Recently, the RKN (Roskomnadzor aka the Ministry of Censorship) blocked the FA in Russia. What can I say about this? Until 2022, the RKN included many different resources in the register of banned sites, including even simple sites for reading manga. This is the usual schizophrenia of our departments, which will not affect anything. Everyone has long since learned to use VPN, so there are no changes. Hello again. I don't know how much of my followers read journals here, but I'll write this anyway.
In last few months my income has dropped several times. The dollar exchange rate against the ruble
has fallen sharply, prices are constantly rising (no prices have declined following a low dollar, as is usually the case with us).
+ Boosty, a new service that I switched so that my commissioners can pay for comms, takes a ruthless percentage of the commission from each amount...

In general, I now earn much less than before :/
And I need to do something about it.

I have several paths.

First: I thought about simplifying my style to increase the speed of my work.
I really spend a lot of time on rendering work - not sketching, not coloring, not post-processing, but rendering.
So in this case I'm thinking about simplifying the style, perhaps making it more stylized than realistic.

Second: I'm starting to take more simple commissions. I mean portraits and sketch-comms.
That is, I take more simple comms that I can quickly do. This way, in my opinion, has more advantages -
you, my commissioners, get work faster, art will cost less (however, as I understand, inflation now is a global trend).

Third: I just take more comms and do not change anything. So the render stays the same. But I do not think that
this is generally the way - rather a dead end. Now I'm here, but I feel that something needs to change.

I don’t know who even reads such long journals on this site, it’s more like just my thoughts out loud :D

Hello. The last weeks have been marked by terrible events in Ukraine. The civilian population of Ukraine perishes under Russian bombs and is killed by the Russian military.
I do not support this war in any way. Just like the whole civilized world. And I understand why the whole world is turning its back on Russia.
The huge wave of sanctions and the withdrawal of global companies have left my country, Including many foreign payment services.
Oh, if only I had the resources to wait it out safely! But I can't afford to emigrate. That so I can only continue to work just to... Live. Until this horror for both countries ends.

Last night I was preparing a ych project for FA, but this morning I woke up reading messages from my friend from Ukraine about the bombing.
My country went to war with another and I'm so sorry. None of us wants war, although the government claims that everyone agrees with its actions.
It's a lie. We all want only peace.

I will work as usual as long as I have contact with my commissioners. Perhaps my deadlines for working on commissions will increase, if the world I am familiar with will still exists in the spring.
