The Truth About The "Creative Differences"

I just wanna take a minute to clear some things up about The Rejects. Over the past couple months, the project’s been on hiatus. I want to make it clear that those initial delays were a mutual decision, based on personal stuff that made it hard to keep going like we originally planned. We thought it might just be a short pause, but, it’s obvious that picking it back up right now just isn’t really doable.
I also want to be really clear: any talk of “creative differences” That’s not it. Not even close. Everyone involved cared deeply about the comic, shared the same vision, was excited for what was to come, and there was never a falling out over creative stuff. This pause, it’s about stepping back, taking care of ourselves, and dealing with real-life things.
Over the last couple of months, there were some communication hiccups that made collaboration tricky. I take responsibility for my part, and I’ve been trying to handle things quietly, respectfully, you know, the right way behind the scenes. I really hate that it had to go down like this, and I truly wish it could’ve gone smoother.
This isn’t about blaming anyone, and it’s not about airing anyone’s private business. I just want to give a little clarity to the fans, friends, and people who’ve supported the project. My hope is that, once the dust settles, everyone involved can reach some kind of understanding. I can’t promise how or when that will happen, but I’m doing my best to make it right. Even though this chapter is paused, my respect and care for the people I worked with hasn’t changed. My hope is that a resolution can be found, so that we can all move forward, grow, create, and eventually make something good out of this.
And to all of you who’ve been sticking with us, thank you. Seriously. You guys mean the world. During this pause, remember to take care of yourselves, alright? Be kind to your brain, your heart, and more so, yourself. Sometimes you’ve gotta hit pause before you can hit play again
