Projects and What I'm Currently Working On
Posted a week agoWhat I'm Currently Working On
- Still broke, trying to fix that. Warhammer and my other hobbies eat at my paltry funds.
- Improving my grammar and vocabulary (am idiot), as well as quality of writing.
- "The Devil's Right Hand". A multi-part story set in the Fallout universe featuring Scarlett and Trailmix.
Part one is 2/3s complete, working on last 3rd and finalizing drafts. I originally intended for a one and done post...that's not happening. It has quickly, but not unpleasantly, grew into something larger. Now it requires dedicated worldbuilding, rather than the quick and loose worldbuilding I had initially done. Once I get part one out, I'll dedicate myself to developing Scarlett and Trailmix more before returning to the second part. Separation allows for an easier viewing and reading experience, allows me to dedicate more time which should improve quality, and multiple posts casts a wider net to potentially draw eyes. Still deciding if Fallout is mainline cannon or AU.
- Hybrid dossier providing detailed information on Hybrids
Deciding on what I'll include (I keep choice information to myself. Gives me flexibility, doesn't spoil anything, etc). How should I format it? Out of universe explanation? Or do I deliver through a character within the universe? Leaning towards latter. Deciding upon structure too.
Building and titling Dietrich and Soleus's setting.
Lots of worldbuilding and decisions I have to make. Time period is still in question, but I've mostly settled upon the "Pike and shot era" (late 15th century to late 17th, so 1490s-1690s). How common is magic? Low, high, or Medium? Feeling medium magic setting, though in all likelihood I'll vary by region or location. Do I focus on a globe or a region on said globe? May go with the latter. I could keep going. Currently working on: origins and ancient history of the setting, what races will I make or include? I believe I have a fun idea for elves! Developing the Haven and how it functions, and making decisions in regards to Soleus and what I'll need to do with what pertains to him.
Projects
- Biographies and backgrounds. Have some I need to re-write, others I've mostly completed, and others I need to start.
- Folder groups and folders.
- Story featuring Dietrich (I've made the doc and have written a singular sentence).
- Story featuring Soleus.
- "Deal Breakers", a short story featuring the Dalca family, specifically Folsom and one of his brothers.
-Miscellaneous stories.

Page Guide & Beginnings
Posted a month agoAfter nearly three months I believe I've worked this account to a somewhat functional state. Took me as long as it did as I'm a bit sporadic and tend to jump from subject to subject, project to protect. Other times I lose the will or motivation to continue projects as well. I need to add folder groups and folders for miscellaneous items, lore and worldbuilding, brainstorming, idea workshop, miscellaneous stories, and moreābut these aren't a current priority as my notes app preforms these functions.
Page Guide
Quintessential - Images and stories I feel perfectly capture or represent the character. This will include works such as: ref sheets, text biographies, character backstories, and the aforementioned stories and artwork that I believe to be excellent representations. These folders will also contain general information and what I will call "hooks".
Please don't be offended if something I commissioned from you isn't in this folder. Not every piece of art I commission, nor story I or others write, is being commissioned or written with the purpose of belonging to this folder.
Artwork - Contains all the artwork I commission for the specific character. This will include AUs and the like.
Stories - Contains all the stories I or others have written in regards to the specific character, with notable exceptions.
Alternate folder - For characters who I feel can fit different settings or time periods, stories and artwork that differentiate from the primary "cannon" may be found here.
