I'll be doing two retrogaming-based panels, "Nazo! Puzzle Games on the NES!" and "This was in MY game?! Buried Content in Video Games!" from 3:00 - 4:30 on Friday and Saturday, respectively. You may also see me performing at ANE's Got Talent!

Please note that my hearing is really, really strange. if I don't seem to hear you, it is TOTALLY okay to tap me on the shoulder or some other typical touching gesture thing to get my attention if hollering "Rick!" does not suffice and I seem to ignore you in person. I'll feel really bad if you tell me you hollered, but I didn't respond! Please take the extra step to get my attention if you see me!
Where will you be most of the time during the day/s?
I always meander the dealer's den, artist's alley, and gaming rooms (I'm guaranteed to be at the Rock Band setup if there is one at several points during the con). I also meander around the con but don't usually go outside unless I have to.

Probably whatever food truck comes unless I get to go with someone for food. I really wanna this year. :<

I've still got stuff from FWA to post up (and some other random stuff as well). However, I haven't gotten all the OK's yet to post the artwork, so I'm going to post up all the ones I remember getting the OK's from and wait for the rest!
If you're someone I got a commission from and I -didn't- ask you (and thought I did), please let me know and I'd be glad to take it down!
I'll try to get around to it soon. Work's been a killer and I almost had to go for literally three weeks straight had I not taken the day off I did. @___@

Midwest FurFest this year was a BLAST! I kinda gushed all over Twitter a couple of months ago about it, but in short, it was really, really awesome and I'm so glad I got to go and meet up with/catch up with everybody that I did. It really brought the magic of going to conventions again out for me and it was...it was just awesome. <3
SO ANYHOO!
You probably noticed I posted a small backlog. I got a few more commissions to come over the next few months so I'm excitedly awaiting those! I've also got a bit of a con schedule this coming year, including a surprise trip to FWA this year which is confirmed! STOKAGE! <3
Without further ado...2019 CURRENT CON SCHEDULE!

4.) Furry Weekend Atlanta {Atlanta, GA} (May)

Pretty much everything up to August is confirmed at this point! I'd like to do a couple more cons at the end of the year, finances and situations permitting. Let's take it as it comes and see what happens, LET'S DO THIS!

So as many of you don't know, I actually used to really, really do a ton of poetry back some years ago. I haven't been able to keep up with it due to life, but I write every now and again. They're pretty much free verse poetry, but a lot of thought has been put into them.
I have a couple chapbooks I still have copies of from way back before joining the fandom that I need to get rid of! I'm doing a PWYW thing for them, but am asking $1 per book minimum just to cover shipping. I'll even sign it and throw in a little teeny surprise. :)

Y'all know how I roll. Work keeps me busy and then I'm exhausted as hell all the time. I also am working my way out of the last of a cold that I got almost a month ago now. This has not helped anything. @_@
I still have more art dump stuff to do! Gotta ask permission for one and then the hard part is just scrounging what I have left of anything in order to post. I think it's just the feeling of being very, very tired. Dunno if laziness, exhaustion, or something else, but it is what it is!

I'm also going to be attending MFF this year. I'm heavily looking forward to this, as it's my first BIG fur con! Yeah, I know Anthrocon is around the corner, but I can't go this year to that one. Have a good time at that one for me!

General | Posted 8 years agoSo it's been a few months since I last posted. I do have some things to post but it's going to be in one big dump that I'm just gonna post up all at once, so there's going to be a bunch of Halloween stuff past Halloween.
In the meantime, here's what's been keeping me preoccupied:
1.) WORK
The number one thing that always does. Granted it's different right now because I just put in my two week's notice at a job I used to like but now have come to loathe, and got a position closer to home AND for more pay...AND to put me back on the management track I was originally on in the first place! Not sure how it's going to go yet, but I'll be starting it after the 15th.
2.) Car
Been having to deal with issues on that for the last few weeks and it's been stressing me out. THANK YOU SO MUCH to those who helped with the first set of car repairs. Now I've got my second batch of car repairs like, two weeks after and having to sink close to $600 into repair costs is really not helping free up time to do cool things. Much less get commissions or anything of the like.
3.) Medical Junk
I won't go into detail, but chronic stomach issues have been getting worse and I've been trying to fit in free time and stuff to get this resolved and find out what can be done -to- resolve it. It's...getting on track slowly. Still gotta make a couple calls in the meantime.

PWYW Traditional Lineart Flat Color Commissions!

If you have lineart of something you want me to color, I'll do it for you...traditionally with markers!
Each commission will be re-printed on 110 lb. cardstock 8.5 x 11 (the size of a regular piece of paper) and colored traditionally with markers. Later on I may buy some 11x17 cardstock to do larger images on. I will do my best to match colors as closely as I can. And since these are traditional, you have the option of having these mailed to you afterwards!
What I Need
1.) The lineart you want me to color! As high quality as possible.
This will avoid having fuzzy lines on the printed version and will look better overall.
2.) Color references!
I will match colors to the best of my ability, so please provide color references! If you don't have any color references, descriptions are fine, but keep in mind I will be making my best guess.
Rules
1.) I need permission from the artist of the lineart.
No exceptions. I need to know who the artist is and permission from them to do this. I have been around artists for years. I highly respect the amount of hard work that goes into art. If I do not get permission, the commission does not go. If you are the one who drew it, we're all fine and dandy then.
If I discover I have been deceived, your commission will be cancelled and there will be no refunds.
2.) No NSFW lineart or references
I have to print these out at copy centers, not my home printer. The cardstock is too heavy for a home printer! I also squick easily. Save me the trouble on both ends.
3.) Give me a little time
I work a full time job and am in the middle of some major life changes. You won't have to wait FOREVER for your commission, but it's highly likely it won't be done in the next day or two either. Once I finish it, I'll scan it and post it here though at the very least!

General | Posted 9 years agoSo it's been a bit since the con. I've been sick and hella busy with work (and trying to get a rest in!), so I haven't had a whole bunch of time to really talk much about the convention.
In short, my first fur con was a GREAT time! I was still kind of shy in a way, as I don't really know how to best approach people at these cons, but I still did my best anyway, despite me being out of my element! I didn't fursuit, but I did dress up as a humanized version of my 'sona! A friend even made me ears and a tail to go with it, which was awesome! I also wore my "Isabelle is my waifu" T-Shirt to fit in with the general theme.
A cartoon fox being a human dressing as a cartoon fox? So many levels of ridiculousness! Also, five fingered hands are for suckers and are hard to get used to. :P
I met a lot of really cool people there, and went to my favorite ramen shop with
Aquacoon, 
not-fun and his hubby Alph. We all loved the hell out of it (especially me because I'm a damned sucker for that restaurant). I also got to meet up with 
Kazee again too and have a chat and talk shop! That was a good time too.
I did miss a lot of people though, mostly because I was only there for one day (due to work limitations). NEXT YEAR, if I only go for one day, I'm gonna make it a Saturday so I make sure I miss no one!
I'd be more than willing to go back next year if things permit! My financial situation right now is a little bit shot due to some surprise bills and life junk, but if things get better there's a small chance I may hit Furpoc too. We'll just have to see where things go. :3

I tend to meander around the artist's alley or dealer's room/den (or if they're the same, just that area!), and if there's a game room I'll wander there, but otherwise I roam around here, there, and everywhere.
That is, after I get done waiting in the long line to get in. :P

Life has been very, very hectic for me, what with my new promotion and all (which I start TOMORROW, of all things!) so i haven't had a whole lot to say as far as how life goes.
I have, however, still have that ninja costume alt, and I kinda wanna dabble into a penguin alt too for fun. No further art of either yet, but I'll commission as my budget allows.
Also, hey! I'm gonna stop into Anthro New England next month for a day too! I"ll post the meme when it gets a little closer. I haven't pre-reg'd yet, but I'm not going to be able to attend the whole con unfortunately.
