You will be able to find me over at  AnachronicRodent Originally this account was for artwork of my WoD Ratkin character, but I might as well use it as its the account name I use more often. TheRatkinTwitch has been a name I have used in places since 2001 and just doesn't really apply to me. Why? Well the name was supposed to be TheRatkinTwitcher, but the name was too long. It worked fine as a shortned thing, but League of Legends kinda killed it. People constantly go "Oh Twitch! Like Lol? I love League!"

I really haet league and they kinda killed the the screen name for me.

Sorry for not being all that active. I've been busy with school, work and life. I have been helping out my friend make some RPGs, which hopefully one of which you may see a kick-starter for soon!

Tonight Reggles passed away. He was exploring on top of his cage, leapt over to the shelf a few inches away have a yogie, then on returning to his cage he curled up and passed away. I don't know what happened that caused it, but at least he got one of his favorite treats before he died.

I will miss you Reggles, you were one of the most adorable rats I've ever had, and up there with one of the sweetest.

I now worry for Bennigan since he did not take the death of his other brother a few months ago very well. I will have to make sure to give him super amounts of attention to keep him cheered up.

How can you say no to a game where you play rats who are trying to take over the world. Crazy mutations, and hijinks abound!

I have gotten 3 new ratties. There are two blaze, and a Pew and they are adorable. I will take some pictures later once they get used to their new home

Its only been two months, but things seem so quiet without them. My shoulder is very cold without a rat perched on it.

My rat Paul seems to have an extreme love for hoodies and gets angry at me if I don't wear one. This would make sense if it was the hood he slept in, but no its just sleeping inside on my belly. He rarely does it if I am wearing any other type of shirt or jacket.

He sure is an oddball rat, but I love him!

So in the past 7+ years I haven't lived in the same place for more than a year. Why? Well while money has been hard, I do have a job. The issue is the places. I've had Landlords decide to rent to family instead, or the owners wanting to sell the place or turn the place into a single family and so on. So once again I am in that situation. The place I am in is being sold. You would think that renting a place from family would work out, but its one of the worst ideas you can do.

Is it so bad to want stability? The other issue being that I can only afford stuff where I get roomates or really small places. I am burned out on roomates, Its hard to get ones who pay their share and I don't want to have to cover other people's shares or the cost of utilites in multi-bedroom houses. The other issue is if apartments of split familiies is I want a place friends can come and hang, but we usually play board games and the like at night but then the other renters complain that we cause noise.

After having forgotten to sleep, I got up to get something to drink. As I stand I feel something poke my foot, I thought maybe I stepped on a small rock. I don't see anything there and I foot didn't hurt anymore so I thought nothing of it.. until a few steps more. Why did it still hurt? Hobbling back to my room I decide to look at my foot and find a metal disk flush with the skin. Well that was odd, maybe I should pull on it. At least the whole ordeal has made me tired so now I shall sleep, I am too tired to go get a bandage, so hopefully some ducktape will do.

I did not expect Minnesota to be this hot and muggy when I moved up here. It gets brutal. At least I have a nice cool basement to go in.

In other words, been trying to find a job, that has not been going well, and also been trying to find stuff to do in the area. Since I do not really know anyone to ask, that has also not going well.

Ah well, it is what it is.

My friends and I have been looking for a place with jobs and that has brought us to Minnesota. It is great to be back near a city again. Its not Massachussets, but I am loving it so far.

Found myself a nice place about 20 minutes in traffic to the middle of downtown Minneapolis, its about 4-5 bedroom with a backyard and garage. Very nice. I am hoping my friends end up with jobs otherwise they move out and I'm stuck with paying for the place myself.

Still, not too bad, can always try and find more roomates.

I already love the stuff here, but gotta find what other entertaining stuff is about to go see and do.

As of late I have been working on Salem-By-Night. This is a Original World of Darkness place on Furcadia. Alot of people give Furcadia a lot of flak from what I have seen.

What people may not know is just how versatile it is when it comes to playing tabletop games online. It allows for much larger posts, which AIM and other IM clients tend to limit. Its got a very well made dice algorithm. On top of that its a game which uses graphics. While they are not your fancy Second Life and other things, its simple enough for creating something for a game. Creating the "patches" or artwork for the game is a lot easier than dealing with full 3d environments and as such its simplicity allows it to work on almost any computer no matter its hardware. Its for Windows, but they do have a mac Client that lets you connect, and I even hear there are ways to get it on an iphone.

So what myself and a few others have going is a World of Darkness place, that has stuck with what we prefer of the Original setting: Werewolf: The Apocalypse, Vampire: The Masquerade, Mage: The Ascension, Hunter: The Reckoning, Wraith: The Oblivion, Changeling: The Dreaming and all that. The way we have it set up is there are Story Tellers for each group, and like a normal game plots are run. Yet since its one big community, on times when a story teller is not able to get on (Think of it as if between Sessions), people can still RP with each other. Often then the players with the Ok of an ST (or done with a AST) they can run plots.

I've put alot of effort into this, and perhaps this might catch the attention of people that would be interested in giving it a look.

Also with Furcadia, I have a place that is dedicated just to the running of your standard session style tabletop games. I had been a bit too busy in the past, but I finally have time to focus fully on both these places.

I've had this account for a bit, but have yet to put anything on it. I finally have a bit of free time so I might finally get back to trying to work on drawing. We will see how things go.
