But I had my time to recover and accept the dark truth. September 19 will be a day I will forever dread...but I won't dwell on this forever. My uncle wouldn't have want that from me.

Posted 7 years agoFor the longest time, I had an uncle who I've known since I was but a child. This man was like a second father to me. He supported me and loved me as if I was one of his own children. He's provided me wth so much inspiration and love that it always kept me going...
Recently, my uncle was diagnosed with Cancer and for years he has been fighting through it. Well, during this month, his cancer has reached criticall severity. Since then, he has been fighting for his survival. My parents had to cancel their trip to Puerto Rico to go see my uncle...
...well......it happened...i just got word from my dad and i finally got an update....my uncle put up a good fight...but alas, it was all in vein. its over...the doctors did everything they could, but they were mearly postponing the inevitable.....
As a result...my uncle has passed away...
To say this dealt a massive blow on my me and my family would be an understatement. I heard it from my brother that our entire family back in the Dominican Republic heard about his passing and were all devistated...and I do not blame them...
I can't stop crying knowing that he's gone.....this isn't like when I lost my Grandma. She died of old age, but my uncle was still relatively young....yes he lived a good life; but he looked like he still many years ahead of him...

Birthday
MY BIRTHDAY IS NEXT WEEK~!!!! EEEEE!! For those who do or don't remember, my birthday is just a few days away! July 3rd to be speciffic! Its so weird that June is come by so fast. It just felt like yesterday that when my lil bro's birthday happened XD But yes, point is; in just six days, I will gain a new inch in size and year 8v <3
Art
For this point, I just want to simply apologize for being just a tad bit slow with my content. Lots of tings have been going on (Still currently looking for a job) here and its been eating up my time. Don't be discouraged though, Art ain't somethig I'm giving up on. If anything, things are settled down now, so expect to see alot more from me~! There's some stuff that I promised that I need to get back on too XD....having ADD sucks sometimes XvX
Streams
June 7rh of this year was the latest stream I had for the longest time. But before that, I hadn't stream in a long ass time!!! Guess the feeling never came to me. I plan on getting back into streaming and doing more with it. Perhaps maybe do Raffle streams or other shiet. who knows? Point is, I wanna stream more again, dang it!!

This time, I'm not going to beat myself senseless here and have a large amount of slots XD Prices will remain the same, but expect some slots to be lowered.....maybe. Now I can't say when exactly they'll bee open; but what I can tell you is that expec something to happen sometime around Mid to Late July.

So remember my last attempt at animation? Well after the overwhelming positive feedback on the last one (and a couple of my friends urging) I'm going to be doing another Animated YCH auction soon. I can't give you all the details; but I'll spoil this small tidbit and say that it will involve everyone's favorite Hammer~

E3 2018 Thoughts And Evaluation
Posted 7 years agoWell my lovely bunches of butternuts; now that E3 has come and gone; its time now for me to give my thoughts on the confrences and give a grade on how each one did. There were alot of things that made me laugh, groan, scream in joy, and in rage. Needless to say, its looking to be a bright future for games. With that said, let's do this!
First, I want to address the elephant in the room. I know there are some of you who are upset/angry that a certain game you was hoping to see be shown this year didn't get shown. Believe me, I feel the same. That being said, however, please understand that you should not fault or deduct points for that just because your expectations weren't met. You have to look at E3 and take with what you are given and not what you wanted. Because if you keep doing that, of course your always going to be dissapointed, but that's not going to be their fault. Its yours. Not Sonys', Not Microsofts', Not Nintendos'. You'd only have yourself to blame. Take this as a lesson for next year........or don't, whatever. Also let me just remind you guys that this is my opinion. So chances are, you will more than likely not agree with what order I put these guys in. But that's fine. Agree to Disagree, right? ^^
-PC Gaming Show-
It sucked, moving on.....Seriously though, this one was BOOOORRRIINNNG. I remember wanting to give this one a chance just because...but I was soo fucking bored. I passed out while watching it and woke up 30 minutes later, completely forgetting what I was doing or what time it was. Nothing grabbed my attention....except for the new DLC for Killing Floor 2, but that was it.

This one made me Maaaaaaaaaaaad. Like reeaallly mad. I was so furious when I saw this. I'm so glad this one was first, but it did not change the fact that I was absolutely livid. Like, where do I even begin?? The Battlefield 5 having a Battle Royal (Chasing trends again, EA?)? Another streaming service? Shoutcasting a fucking mobile Game? Thee complete butchering of the Command & Conquor series? Or how about the way they sucked at conveying anything exciting for Anthem? The ONLY thing that got some genuin interest out of me were the two indie games; Unravel Two and Sea of Solitude. Sadly, these two weren't enough to change my mind. Long story short, EA's sucked...but that's to be expected.

Square....guys...what happened to you? Were was that A game you guys brought last year? Microsoft took most of your glory and you were left limp. This felt like the E3 equivalent of a premature ejactulation. Don't get me wrong, I'm still excited for KH3 and that new Tomb Raider game. And hey, that new game that Platinum is making looks pretty sick!...but despite that; most of the stuff they showed was stuff we've already seen. But the worst part of the whole thing was it was too damn short. All and all, it was dissapointing at best and a massive let down at worst

Another Assassin's Creed game...? Really...? Didn't the last one come out like last year? Ugh...well It wasn't all bad. The new Skull and Bones game looked great! Seriously that felt like the game Sea of Thieves wanted to be. Also the Star Fox crossover with Starlink was pretty sick! Also, thanks for reminding me that I need to beat Mario + Rabbids...seriously I need that new DLC~ So yeah...not too bad.

I thought Rage 2 was more than enough to get me excited...but a new Doom?! Now we are talking! Can't ignore the rest of the good stuff they showed; but Rage 2 and Doom Eternal were the two things that got me the most!...also I know that many people the musical performances during E3 because it adds nothing to the confrence, and I'm inclined to agree....but for Andrew W.K.; I'm making an exception. That man knows how to fucking party!

Sony had a REALLY rough start after showing off The Last of Us Part 2...and that whole intermission felt akward and infuriating.....but then they picked themselves right back up with the rest of the show! Resident Evil 2, Ghosts of Tsushima, That new Spider Man game.....and whateve the fuck Death Stranding was! Seriously why is it that everytime I see something for that game, I get more and more confused?! Kojima! what is going on in that devious mind of yours???

Yeah...I know. Even I'm shocked that Microsoft got this high up! But yeah, they beat Sony in this one...okay I know that is very subjective, but me personally; they took it here! A New Halo, A New Gears of War, A New Dying Light, And of course...the highlight of the entire thing...Devil May cry 5! The moment I saw that; I knew at that point that Microsoft took it!!

....THAT IS...until Nintendo came in! Look, I know its really biased of me to give em the highest rating because I'm a Nintendo fan; but c'mon...can ya blame me? Sure it wasn't enough, but my expectations were very low so that's why I was more excited than I should have been. Super Mario Party was a great reveal! I saw gameplay for that game and I'm happy to announce that its back to its normal format! Now of course....we gotta talk about that Smash. Not only is everyone from every Smash game back...but...the argument is dead. The meme is finally dead! RIDLEY IS IN SMASH! To any who said he would never make it....Well there you go! ovo

Time to get the Gears Moving!
Posted 7 years agoI'm sure you've noticed that things have been rather slow for me =v=;; Haven't been as active around here as I'd like. Its mostly because I was spending the last two months trying to get my life back on track and focus on trying to get a part time or full-time job.
But I'm happy to report that with the current affairs, I'm ready to finally get back into gear. I've been lazing about too long uvu its time we get this Spood train back into high gear!

Well...this sucks...
Posted 8 years agoI normally don’t make journals like this but...I have to make an exception someday. Well, recently I was told by my mom some really sad and shocking news. Just yesterday, one of my cousins passed away. He was murdered by some random asshole Who wanted his car. And the worst part is the killer got away Scott free. You could imagine how shocked I was to know and hearing this. While I am feeling better now (slightly) That initial shock still exists inside me because this is actually the first person within my family to die in the hands of murder. It’s kind of scary when you think about it. At any rate, I loved my cousin and I hope that justice can be done for his sake... and my deepest condolences go out to his mom and dad as well

Posted 8 years agoSo I'm sure you guys love Helga and all of her glory~! And honestly, she's a real joy to have. Drawing her in many types of things is all kinds of fun. Her popularity is great that she's gotten some fan-art of her here and there~!...however, this brings me to an important message.
For those of you who aren't aware, Helga Hammela is a shared character between myself and my friend vganimecolleter, and for a long while, my friend has been rather upset with the fact that he too hasn't been added to the credits whenever fanart has been made. Like I said, Helga belongs to both me and my friend and It does upset him that he isn't included in the credits whenever someone draws him.
So out of respect, I'd like to quickly inform you guys that if ever you'd like to draw Helga (which you are totally free to doing so) please be sure next time to not only credit me, but also credit vganimecolleter as well.

A Late Happy New Year Message
Posted 8 years agoPhew! Well....guess I'm alittle late to make a journal on this; but fuck it! Better late than never as they always say.
Anywho, I just wanted to take this time to give you guys a Happy New Year! Things (for the most part) have been going rather swell here! And I look forward to what 2018 has to offer. But really, what I really wanted to say is thank you to all of you. For all the years you've been here for me to look at and love my art, for being so special and kind to me, for all the joy you all have given me and opened up to me. And for the confidence, you guys continue to give me as time goes on. You guys are the best peeps a SpiderBun could ever ask for! So from the bottom of my heart (the one currently occupied by a tit obsessed parasite); I love all of you :D
Here's to 2018~! Let's all get on the SpoodTrain and ride this baby all the way to............Wherever!
