pseudo yearly hi guys. Uh, so I work in a tattoo shop atm and am taking some time off from university. I have been having some pretty wild times the past few years, but uhh hi guys!
I have been doing an apprenticeship at a shop and my bfa in photography, it wasn't til recently that I've gotten to do some drawing chops things. so uh, what's up with you gaiiiis.

So uh, I haven't logged in here in a dogs' age and feel really weird about that. I have more or less stopped drawing animal-people but still kind of miss it but I am sort of tired of that stigma so I rather just draw naked chicks and go to school.

But I still miss some of you!

Finally I'll be able to breath

Okay guys, so I have recently gotten a macbook and gone up to CS4. However, now I cannot save any images to web and have them be accurate to how I've done them.

Like for example before I would just 'save as' and things would be fine. But now things look really different(read: crap) when I upload them on something. The colours seem very muted and chunky, it loses all smoothness and auuuugh. I have no idea what is going wrong, this is really important that I get some help on this. so is anyone familiar with this sort of problem I reallllllly need some input. :c

So anyone who has been talking to me lately knows that I am pretty much in the biggest bout of anxiety I've ever had, all the schools I'm applying to I don't know if I can get into(art quality wise, my marks are fair). Art isn't coming and I need to finish my portfolio in at MAXIUM a little under a month.

-breaaaaaaaaaathes- Anyone with experience with this sort of thing, tips? Hints? What?

I'll probably be pretty light on the fur for the next month at least, considering I really need to focus on this.

I'm trying to relax and do it gradually but efficiently, but my confidence has me in a wrap. I am not a very confident artist(who is?), but I really. really. want to get into school. I have no other options really and I have to do it. It's just something I have to.

I've decided that along side with applying for NSCAD I'm going to also apply to Emily Carr in Vancouver, I am really worried that I won't get in, however my chances are looking better and better with going to NSCAD if I can't get into Emily Carr

So it's snowing finally! We got a good half a foot last night, now things are really starting to feel like the Christmas season! Exxxxcceeellllent. (even though retail at christmas, oh gooddd. ouch. my life.)

I didn't get as much done as I wanted yesturday but that's because I got distracted by shopping and GM'ing my online tabletop thing. And my hand hurt really bad.

So I'm in a huge emotional rut right now, but I'm producing art out the wazoo, however, I have a lot of school work and work right now so I won't have anything finished for the next few days, probably until after the weekend or sometime during the weekend. I'm really sorry to the people that I've been ignoring a lot lately, when I do talk to people it seems like all I do is vent or act bummed out so I'm trying to do that a minimal amount.

Either way, I'm currently inprogress of a couple things with  prawst 's anteater girl, and maybe one of his snakey. I feel like such a loser because I love his characters so much. I'm also in progress of a Sneakers and  corbinbusker 's character chilling out together as well, on top of some other 'fine arts' stuff that most of you guys aren't interested in.

Either way, I'm trying to stay productive to keep morale up, off to work!

So I started back into my training jazz, I used to be rather athletic but in the past 8 months I've really let my exercise go. It's not for weight reasons because, well, I don't gain weight, but oh my gosh I miss being in shape! I used to swim competitively, and I did gymnastics, then I used to work out all the time, and now I do nothing; so this morning I got up did a good 1.5km, a good chunk of sit ups and push ups, and lordie day, my asthma was like sdkrfjssssssssk.

I need to get back into super athlete Sneakers! Rrrrrrrrr

Anyhow, so today I was going to do a bunch of art and commission jazz, but for one reason or another my mojo was so off, I didn't want to attempt anything today in risk of assing it. Also, I seem to be decent with couples commissions which makes me a tad sad considering I'm so very lonely and single right now. It's like,"GOD DAMNIT I HATE YOUUUU" (but not really)

Either way, this is just an update to let y'all know I'm here, also I am totally still open for commission.

Also, omfffffgggg home made iced green tea is life.

I have not been drawing at all due to lack of motivation, and the fact I work a lot. Any time not spent at work is spent A) drunk B) out with friends C) stressing. So so so sorry that I've been lame lately. But I'm trying to save for 'starting my life' next year(university, and if I end up getting into that volunteer program, it would sit in a savings account until the next year, I can't save up money if I'm doing the volunteer thing so it's the same thing), christmas things, art supplies, just, blargh.

So I would have some freeish time in the next little while before my christmas hours pick up again. Because they like to cut my hours around this time of the year.
