So now I have interest to pay.
On the bright side, I was able to get a new phone that I desperately needed. I put that on my credit card as soon as I paid it off.
The phone is a huge relief to have now, because now I can accept more business inquiries without having to worry about being in a wifi hot spot.

My family is short on funds this month and we are being hit with property taxes and car insurance both due at the end of the month.
I don't really feel comfortable putting the amount out there, but I know my payment is about $967 to help out. That is included with my car insurance and my part to pay for taxes.

Posted 9 years agoYep you read the title right, I'm attempting to "Adult". I need to learn how to do several things and learn to get my shit straight as to, I can't rely on my parents forever. Right now my main priority is trying to save up enough money for going to the eye doctor (I'm in desperate need of an eye exam and new glasses), and going to the dentist (I know for sure I have 2 cavities. And fillings wont be cheap.)
So how is everyone else doing in this shitty place we call a 'world' right now?

Posted 9 years agoIs it sad that I have been doing shots all night, and yet I haven't gotten 'drunk'? Like, I've surpassed 10 shots of Fireball, but that is over the course of like 4 or 5 hours. And I still have my wits about me. Last time I drank, I literally was a messy fit of giggles and couldn't type to save my life. I bet its because I had a full stomach. (Prior I had had some White Castle burgers.)

Her Feral Story is going to be more hyena related and not so much 'me'. Like I'm linking stuff that was happening to me into the story, but under circumstances that would apply to a hyena.

Posted 9 years agoReasons you don't see me commission people is because of a simple fact: I am VERY nit picky about Cas's design. And with Cas being my favorite character, I can't simply just let design slips go unnoticed. I've commissioned art of her before, don't get me wrong. But sad and true, the artist neglected to look at the "Need To Knows" about Cas. I am VERY particular in her design since she has undergone many changes in a few years time. Now gift art and trades, that's another thing. I wont point out the wrongs, because trades and gift arts are something I don't pay for. All I can say is, I do wish people would pay attention to the design sheet I've made. I made it for a reason.

Posted 9 years agoI love my parents so damn much. So here's a story of what happened today:
My mom knows I've been trying to save up for a desktop. I really wanted to get one and thus have had my eye on one. I wanted to get the one that was on sale at BestBuy (online) and I worked out a payment deal with my mom if she'd let me get it now while the sale was going. She was okay with it and thus I left to go get it. Well sadly the desktop I was originally going to get was not eligible to be shipped to our area. So I ended up talking to a computer guy and he helped me find one I would be more willing to take. I asked him, since it is an online only offer, if they would price match Newegg.com. He said yes, and I found the same exact computer with the same specks for 200 less. They matched it! So I officially have the computer on the way. I'll be working to pay it off for the next two weeks, then I'll work on getting a monitor for it. :)Fursona Meme

Cas Hyena
• Where did the name of your Fursona come from?
My name to be honest. My name is Cassie, but I like to be called Cas, specially at work, when I am needed.
• What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?
Fire Hyena, a Spotted Hyena variety. I love spotted hyena's and just to tweak her a bit to suit my standards, I made her a fire hyena. Basically a spotted hyena with altered genetics to control and produce fire on whim.
• What color is your fursona and why? Hair/fur/eye/ect.
Brown/tan fur, with lighter socks and darker spots. A blonde mane and teal eyes.
While I myself am very pale, I loved the colors I had chosen because they looks rather natural looking. (At the time I gave her these colors, I was on a super 'realistic look' spree and they have since stuck.)
• What is your fursona's personality and how does this compare to your RL personality?
This is where I can be a bit wishy washy. My fursona IS me. But any of the emotions can be amplified depending on the mood. If I'm in a bad mood, its amplified in her. (Plus most of the time, I have Cas as a Feral Fur, and to show good measure, I'm not a feral haha.)
• What is one item your fursona owns that is significant to you in RL?
Haha, my fursona doesn't own anything. Like I said, fursona based is in feral form.
• What is one thing you think you would say to your fursona if you could meet?
YOU LOOK SO CUDDLY!

Cas has gone from being a sparkle hyena to a hyena/awd mix to a full fledged Fire Hyena. She has undergone a lot of changes, along with myself. I've changed a lot in the years I've had.

Since December of 2009. Just a little over 6 years.
• Would you like to be more like your fursona?
Probably not haha. I don't really want to be a feral human. But I would like to be more open as she is when I role play her on Feral Heart.
Bonus Information:
My fursona originally started off as a joke. I'd been drawing my friends as animals back in the day, on deviantart. I was going to draw my friend as a hyena when I said "What animal?" and she said Hyena. She thought I was asking on what animal I was going to be myself. And since then, the hyena has stuck.

Posted 10 years agoYou all may not remember, but a few years back I was really into the Slenderman fandom and was drawing him all the time. I drew him at home, at work and probably even in my sleep haha.
I plan to make a comeback to that fandom because I will be buying the Slenderman games on SlendermansShadow.com.
You get all 9 of them for $4.99, and I plan to buy them this week when I get paid, if at all possible.
Also a comic I started up a while back, I want to revamp and will be writing it instead.
(It was a base of Slenderman (legit character from CreepyPasta) and SexualOffenderMan (an OC made up, that i no longer take interest in, because I don't fully support the idea of him anymore).

Also a thing I've noticed about some stuff I've seen lately on here with people posting vent art.
Okay, I'm just as guilty because I've posted vent art as well. And lets be clear, yes I know drawing is a good source to help us relieve the stress and all. Drawing can really take the edge off and help us calm down and slowly go from boiling to simmering to close to calm waters. I get it. I truly do. Yes. But one thing I don't understand is, if you are going to post vent art, one that is defiantly showing signs that you are truly not okay with a lot of mentions of death and so on, why wont you talk to people who offer to listen? I've seen many a pictures in a the few years I've been on this site where people leave death mentions and people get concerned and offer to listen and all the responses are either "No I'm good." or "I'm fine." Bloody fucking hell. If your drawing death and choosing your fursona to represent the death, I'd say that you are far from fine. If you don't want people commenting on it since you either ignore them or just don't want to talk to them, then why not disable the comments? We have that option now-a-days here.
Let me also be frank with this: This is NOT aimed at any of my watchers or people I'm watching. I know that would be the first thing some of you would jump to, since I've seen some vent arts posted recently by some of you. NO its not you. This has been a long time coming from me. A year or so to be exact. I never said anything because I just thought I'd start drama if I did, or the person would feel bad and do something stupid because of it. This is something that I have been mulling over in my mind for a year or so. And I'm finally voicing it. So please don't think its anyone in particular.
With all the shit that has happened to me in the last year, this year needs to start off right for me. So I'm just asking out of curiosity for why people don't turn off comments. It really just boggles the mind for me. Because if I post vent art, I'm always happy if someone cares about me enough to ask what's wrong and I'll let them know. People only ask if they care. That's the thing. People Ask Because They Care. So when you ignore or just flat out refuse to talk to them about your situation it kinda hurts them. I've been in that boat to, I've offered to help friends and I've been completely shut off from them because they don't want my help.
I don't know. Maybe I've even lost my point of asking here now. I just. I'm so confused as to why people post their vents which can be in some cases, very worrisome to their friends, and they refuse to talk about it.
I guess I'll shut up, I think I've trailed off from the point.

Until I get my new desktop, I will not be active in games on Steam. The games are slowly killing my laptop and I can't afford to buy a new laptop AND a desktop at this time. So till further notice, I wont be active.
