General | Posted 7 years agoI thought to help out future commissioners i would put out what is the current default or standard of a fullsuit here at FursuitParade! This will be updated as standard features or methods of design change along with commission status. Currently OPEN

Fullsuit with out padding Standard
-Follow me eyes
-Static jaw
-basic plush teeth and tongue
-separate hands and feet
-attached tail
Fullsuit with padding Standard
-Follow me eyes
-Static jaw
-basic plush teeth and tongue
-separate hands and feet
-attached tail
-separate padding inserts
Alternative options that can be requested(with pros and cons)
-Sewn in padding(easier to get on and off but harder to wash and dry)
-detached tail (belt needed, longer to get on but makes partial suiting an option and gives extra support)
-Attached hands or feet(no partial option but makes a more seamless suit look)
-minky/vinyl/other fabric parts(teeth or tongue for example, down to preference)

*Surprise fullsuit or partial(given 1 or 2 things to go on and the rest is a surprise!)
*Plushie style fullsuit
*Kemono style fullsuit
*fullsuit with extreme body shape(such as large padded arms, unusual leg shape padding, drop croth etc.)

How Commissions Work: From Payment to Product

How Commissions Work
❤Commissions are currently set up with 2 to be completed a month. This is a rough time frame and 3 might be fit in if i just so happen to have finished others faster allowing for another to be bumped up. If your completion month gets moved forward you will be notified, i don't expect having to move any back farther but if it would you will be notified as soon as i'm aware of this needed change.
❤I will contact you 1-2 weeks before the start of your completion month to notify you on your suit being in my dedicated work spot.
(Work still may be done on your suit periodically while working on others and you will be sent updates via email.)
❤I understand waiting on your suit to be worked on can be anxious so i offer sending WIP of other suits i'm working on to ease the wait.(If anyone requests there suit to be secret no updates will ever be sent to anyone but them via email)
❤Currently commissions are set up in both order down payment is received and expected payment completion.Meaning the standard set time from down payment to finished product is 4 months(at average payment plan) If you pay in full in some cases i can bump you up in the queue but you will most likely still have 2-4 month wait time.
❤You must be payed off by your completion month before dedicated work can start.
❤If you finish payments before your completion month you will be eligible to be moved ahead in the event someone fails to complete payment by there completion month.
❤Once down payment is received your fur and supplies will be ordered within the following 1-3 weeks and you will be notified when both the order is placed and received.
❤When it is your completion month you will be sent updates and pictures until complete.
❤Once your product has been completed i will notify you your shipping costs and as soon as shipping is paid they will be sent on there way to you to enjoy! Shipping within the US generally takes 3-5 business days.

General | Posted 11 years ago EVERY HEAD IS DIFFERENT
I have a basic head base design i use for all my heads but even so some heads warrant different methods. Sometimes heads will have foam all around the circumference of your own head. Sometimes you won't have any foam in the back of the head. In the past heads had zippers for better cleaning and for need of glasses. But was told that they were not being used that much, more troublesome or felt it was not needed so now heads, even those needing room for glasses no longer need or have zippers!
Every head is a custom job and no two will be exactly the same down to the core. Every suit is special and i try and bring out what i see in the art of your character to life.
I'm constantly experimenting with new methods to make my heads look better, work better, feel better and last longer!
BODY,HANDS,FEET AND TAILS
Over the years methods for making things has changed. Some suits will find they are made differently then others.Some will have sewn in padding, some will have inserts. Some heads have zippers and some don't. As i've grown and changed and developed over my years of fursuit making i keep figuring out newer or better ways of creating fursuits.
I also try to listen to everyone's feedback and take it to heart to apply to new suits. Such as making suit care easier by have padding inserts instead of sewn in padding!
However i try as much as possible to give everyone options so there needs are met with each suit and you can see the list of current suit standards with available alternative choices with pros and cons Here
FOLLOW ME EYES
All my heads come with follow me eyes. All are done differently to suit the character. From the shape and color to the markings in the highlights.
MISTAKES
I don't think there is a maker out there who hasn't made mistakes with a product they put out. From just not knowing a better way to do something to not knowing how it will work out in the long run. I have made these mistakes and while i have fixed most of them i may make mistakes again. But i will do all i can to fix them and make you happy with working with me and the product you receive from me.
