In the past few days I have become a Doctor Who fan, I can't get enough of that show.

I've been noticing that some writers recently have been uploading thier work in docx and odt forms. The site marks the file type as unknown however if you have the right software you can download and read it. To download a docx you would need Microsolf Word 2007 and up, to read odt you would need Open Office. Its like they were using an older version of Microsolf, then upgraded forgeting that by default it won't save a file as a doc instead it saves it as docx. There need to be a tutorial on the upload page for written work that show them how to convert these files into txt, doc, rtf, or pdf. Because while I can download format like docx and odt I know that others can't, and they shouldn't have to download or buy a new program just so they can.

I'm making plans to the RMFC Aug 6-9 with  chewymusicwolf , and  kihu . Is there anyone who is going to the con but doesn't have a room? As long as your willing to pay your share of the split cost which would be 93.89$ which would also cover three nights, we would be willing to have you onbored. If anyone is interested please contact me as soon as possible.

Normally at this time I'd be on FAF reading the through the Rants and Raves section. It provides good wholesome entertainment, but cant since the forums are down. When are they going to be fixed!!! I know the administrators are doing thier best to get it up and running again but I'm so bored, and there aren't any new stories being posted by my favorite authors right either. Maybe I should list some of my favorite authors here on FA to pass the time, here it goes in no particular order.

As the title says, which would likely provide better service on internet and television? I don't bs answers, I'm trying to figure out which is better because the landlord has tould comcast that they can no longer provide service to the trailer park that I live in.

I going to the RMFC tomarrow, hopefully I'll meet a few people from FA there. Though I wish I had pre-registered and planned ahead a little better so I wouldn't have to return home at the end of each day. To anyone who going I'll see you there.

I'm a little curious as to how many people here use my work as backgrounds for thier computer? Since I render them at 1280x800 which I think is the standard dimension for many computers these days.

I've recieved my registration confirmation, now I need to figure out the bus route to get there.

To go or not to go that is the question. It's being held in Denver Co and I live in Golden Co, so it's practicaly in my back yard so to speak. It's a perfect opportunity to go to a fur con for the first time, yet I'm so hesitent to register for it.

As the title says, I've got my wireless internet set up on my new computer. My old one was shot down some spyware which lead to really aggravating week where I had to use my mothers computer for typing essays or looking around online. I'm hoping that I can at least extract most of my files from my old computer, though if I can't it's no big loss. Just don't expect any fractal art from me for a little while, because I've got to reinstall all the fractal programs that I had and I've got to remodivate myself to make more.

(P.S. People who make spyware, virus's, ect. need to get a life.)

It's been awhile but I'm finally going to start submitting my work again.
