Update again.
General | Posted 11 years agoUhhh.....my life.
It's been going.
I'm 27 now as of sep. 28th. yaay. anyway.
Disability gave me an appointment on the 29th with their doctor to evaluate me. That seemed to go well. We'll see the results.
The week before I fell down my stairs to the deck and that was painful. Gotta remember to bring my cane everywhere.
I donated plasma a few times to try to pay the bills but I'm terrified to go back. My last visit was terrifying. The nurse I got had the motto of "we stick you once but can wiggle it around as much as we want." And she did. With gusto! She punctured both sides of the vein on the first thrust in then just kept wiggling it back and fourth in the muscle. She'd pop back into the vein on occasion, get a spurt of blood, then wiggle it out of the vein and into the muscle again. When I started making comments about the pain her reply was a curt, "this isn't for everyone you know." and she left with me on the slowest setting (she had finally gotten into the vein at the point.) An hour and forty minutes later the machine stops again. The previous nurse does her best to avoid me and not make eye contact. Another nurse, a pleasant pregnant woman, comes up to me to see what the trouble is. "She wiggles!" shouted the previous nurse to my current one. (If you wiggle a needle in my muscle and tear my vein apart with it, yes, I will start to wiggle.) The pregnant woman tried to adjust the needle once, twic-yeah lets get this out of you and try the other. The other arm was a one stick and done. She was awesome.
It took 4 days for the arm that got stuck once to heal. It took two and a half weeks for the bruise to go away from the arm the needle was wiggled in. Then the site was tender for another half week after that. I know I should go back but I just can't convince myself the $35 each time is worth it.
Right now my focus is on paying bills.
And convincing myself that things will get better.

Has anyone else had trouble with buying a FA BANNER?
General | Posted 11 years agoTwo weeks ago I requested buying banner space. one week ago they got back to me (they had to resize my banner, I missed the size by 10 pixels) and asked if the resize would be acceptable. I replied within 5 minutes that it was great and I needed the name to send the payment to via paypal. They still haven't gotten back to me.
The advertisement info says that it will take UP TO 3 days for a reply. Three days ago I sent a comment via advertisement comment section explaining the situation.
I have still not received a reply back.
Has anyone else had this trouble?
About a year ago it took someone 5 days to reply. I'm at the 2 week mark this time.
It's frustrating when I'm hopeing to....you know.....pay my utility bills this month so my electricity doesn't get shut off. -_-

No job means unlimited time for art~! COMMISSIONS OPEN
General | Posted 11 years agoYep, no job due to this car crash (yaaaay back injury! Xp ) so I now have nothing but time for commissions. And freebies! C:
Oh Life, remember me? Please stop using me as your toilet.
General | Posted 11 years agoSo. Yeah. So much has happened. A 2nd car accident, depression, lost my art confidence (i still have slight panic attacks thinking about how upset all of you must be but I have to face this issue. You all deserve better then this silence.), lost the finished badges, lost my job (due to not medically being able to work), nearly lost my wife (things are rocky but it's situational and we'll *hopefully* get through it), and nearly did a terrible thing if friends and family didn't save me. I'm working through my issues and trying to look on the bright side. Which is: I have unlimited time for art. There are no excuses and (minus like two people) everyone's art is finished plus a few bonus badges. I'm sorry and please forgive me everyone. Hopefully this will the the last time I have to write this.
P.s. I am trying to go through my inbox and get everyone's address. If your address has changed please send it to me. If not, I will contact everyone to make sure their address is correct before sending. C:

new pony tumblr
General | Posted 12 years agoHad a idea for a pony tumblr and had to try it out. Updates should be at least once a week because the art is a bit simplistic. C:
Its the story of one small ponies adventures in a very large city.

Life, could you stop kicking me in the balls please?
General | Posted 12 years agoLast night We came home from dinner and my wife had a feeling about Satan (Satan is our Ferret) when we pulled the car into the parking space. She jumped out, rushed to the house and found Satan lying limp (but stiff limbed) in front of his cage. He blinked occationally but was unresponsive to everything else. A Google search said it looks like insulinoma and I should pump sugar into him and rush him to a Vet. I was able to get him to lick maybe 1/4tsp of sugar paste (couldn't put between cheeks and jaw like websites said because his jaw was locked to tight. I'm glad he licked a bit). We rushed to an after hours vet 30 min away (the only one open) and on the car ride he started coming back. He seemed rather confused and kept swinging his head around. By the time we got to the Vet he was moving his upper half but back legs still wouldn't work. Vet started tests and this morning the results were still inconclusive. His heart is enlarged and there's some type of mass in his abdomen but it's not a blockage or insulinoma or some other diseases. More tests will be done today. Hoping for the best. And a quick find/treatment for the issue. Bill is already at $1,600 and I'm thankful the vet works with a company for payment options.
updates! tl:dr i am so sorry!
General | Posted 12 years agoI am so so so sorry everyone! I swear I am not ignoring you. These past few weeks have gone by in a blur. First I'm Babysitting two finicky cats (which brings the space total to 4 cats, 2 humans and 1 Ferret in less then 500 sq ft @-@ ) then the badges that need to be glued have a 24 HR cure time with multiple gluing steps (silly me thinking it's like reg glue and only needed 4 hrs) now my wife's brother is coming back on leave from the army and we haven't seen him in atleast 2 years. So the missus and I are taking the entirety of next week off work to drive a state away to her parents house to visit said brother.exciting but this week has been/is crammed so full I feel like I'm going to drop. Last night I got the mist sleep I have in a week and even that was interrupted by a defiant cat demanding to go back home by peeing in the middle of te living room floor. Ugh!
Anyway, I just wanted to tell everyone I'm crazy sorry for being late on your badges and please forgive me. As soon as glue dries and life settles down (I'm praying after next week and the brother visit) I'll be able to get everyone's badges sent.
Again, I am so mathing sorry. T-T
At least my badges are cheap, right?

My wife. I love her. The goof.
General | Posted 13 years agoOut of nowhere she's demanding a cat with octopus tentacle whiskers so she can make and octopussy fursona.
That is the weirdest most wonderful thing I have ever heard of.
I just wanted to share.
k.
I'm done now.

General | Posted 13 years agoYesterday my dear beebat friend
cylindricalperv visited me and gave me the gift of a new sketchbook! He even wrote in the front to page so I don't have to! (i always worry that i'll "ruin" the book by drawing something subpar on the first page) it's the nicest sketchbook ii've ever owned! Thick binding, hard cover and amazingly white pages.
not only is he the nicest person ever but he has awesome art. Everyone should buy some from him.
Thanks again for the amazing gift! <3
