So this past meet was the biggest yet. It's grown quite a bit from the humble beginnings with Nova and I sitting in the library sewing things exactly one year ago. I made 60 valentines and thought I'd have leftovers. But we had 74 people turn up. So I guess that's makes them more rare.

It was nice to see people relax for once and just be furry. I hope going forward we can have more maturity shown towards all members. We are becoming such a thing in that small town shop owners regularly pull us in or come out for pictures.

I do want to made one statement about friends. To anyone New who attends. We didn't become friends overnight. We don't have people who will find you, in your corner, chatting on your phone, posting how emo you are, who will jump over and demand friendship. It's a two way street and it's something you have to work on. You have to be willing and open to talking to people. Even if it's finding another person like you hiding away. I try and seek these folks out but it's mentally exhausting trying to crack a shell that has no interest in helping me, help them. And I get it, people are shy, may not know anyone, scared to make a move. But why did you bother to come if you are unwilling to take the next step of talking.

To that I will tell you a story. I am introverted and HATE large crowds. I get restless and feel I need to run away when there are too many people and I have a horrible memory. There is a fella at the meet, I had to re-meet 4 flipping times before I remembered his name. And he wears a blasted badge. " hi, are you new here?" " no Wyld, we meet last meet". Oops... but we are good friends now. Because I made the effort to meet him, every time. And he was tolerant with me to deal with me forgetting. There are wonderful people in this fandom, all you have to do is attempt to reach out.

Running my meet has forced me to face my fears and deal with large crowds. It's forced me to get out there and try and make friends. When I first moved to Colorado, I personally knew no one. I went to a few meets that I felt out of place in and kinda gave up. It wasn't until I reached out and said " I'm gonna be here at this time, I'd love to have company" that someone responded ( thank you Nova ). And my mate arrived (thank you Cloud) Now, I may not know everyone personally, but I know 74 furs in Colorado who attend Arvada Tails. I recognize them and sometimes see them around the town. And my gods that feels great! If I don't know you yet, I will in time. If you help me by saying "Hi".

That I can submit artwork faster on my iPhone than on my fast super uber computer. But eeeh? Anywho been working on my head. So far taken me about a month. The app cosplanner has been extremely motivational as well as handy in keeping track of time spent. Since I work all day and play with my little one I have two hours a night to work on such things. So I'm pretty proud how much I have done. In planning session is a lop suit and a mix breed possible.

Currently working on a fnof foxy plushie. All the parts are cut out now just the chore of sewing all together. On a personal note I'm never gonna incorporate clothing into the doll itself anymore. It was a suggestion I may but I'm finding it to be very difficult especially the jagged edges. Otherwise going well.

Well I made 10 little guys for the auction. I only posted 3 though. First time ever displaying these as I usually only make them for friends. I am nervous, but excited so fingers crossed.

Has arrived. As I type this my little bitty fingers are cold. It's only raining outside, but it's a cold one. This is like the first fall in 9 years of me living here. Ok, so art-wise. I have been knitting a lot. and doing cross-stitch, and yes, some more clay. I have that posted over on sofurry. I was just checking the sites and saw i had said nothing in awhile.

well we have had almost 2 soild weeks of hot heated summer days. I'm done, bring on the cuddle weather. and bring me a cuddle partner for that matter. *claps paws like a queen* Come on, I haven't got all day.

Just kidding. I have a awesome cuddle partner. and I'm just gonna have to wait. (damn it...) and wait for the fall. curses time.

At any rate I am thinking of my next peice. another bobble to collect dust. :) hazzah.

Man its it already june?! Ugh. yeah well they took down my "toy" cuz it was too risky I guess. They have artwork that shows close ups of the act drooling and dripping parts, but if you make a part? no no that's too naughty.

What the "smurf" ever.

Anyway I just finished Myst. I did it in about a day. I used the crap clay. I hate to let anything go to waste. I have at least two more in mind. But I want the better clay first.

I have been writing a whole hek of a lot. and REALLY starting to miss my wrist brace. -pants-
I have another story to post as well. but I'm not happy with some of the postions mentioned. so, yeah I'll get it up soon. I also have 2 clay works in teh works. But the clay is substandard and pissing me off.

I have submitted a story two time. Still it has not uploaded. ~grumbles~ Also, my birdy commission is comming along. I can bake it today I hope.

Quite often these days I find myself in the tub and ispired by a moment. I had a moment. (no jokes about that comment please *smirks*) At any rate more of the story of the moment whe it's finished. he's in the oven right now.
I am pleased that I have found a group that inspires me so. Although, ~grumbles~ I'm gonna need more clay.

I think that's it for the moent with all my older stuffs. I like to keep it around to see how much I have grown. I have more ideas floating about my head for more charcter peices. I don't know if they will open the door in my skull and walk out though.
