Under New Leadership + Check Out Our Sister-Group
General | Posted 12 years agoAlright, people. Those of you who are following Kayrin probably saw his announcement regarding the leadership of this group, and here's some elaboration on that.
vertex01 Posting now and taking on the responsibility of this group, I will do my best to make it fun for all of us! You may recognize my otter from a few of Kay's stories, and you can call me Vertex, Ket, or even David (I may run and hide though). I sincerely hope that Kayrin will stay involved and join in when he can. He still has final say on major group decisions, and I'll do my best to stick to his original vision and bring it to life. I'm very thankful for the opportunity to take a role in this group. :3
Before I get to group business, I'm going to take a moment to talk about another group I run. Check it out over at
kiinks, though it's not much to look at just yet. The Kiinks group was created for a few reasons. Namely, I enjoy group RP and I found myself with a bunch of very intriguing and talented friends who had some overlapping interests. I began throwing them together on Skype and realized the potential. That group serves a wider variety of kinks than this one, with an emphasis on open-mindedness and connection of potential partners. You can certainly be a member of both groups and RPs will be run out of both and cross-promoted when appropriate.
I've got some reorganization to do here, but I hope to figure out some RP ideas and get something going within the next couple weeks. I've spoken with some of you, but not all, and I'd love to change that. Feel free to comment on this journal, or note me on any of my three accounts, or even add me on Skype (listed on main account) if that's easiest. Some stuff I'm wondering: what type of scenes are you looking for? what's your favorite method of RP? what would you like to see added to this group? what can you tell me about your character? do you have any RP logs you'd like featured? etc.
Anyway, hopefully there will be more updates soon, I will try my best not to disappoint. <3

I'm going to start a short RP I believe. The scenario will be a VR combat mission for the Spears. They will be tasked with infiltrating a complex to achieve a presently unspecified objective.
Once I see who's on board to participate, we can hammer out the details!
Just drop a comment on this journal if you're interested in participating; ideas are also welcome here. :)
I'll send out a note either this evening or tomorrow morning to those who expressed interest.

Hopefully this group will thrive under the rather broad (though niche) criteria I've set out for the material that will be featured here. If you enjoy the rush of competition, the thrill of beating out your opponents, or perhaps being beaten out by a stronger, faster, better competitor, then this is the place for you!
RP's will be done over whatever medium is convenient, but in particular through notes via. FA itself. I, like many other 'adults', don't have as much free time as we once had and this makes RP'ing long sequences difficult to do in one sitting. However anyone else wants to RP is totally up to them; this group isn't here to tell you how to RP, but simply to help bring together like-minded people who want a chance to vent themselves via. demolishing all-comers (ah haaa, get it?) in whatever competitive medium they prefer; boxing, wrestling, combat, dodgeball, pie eating contests, whatever!
I don't have a suitable icon for the group yet, but if anyone has any suggestions that'd be peachy-keen. And please, spread the word! Link us in your journals, tell your friends, add it to your profile, whatevs. :)
