~I write stories, so I'll go with story-writer.
2. If you said "story-writer" to the last question, do you write short stories, short stories with chapters, full-size novels, or scripts?
~Short stories and short stories with chapters, I'd say. Though sometimes, they can be longer than what would probably be considered a short story, heh.
3. Do you write based on your own ideas, requests, or both?
~Both, I guess. It depends on the subject matter though, if it's a request.
4. Have you drawn a character/scene from your writing before?
~No. I would maybe like to, if I can ever get myself to practice drawing.
5. Have you ever requested/commissioned someone to draw something from your writing?
~Nope. One of my buds has talked about doing so time and time again, though.
6. How often do you think about what you write/plan to write?
~A lot more than what would be acceptable, probably. I really should use that and actually DO something one of these days to resume writing.

~Yeah, sort of. In a story I'm thinking of writing for a bud of mine (same one I mentioned up above, though writing said story will probably take some time and/or be put on the back burner), I'm thinking of making the main character based after me, pretty much.

~Yeah, I suppose. If you count imagining what I would like to write about involving them fantasizing, heh. :D

General | Posted 17 years agoIf I could say anything about this month, I'd say... it's been a bit of a roller coaster thus far.
First, in regards to NaNoWriMo... I haven't exactly gotten as much done as I would've liked, but that's cause was preoccupied with something else that was less important. It's over now though, but still haven't managed to kick it into gear yet and get writing. Though I think I'm gonna give up on my original idea and just stick to what I'm best at... Pokemon lemons, heh. :P
Anyway, the next thing is, I was reminded by my mom on Monday (the 10th) that one year has passed since the fire that could've claimed my life. As stated in an older journal under my old account, was sleeping when in the middle of the night when my dad accidentally lit the basement on fire while smoking. Since then, we stayed at a friend of my uncle's house, a nice hotel, and an apartment town house (though was the majority of where we stayed, compared to the other two). We moved back in after many repairs/games about two months ago, though.
It's funny, isn't it? You never know what life has in store for you. Like if I wasn't woken up by someone in my family or by the smoke, I wouldn't be here right now and all my ideas wouldn't have ever gotten done, heh. X3 Though I'm hoping my time won't come for a long time, but... you never know.
Another thing happened just last night. I was talking with my bud zephyrpaws, and apparently, I hurt his feelings by not posting the story I mentioned in my last journal that he wrote for me for my birthday. :'( I already said I was sorry, but still, I can't help but feel a little bad for what I did to him. It was never my intention to hurt the guy, but still... to hear how I offended him, by never posting what I said I wanted to post, it hurts as he's one of my best friends and respected authors. I really did find it sweet and amazing... but I just let it get washed away in the midst of the chaos that is life.
Sorry zephyrpaws, if I sound like a whiny little bitch right now, but I just really needed to let this out and express my deepest sorrow for what I may have done to hurt you. And even though he gave me until midnight my time tonight to post the story, I think I'm just gonna let him do it instead, cause it's HIS story and would probably be better off in HIS gallery, not mine. Plus, since I already played games long enough with it, I think he deserves the honor, not me. Hopefully though, once I get done with NaNoWriMo, I'll have something to fill up my gallery here too.
And the last thing I learned of earlier today. Apparently, my grandmother (the last living relative I have) somehow fell and hit her head this afternoon, knocking her unconscious. Not sure who found her, but... meh. Anyway, so she's at the hospital right now, and dunno what her condition is atm, though my mom did say her heart rate was above normal, I think... I'm really hoping she'll pull through, but who knows? She is pretty old (not sure, but like in her eighties, I think), but I'm hoping she doesn't quit too easily.
Anyway, so that's it in a nutshell, pretty much. A crazy month so far, but not really a good one either. Hopefully, it'll start to improve though in the days to come.

NaNoWriMo and life update.

As stated in my last journal, my birthday was a few weeks ago. Didn't get much, aside from a video game I asked for, a new sensor bar for my Wii (my old one was broken by accident), and a story from my good bud ZephyrPaws, which I'll hopefully get to posting around here soon, just to fill my gallery for the time being.
Other than that... haven't done much, aside from some reading and commenting on submissions. Though I'm going to be entering NaNoWriMo (learned through my buddy zephyrpaws), with a different idea that I came up with, something involving a horse turned to an anthro and his life after he's turned into a freak, and a girl who may become his new love, heh. X3 Should be fun, and hopefully, give me just what I need to get back to writing more regularly, perhaps.
Well, I'm in the middle of watching a Goosebumps marathon here (started at 6am this morning, though of course, I wasn't up that early; still got up early enough to see most of 'em, lol), so should probably wrap this up. Hopefully, as soon as I'm done with NaNoWriMo, I'll have something up here to fill my gallery (if I don't upload the b-day story zephyrpaws wrote me first), perhaps. Hope to see what everyone thinks when that time comes!

General | Posted 17 years agoOkay, so I actually got my Internet back up on Tuesday afternoon, but haven't officially returned to FA, though I've been semi-lurking. Shame on me! XD
Anyway, during my downtime, didn't get much (actually, any) writing or anything exciting done. Did get some thinking done for one of my stories I'm kinda working on though, so that's some progress, at least. So hopefully, I should have something up soon to fill my gallery, if I can create some nice cover art for it and actually get back to writing soon. Though truth be told, I haven't really ever drawn anything; so probably won't be good, though will still try my best, heh. ^^
Oh yeah, birthday's coming up in a few weeks, so looking forward to that. Gonna be turning 22 when that day comes, heh. Though dunno what all I'm gonna get just yet... should probably start thinking for that, rather than just get random stuff, lol.

Supposed to be moving back in today, so have to get ready and take care of that. Dunno when Internet will be set up again, supposed to be on Friday, but they've played games with our house for this long, so it might be a little longer (though I'm hoping that's not the case). The one good thing is I might finally be able to get back to writing some of my Pokemon stories, as I know I've had quite a few ideas bouncing around in my head for some time.
