Sunset Beach Bonfire! June 25th!! 5th year!
Posted 9 years agoIt's that time of the year again! Bonfire time!!! Our date is back on June 25th to kick off the summer this year! Let's make it even bigger than last years! <3
This year I will be there at 5 AM before the beach even opens to claim our spots closer to the free parking area and to claim two pits side by side!
Some of the things most needed are water and ice!
Tables help too!
And coolers.
And canopies!
Group photo will be taken around 6 - 7 PM~
Free parking behind Jack In the Box extends as far into the lots as possible! Just look out for the parking signs!

I've done a few beach bonfires and helped a whole bunch others and they are always the most fun! Connect with old friends and make new ones cooking wieners and making s'mores or take a dip in the nice cool waters and then warm yourself by the fire!
The location is at BOLSA CHICA STATE BEACH near Sunset Beach at the cross streets of Warner and Pacific Coast Highway. The meet will run all day until 10 pm and I will be there before hand to set up in the early hours if anyone feels like coming early and keeping me company.
The beach itself features a close shoreline to the bonfire pits so to jump right into the waters it is just a few steps away. Away from the beach is a bike/running trail and in the parking lots there are benches/ bbq pits/ and restrooms. If you choose to fursuit at the beach you may change in the restroom or my van! I may also set up a tent for this as well!
There are shops and eateries nearby for your enjoyment that includes a Jack in the Box, Subway, Sushi Restaurant, Coffee shop, convenience gas station, and a liquor store and a few more places just down the street.
I will provide enough wood to burn for most of the day. You may bring food/snacks/drinks for yourself or to share with others. No alcohol please as this is a dry beach and I do not want to deal with beach patrol or get kicked out.
Parking is free in the lot behind Jack in the Box if you can find it as well as where the red line is marked in the map on the side streets. To park in the beach parking lot go down PCH til you hit the entrance. The fee is 15 dollars and includes in and out privileges if you keep your ticket. Ignore the 10 dollars in the map as it is outdated and have gone up since then.
Event will start clean up at 915 and officially ends at 10.
After party at a diner nearby!
Extra Stuff!!
Any extra chairs, tables, umbrellas, and coolers are helpful if you have them. Ice can be bought at the nearby gas station.
Event is open to furs and nonfurs so feel free to invite your friends.
If you choose to go into the waters do the stingray shuffle to avoid getting stung! Just simply shuffle your feet in the water. (Depending if rays are near the waters during the event which I will find out closer to the event)

Some highlights this year:
Whipping the minivan through canyon road and all them curves near shear cliff faces on our road trip there and back. Lots of fun! :D
Also creepy night roads and stuck brakes/accelerator cause I was going at it too hard and things fell down towards there! XDD
LOTS OF SUITING AHHH
First time suiting at the con and it was a blast. Had a great time randomly suiting with
sakurafox through downtown San Jose (got to hug my first kid) as well as interacting with many others throughout the convention.

The dance competition was just soo much energy and craze this year. <3 <3 <3

And soo muchh moree. I cannot wait until next year when we get to do it all over again!!!

Dates are from Thursday the 16th through checkout on Monday the 20th
I'm charging 100 per person up to six people! Three spots are currently filled which includes me, my boyfriend yoshi_yosuke and my friend dbwolf
If you'd like a spot in the room note me! Ideally I'd like payment via Paypal and before January to claim your spot! After January if you haven't paid you may lose your spot to a willing payer so keep that in mind.
Two beds in the room one is claimed by me and the boyfriend and the other bed will be worked out with the other roomies. Floor space is available too. Mostly quiet room, not really planning on having a big party in the room, but friends are welcomed; fursuits too.

Sunset Beach Bonfire! Oct. 19th (SoCal MeetUp)

Hey guys hosting a little bonfire on Saturday Oct 19th. I did this last year and it was relatively successful so I'm doing it again this year!
It's at Bolsa Chica State Beach at the cross streets of Warner and PCH. Will be from 12pm- 10pm but I will be there before that to set up.

I'll personally be there before twelve to acquire a bonfire pit and will be bringing enough wood for most of the day/night. There are shops nearby for convenience like Jack in the Box, Subway, Sushi place, coffee place, convenience gas store and a liquor store and a few other eateries... There are also BBQ grills and benches nearby.
Parking is free in the lot behind the Jack in the Box if you can find it as well as where the red line is marked in the handy dandy map otherwise it is 15 dollar for the day down the street. Ignore the 10 dollar in the map it is outdated and the prices are up this time.
Event will start clean up at 9:30 PM and officially ends at 10. May end earlier depending on what people want.
You may also bring food/snacks/water for yourself or to share with others. Absolutely no alcohol guys I'll have to turn you guys away if you bring any.
Any extra chairs, umbrellas, and coolers are helpful.
Bring your fursuits if you dare! Be mindful of the fire though. Don't want anyone catching fire or melting part of their suits.
And feel free to invite your friends!~ Furs and nonfurs welcome. :3
