Just wanting to wish everyone a Happy New Year!

Well, officially my birthday again. Another candle on the cake and a few warning beeps from the smoke alarm.

Had a nice bit of ice come through here yesterday, ice all over the roads but luckily I didn't have anywhere to go. Not much for the party scene, just gonna spend some time with a few friends doing what we love, gaming. Got early gift of the card game Fluxx that I'm gonna take to our weekly meet.

Course the best gift would be my sexy husky in my bed waiting for me when I get home! *winks and pokes  Xephier playfully*

*chuckles* I am an avid gamer of both videogames and tabletop games. Last Friday my tabletop group made characters for a system I've never done before. Champions 4th Edition. The way our friend is running it we are all skilled humans in the game. No powers at character creation. Then he takes a page from the Wildcards universe and makes us draw a card to see what power we get.

Well, I decided for my skilled human I would make a cop. Spent all my points got lots of crime detective skills. Then drew my card, an Ace of Clubs. At which point the GM takes my sheet and starts adding in all the extras where I cant see. Comes back and hands me just my character sheet, but an extra one. For my dragon. My 'power' is that I was called out to the wilderness where I found a dragonlair [or dragonaire?] formed a bond with said dragon, got armor made of its scales, and get to use its dragon hoard.

I'm a cop with a dragon..... O_o Still trying to figure out how that will work out.
Now to come up with a name. I was thinking 'Chris Ryder' and no, as public servant I didn't go with a secret identity. So I was thinking a name that could also be used as my Code name. since I ride a dragon, Ryder/Rider. Might buy me a motorcycle in game to add to that effect. hehe.

But I'm open to suggestions! Dragonman doesn't roll off the tongue like batman.

Hope none of you were using it, recent update has it labling system files and even itself as a trojan. Trying to save what I can as we speak.

Got back from the con today, had a really good time. Hoping to go next year and meet a whole lot of new furs in the ..flesh... so to speak. Found some got some swag, a badge, comics, one print, and commission coming later. Spent most of my money on furoticon cards and tornament though. Had fun with it though.

But back home, bit of con crud in my throat and nose, seems like a mild case though. But now the sad news.
Me and my roomie got home to find our dog missing, apparently he got into a fight while we were gone and lost in the worst way. {:( Rest in piece Russel.

Well, the year is almost over once again and I'm now another year older. Time just seems to be slipping by faster and faster. Been a pretty blah year, nothing really big happened in my life, just some awesome video games. Though I have met a nice girl, enjoy chatting and gaming with her online. *pokes Miora and smiles*

Planning to go to Furry Fiesta with friends, anyone I know going to be there as well? Heh, havent been to a furry con since Confurence 10 many a years ago....

Really starting to get annoyed by this FA update. The thumbnails are jumping out of their boxes and are all over the place, cant even see the names at the bottom of them. And the most annoying part, the drop down boxes for the menus, show up 'behind' the banners and ads so I cant get to any of the support features to try and find a fix for it. >_< Can anyone help?

Anyone else playing this game on PS3? I started up a group, 'Wolf Pack Fur' if anyone wants to join me.

Havent posted anything in a long time, but thought I would tell this tale.

Last saturday night I became the bane of some poor high school kids existence. Got a call about a suspisious car on the grounds of the campus I'm currently working at. When I arrived the caller pointed it out to me, it was mostly hiden behind some buildings of a little league baseball field. On approaching the car in my patrol car I noticed the windows were steamed up. I pull up beside them and turned on my side spotlight on the back window. Sure enough, I could see alot of flesh colored frantic movement behind the foged glass. I just backed off then and let the couple get dressed and drive off.

Now I cant help but wonder... how bad was my timing? Did they at least get to enjoy themselves first? *chuckles*

Just had a bad accident a few hours ago. Some a-hole ran a red light and hit my little car in the side of the trunk. The entire contents of my trunk got sprayed across three lanes traffic and the median. The biggest part of this being my entire collection of Magic cards.... all of them... all over the road, with people just casually driving over them. even the ones that landed in the median arnt much better since it rained this morn. But the really bad part, the guy says he had the green light. Grrrrrrrr, the police should take with a grain of salt since he spun my car for a 3/4 turn and ended up a block away on the other side of the highway in oncoming traffic. speed limit for that area, 40, his speed, a hell of a lot more.

*sighs* sorry, venting alittle, coming down off the adrinallen I guess. I dont even remember what happened after pulling out at the green light, next thing I knew I was facing the wrong way and had a white pillow next to my head. (airbag)

well, back in TX with my mom. her treatment went well yesterday and she seems to be doing well. Hopefully she will recover some of what she lost now. And finally got internet back today! yay! no more dial up! =D gah, 600 submissions to go through! well, time for porn! ^_^

Well, begining of september I will be loading up a Uhaul and going back to TX. Moving back in with my mom to take care of her. Its been hard on her after my step-father passed away its been hard for her to take care of herself with her MS. There was one of my neices living with her but mom sorta kick her out and back to my sister. Couldnt handle looking after a 14yr old girl anymore. But the main reason I'm moving back, found out she is going in for laser surgery on a brain tumor on the 19th of this month, something she waited till the begining of this month to tell me. >_< So, Goodbye Kansas City, and hello San Angelo.....again. :P

well, if any of you had read my post the other day about my stepfather you know he was fighting cancer. He passed away yesterday, so now I'm making arangements to fly home to TX. Probably wont be around much for the next while as I find out how this will affect me since I might have to move back to TX to take care of mom.

well, called up my parents today. My step-father is doing better, they are back home and he is able to eat again though he cant get around very well. Hospice is helping them with things like picking up meds since my mom has Multiple Sclerosis and cant move so well herself. That bit of news took alot of my stress away, knowing there is someone there to help them right now.

So my day started good, but then I went to work and found out one of the residents in the apartment building I work at as front door security commitied suicide. Just a couple of hours before I showed up he jumped from the 12th floor into the hollow center of the building. At least I didnt have to see the body... just the pool of blood and little bits.... >_< gah, what a day.....

Just got a call from my mom yesterday, my step-father's condition is getting worse. He has bone cancer, we've known for a while and he was responding well to treatment till now. He has been in the hospital for the past week because of the pain she told me and they are about to start a new radiation treatment. I hope it helps him, he was doing so well before.
I pray that he pulls through this.

Just got back from movie and dinner with my roomie for b-day. Heh, Golden compass was very interesting. Hmmm, what to say about it without spoiling anything... The tech of the world was intersting and the spirit animals were cool. Course, I can just say animals since they also come in insect forms as well. But a nice movie to watch and I cant wait for the next part... yes, its not a complete story in the first movie. Much more to come. ^_^

Never really thought about commenting on the v-games I play but I was going through Mass Effect for the second time and working on the character conversations more closely when something got said that really got my attention. hehe.

But first off, its a great game. ^_^ Lotsa fun, reminds me of KOTOR but with better everthing! A nice big universe for you to run around in, fleshed out in lots of details, even goes into details of the different alien biology... which brings me to the funny conversation I found.

Was talking to a party member that use to be a police officer. Was talking about this one case he was on involving cloned organs. Said you could find anything on the black market, taurin liver, human lung, Krogan testical. then your char asks if that last one was true.

He confirms and says the krogan get them to try and help their virility. Its an in demand item, one for 10,000 so 40,000 for a full set.....
Thats the point when I went OMG and started laughting. Cause right at that moment my mind went to all that furry art I've seen with multi orbed chars. Wonder if someone took a page from us. hehe. but if the males have 4... how many do the female have? heh, explains the large breeding prob they use to have. :P

Well, I got the orange box.... 'the cake is a lie, the cake is a lie, the cake is a lie' *shakes those thoughts out of hir head* and well, I find myself with an extra copy of HF2 and HF2:ep1 that I'm not sure what to do with. so I was thinking, any gamer/artists out there want to trade a commission for them? ^_^

well, since it seems most furs are on this game and with the overtime I can afford it again I'm back on. *grumbles at stupid anti-virus which thinks patches are trojans*

So, any good yiffy guilds out there? hehe

I keep hearing about all the people here that play WoW, but does anyone play Auto Assault? Now I know how good WoW is, I played it before then had to drop it when bills got abit bad. picked AA up as a beta tester and liked it alot so thats what I've been sticking to. but I dont know of any other furs that play it.

Ok, dont know how many of you are big zelda fans like I am, but this game kicks so much ass. the look of it is awsome, the play is much like previous games which makes it easy to get use to. But the best part, is being the wolf. hehe running around, trailing sents, digging up things, biting enemys, and howling out the classic ornica of time tunes. I've only completed the first part and I have so much to go. very awsome game, glad they didnt limit it to the Wii, played the demo... alittle too hard to do with the remote, so had to wait for gamecube version.
