! Thank you for your support so far! It means the world to me to be able to make my dream comic come true, and I wanna show that and give back in a big way to show I mean it! THANK YOU!!! If you haven't seen it, click the big ol' honkin' link below! THANK YOU AGAIN! x3

Project Starlight's Kickstarter & Upcoming Cons!
General | Posted 8 months agoHey everybody!
I'm still lurking and hanging around, and I hope you are still too! While there's been...no submission activity in a long while (I do have a backlog of commissioned art to post), I have been hard at work on one thing...Project Starlight! And as of now, I am excited to report that the Kickstarter is FINALLY going to be underway on Monday, April 7th! Here's a link to the page so you can get ready!
PROJECT STARLIGHT KICKSTARTER PAGE!!!
Click that link! Right now it's in Pre-Launch mode right now, but on April 7th, the cover AND the two teaser pages will be revealed! There will be some print rewards (which I'll be handling personally) and commission rewards available as tiers as well! There's a LOT to get excited about here!
I'll also be at my local con Furcationland this year, as well as FWA in April and May, respectively! Keep an eye out for Project Starlight spam there! Heck, take one with you! Help me spread the word about this and tell yer friends or anyone that sounds interested! You're helpin' me make my dream come true here and make a nearly half decade of hard work, trials, and tribulations worth it.
Thank y'all so much!

MFF 2024!
General | Posted a year agoHey hey! Going to be leaving tomorrow night for the con! I have to stay up all night in the airport again, but it's always worth the fun time I have there. Who am I going to see? :D
ALSO! Be prepared I will be leaving a LOT of spam for Project Starlight! The Kickstarter is still on the horizon (I'm just waiting for some things to get finished up that are out of my control at the moment), but it should be launching in Early 2025 hopefully! STAY TUNED! IT IS COMING! :D
I made the spam mostly myself please pick it up and take it home with you. :3

10 Years and Big Announcements!
General | Posted a year agoHeck, wow! I've been so busy I didn't even realize that my official 10th year in the fandom went by already!
Not gonna lie, part of it is a "where did the time go?!", but also part of it has just been absolutely amazing how far I've come with things. Seen a lot of people come and go, but in some ways, I still really feel like "the new fellow" like I did at the beginning, when I had to start from absolutely nothing and go around and meet people again, make new friends, and what have you. I really have met some amazing people over the course of the last ten years. People have come and gone (some gone far too soon), there's been a lot of ups and downs, but I really feel like finally, I've settled into a nice little community that has been really receptive to me overall. I really feel lucky to have met all you wonderful people and been able to interact with y'all, and y'all get to know me a little bit better. Y'all are great, folks. Without y'all, I wouldn't be here or anywhere.
Without the support too, I wouldn't have been throwing myself headlong into my passion project of a comic, Project Starlight. Which makes for a great transition point. After nearly four long years of massive ups and downs, me talking about it like an obsessive mofo to anyone who'll even half-listen, and even going so far as to start a business for it, I can finally say I've announced my staff for the comic!
Here's the official announcement on my BlueSky!
I don't think my lineartist (Noid) and colorist (FrogletComics) have pages on FA, but my other two staff members do!
Sprech4 is doing the lettering and
Astrozerk04 is doing the cover art for Chapter 1! Exciting times are ahead, and with any luck, I should be launching the Kickstarter for the debut chapter either this month or next!
It's been an amazing and lovely ride so far, everybody! I'm very excited to see what the next ten years will bring.

There's a lot going on!
General | Posted a year agoHey, everyone!
Mostly wanted to update people here on things! It's been kind of a wild ride to be honest!
So I've finished my call for artists and I do have my people chosen, but then I ended up finding out literally last week I had the hurdle that technically I'm doing enough business type things to have to register as a business legally in order to do what I'm doing with Project Starlight. Fun! I'm not really thinking of this fully like a business, but to make sure my taxes and compliance is on the up-and-up, I unfortunately have to play ball before I can start doing things. It's going to help me out a lot in the long run though, it's just a hurdle I wasn't expecting I'd have to jump over! Thankfully my chosen staff has been really gracious about this so far as I'm doing a business trial by fire...at least I hope they are. XD
Once I get these business things handled, I'm gonna finish up the rest of the back end stuff I absolutely must do and then start with the plan of finally announcing the artists and launching the crowdfunding campaign to start Project Starlight! This is REALLY EXCITING, SERIOUSLY!! I've been imagining how this whole thing is going to go for the past nearly four years now, and with it actually happening around the corner, GOODNESS!!! I was hoping that I'd be ready to go next month, but I'm not sure how feasible this is going to be or what I'm going to have to wait for, so I'm hoping that I can start next month with few (if any) delays on this! It might have to wait 'til the fall, but I'm hoping not! I'll keep you all posted, or follow my BlueSky for the occasional skeets about it!
Y'all know how much this thing means to me, and getting this started is nothing short of a miracle I've been working hard to make happen. Stay tuned, folks! BIG BIG NEWS IS IN STORE!!!

Call to Artists for Project Starlight is OFFICIALLY OPEN!...
General | Posted 2 years agoSo I've been talking about this webcomic project for a long time, and FINALLY something is happening with it!
So what the heck is Project Starlight anyway? Well, here's a little blurb (also seen on the form page)!
Business in outer space isn't booming...it's exploding in unexpected ways!
Rick Fox, a genius hacking prodigy, learns this firsthand when they start their own legitimate hacking business, "Hack 'N' Backslash". Too bad the businesses that contact them tend to be a little shady themselves...
Project Starlight is a comic inspired by 90's Saturday morning action cartoons and Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, a dash of anime in Cowboy Bebop and One Piece, and the characters and Team Prototype setting created by YarkWark. Intergalactic espionage, business-blasting blackhattery, and all matter of hi-tech hijinks await!
If it's something you're interested in doing, please fill out this form at the end of the journal!! I'm currently in Toronto for Furnal Equinox right now, but when I get back I'll be able to start going more in depth with anybody who might be interested in doing work on the comic! This is <b>100% A PAID GIG</b>, none of that "exposure as payment" bullcrap, though those hired on for the project will get exposure space as a bonus as I am more than willing to help promote you on top of getting money! How cool is that?!
To avoid artist burnout, I will only be hiring for the first chapter right now. However, if you're hired on and wish to continue doing other chapters, I will at least ask if you would like to continue with the next chapter!
-> => Fill out the form here to apply! <= <-
If you're not an artist or are not able to commit to the project, would you be willing to help me spread the word on this? This has been such a passion project for me over the last three and a half years and it would mean the world to me to get what help I can, especially popping up out of the woodwork with such a big thing as this out of nowhere!
Thank you so much, and keep a serious lookout for more Project Starlight related things in the near future!

Furnal Equinox 2024!
General | Posted 2 years agoHey hey! I'm REALLY looking forward to this! I finally got my passport the end of last year and this is going to be my first trip into Canada in over 20 years! I'm REALLY STOKED!!! I've never been to Toronto and I'm really stoked to see what it has to offer! :D
I also got my panel approved for it as well! More Cut Content in Retro Games again...and now the panel is an internationally approved panel! How cool is that?! I don't quite have a date or time yet, but just check yer social media and you'll hear allllllll about it!

Anthro New England 2024
General | Posted 2 years agoYO! I'm alive! I only update this thing for cons I suppose, so might as well just do that!
I'll be at ANE 2024 this year! Sadly, Gregg can't make it this time due to a scheduling conflict.
I'll also be doing my usual "This Was In MY Game?! Cut Content in Retro Games!" panel there! It'll be on Saturday from 1:00 - 2:30 in the Webster Room. Gonna slink in some new material for it! :D

Life Updates & BLFC 2023
General | Posted 2 years agoAlright hey, everyone for one of my semi-regular updates in the "I'm not dead" category!
I got a new job, so I'm finally quitting the place I spent nearly four years at and working at an actual print shop! Truth be told, the last couple of years I've been pretty miserable there, so a new change of pace is going to be really nice.
Also that promised art dump...yeah still happening TBD, but now I'll actually have the energy level to follow though. This job has worn me down harder than any of y'all could ever believe.
I also now have a BlueSky account! You can follow me there by clicking right here!. I've been enjoying it a lot. It's the low effort of Twitter without a psychotic man-child at the helm.
On another positive note, BLFC! I'm going to a con out west for the first time ever! Will I see any of you there? I got my Cut Content in Retro Games panel approved there too, so if you've never been come check it out! I'll make a post closer to the date.
I got a new job, so I'm finally quitting the place I spent nearly four years at and working at an actual print shop! Truth be told, the last couple of years I've been pretty miserable there, so a new change of pace is going to be really nice.

FWA 2023!
General | Posted 2 years agoHEY YEAH! I'll be there again! I had a super blast there last year and met so many great folks and caught up with many more!
Will YOU be one of the ones I see there? :D
ALSO COME TO MY PANEL! My Cut Content in Retro Games panel will be Sunday from 2:30 - 3:30! It'll have some new content in it, so even if you've been to it before, there'll be some new stuff to see! This is always one of my favorite panels to do. :3
(Also yes I am aware that I still have a crazy-ass backlog of stuff and I must post it, but WORK IS UNRELENTING! Though that may soon change... ouo )

Updates and ANE 2023
General | Posted 3 years agoSo I'm going to tackle the HUGE ASS BACKLOG as much as I can! I usually like writing a thoughtful comment on it, but I think due to time and my severe lack of energy, I'm going to mainly throw an artist credit and maybe a one-liner or two, just because I have so many and it's really intimidating at this point to go back, try to find the original post/tweet/etc. (if there even IS one), etc. etc. I hope that's not too much of a big deal, I don't want it to look like I don't care about these pics I got over the last art dump or something.
They probably won't be in any real particular order either. Just kinda whatever I manage to get thrown on there.
Y'all know me by now. Work has progressively ground me down to a fine paste, I'm always tired, etc. etc.
***
ALSO IN GOOD NEWS, I'm going back to ANE for the... *Counts on fingers* Sixth time! Geez, time really flies, don't it? I should be hearing about if I'm going to be doing my Cut Content in Retro Games panel within the next couple of weeks, but I look forward to being there regardless and seeing all your bright, shiny faces again! Who'm I gonna see? ouo

I'm also running my supremely awesome panel on Cut Content in Retro Games! If you click the link, you'll see where and when it is, so now you have no excuses not to be there! All the cool furs are going to it. :D
Hope to see y'all there! :3

I'll be honest.
General | Posted 3 years agoLife gets in the way of really being able to maintain this gallery in any meaningful way.
I'm still very much around and lurking, but a lot of my time gets spent being at my job and being a busy adult and has just left me with progressively less and less energy to actually do anything or maintain anything. I'm unsure if this is burnout, anything medical, etc. I've been lurking here, I never actually left, but mainly been around Twitter, even with its pitfalls and man-child owner because frankly? It's been real low-maintenance for me. I have a lot of guards on it to see only what I want, maybe update the profile, image, and background once in a while, and just tweet a lot. That's it.
The real reason I just haven't done a gallery dump or anything is because the prospect of uploading all the art now just seems like a daunting task to do it all one by one and create a meaningful description for things. I have stuff from a couple of years ago in a folder called "TO UPLOAD" that I haven't begun trying to sort things out. It's daunting. I have a lot of material to upload and show off, just...yeah.
With Twitter is what it is now, outside of DM's and an occasional chat room, I'm not really active anywhere and feel daunted by having to keep up with everyone at a bunch of different sites now.
I'm still working on Project Starlight as much as time and energy allows though. Slow going, but I've managed to plod along despite all my setbacks.
Bear with me. I'm here and things will, at some point, start to go back upwards again, but lemme tell you the last couple of years or so have been rough as hell overall. There's been good things but hoo, life has not been pulling its punches on the bad stuff.
I'm easy to get a hold of with a direct chat at least, but anything outside that is kind of a crap shoot at this moment.
S'all until next time I write something. Y'all are awesome and thanks for still kicking around as this account becomes covered in dust and cobwebs.

Bi-Yearly Update, I Suppose!
General | Posted 4 years agoHello y'all!
Honestly, I haven't been able to keep up with things nearly as much as I like, mainly 'cause work has been grinding me through the ground and with the tons of messages I have backlogged and stuff, it's been enormously tough to keep up.
I do see everything though and thank you all! I do have more stuff to share, I just...haven't gotten to it yet and I'm not sure when I will.
Aside from that, Project Starlight has been going! Things haven't been coming together nearly as fast as I'd like due to my physical exhaustion, but despite a lack of artwork and tangible things about it...there has been *plenty* going on behind the scenes there! I'd say the first draft is about half done for Arc 1 and I'm gonna try and really hit the ground running while I'm on my work vacation.
Also, June 1st is my birthday! I think at this rate I should just probably update with "old" for my age now. :P
I'm also far more active on Twitter, if you don't mind the work rants. Check me out and hang out with me there too!
Hope y'all are doing well, and I'll try to get to a thing dump sometime!

New Project & Updates
General | Posted 5 years agoHello, friends new and old!
So, the last month and a half hasn't exactly been the most kind, what with some surprise drama, hospitalized family, and the sudden passing of my old friend
yark-wark all really did a number on me. I've been taking a Twitter hiatus since almost a month ago and have been trying to hang around more in group chats and face my own personal demons. Not gonna lie, it's been tougher than all hell, but I'm still here, so I'm gonna be stronger for it. It's just going to take time, as all things do. I'm hoping to return to Twitter in 2021 ready to go mentally again.
In honor of Yark, since originally, Space Rick and a couple other characters started off as Team Prototype fan characters before I decided to go in my own direction my own thing as a worldbuilding exercise after we drifted apart, I'm taking the space setting and I've been working on a script over the last five weeks for a webcomic that I plan on having drawn and published called...
Project Starlight!
Consider this the first official announcement of it. The script is still in the very early stages and I'm not even thinking of hiring an artist until that script is solid and ready to go. As you've probably noticed over the last five weeks, I've been rebranding to using the Project Starlight alt of Rick Fox as my main, but starting this comic has really cemented things. Expect over the coming months to see some new characters show up and various other things. I'm currently shooting for October of 2021 as a completion deadline for the script, but of course, this all depends on how things go with it. I want this thing solid before I pass it off to an artist because I'm serious about this.
I'll be posting some updates about it here and there. I fully realize this is going to be a financial oof, but it's something I've never felt more sure of in my life to do, and I don't wanna just give up and shelf it like I have most of my other projects.
And with that, I take my leave again. Hope you've enjoyed the new art dump. :3

Lots of updates!
General | Posted 5 years agoFirst off...i have officially started to PIC DUMP! This all ranges from an eight month period because I overwork myself to death and spend most of my time distracting myself or just being completely exhausted. 5 pics down...expect at least another 17-18 pics on the way! Will be posting things in short bursts.

Second, my print shop has taken off a little bit...AND expanded! I now have three different types of personalized print offerings available!
1.) 5x7 mini prints, 2 for $10
2.) 8x10 framing prints, $15 each
3.) Custom POSTERS from 16 x 20 - 18 x 24, $45 each!
Fill out my form here for your own!: https://forms.gle/btcJSahiqqqimzjdA

Third, I have FINALLY managed to complete my NES collection after collecting for literally 30 YEARS. While I mainly focused on commercially released games that you could either buy in a store or rent back in the day, that's 754 titles all in a neat shelf. I may not have Stadium Events or Nintendo World Championships (maybe when I win the lottery or something...), but I -do- own a couple of very, very rare actual-factual NES Prototype carts in their place! I'm way more interested in being a gaming historian so I'm more than happy to have these two.
But yeah, all the time and money I could've spent on getting a fursuit or more art...I spent on this thing. And I'm one of the rare few to have ever accomplished this and...my god the excitement is overwhelming. As of right now, I'm still waiting for the last five games to arrive in the mail so they're not in my grubby mitts yet, but THEY SOON WILL!
Can someone legit let me know if there's any other furs who actually have a complete set of NES games? Am I actually the only one to have ever accomplished this in the fandom!?

That's all for now! Wow, what a long journal! I didn't even know I had it in me. EXCUSE ME WHILE I GO INTO A COMA AGAIN :D

Ongoing Yard Sale!
General | Posted 5 years agoYeah I'm going to get around to uploading things I swear. I have stuff ready to go! Just...gonna do it in parts and with the way I've been working my ass off and doing other things...yeah. Everything I do in my off time just feels like a complete mind-numbing slog. x.o
HOWEVER I'M FORCING MYSELF TO CLEAN! Which brings me to this! I'm gonna start selling some stuff that I no longer want. Keep an eye out! I'll be updating this as I clean. All prices are PWYW (but include shipping in your offer!)
ONGOING YARD SALE!!! <-- Click this here because you know you wanna!
The main idea is that I want to get rid of stuff that I don't use. Any extra money that is not eaten up by shipping and shipping costs is going to be put to finishing my NES collection, which is only 27 games away from being done. :3
