I was looking back at some of my older posts on here and got a bit of a nostalgia kick. I kinda miss having a written outlet like this (even if it's only a one a week sorta thing).

Honestly it helps a little bit knowing that this account is kinda dead and most people I knew irl don't bother with this site anymore. So, I figure I can kinda relax and not be so internally uptight about personal info I share. I'd also love to get discussions going with people like I used to in some of my older posts.

I want to get a tablet that can run Paint Tool SAI on it to encourage myself to doodle more when I'm at home. Right now I've got a Nexus 9 that runs android and drawing is probably the one thing I don't like about it.

From what I've been seeing around the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 (or 3) is the most popular option followed by Samsung and Asus products. The Lenovo Yoga is one that some Windows rep suggested to me, but I'm not sold on it (it looks extremely rad tho).

Please throw in your two cents on the topic because I'm very interested in hearing what other people have to say!

Had tons of fun at FurSquared this past weekend! Got to spend a lot of time roaming around in Harvard, drawing with people, and attending panels. I'll most likely be doing a photo spam when I find all the stuff from the con.

Also(!) since I was wearing Harvard most of the time,  wavey took Blitz out for a spin and even participated in the dance competition with her on! Hopefully I'll be able to find a YouTube video of it soon enough so I can share.

Lots of things happening most exciting of which being I'm buying a house! Got an offer put in and accepted so in about two months I should be moving in to my very own home!!

Before that all happens though, I'll be headed back to Fur Squared again for this year's go around. Hoping to kick my ass in gear and actually finish up the rest of Harvard's suit. All that's left are his hands and feet really.

If anyone else is going and wants to hang just gimme a holler! I'll probably be in suit for, like, 85% of the time so look for me that way and we can chill for a while

Anyways I almost didn't end up going to Furry Migration last minute but I'm soooo glad I did! I had an amazing time, got to debut my new suit/sona Harvard(!!!!!!), and made some really awesome friends. I'm not exactly a socialite so I tried to go out of my comfort zone and travel around by myself for a fair amount of the con and talk to other people without some sort of crutch to help me out.

Unfortunately going to FM cost a lot more money than originally intended which means I won't be headed to another con for a little while. I might go to MFF if I can work some deals out, but it's a bit of a long shot at this point.

Second: I'm [finally] going to start making suits for commission! I'll be starting up with a few pre-made head/partial designs to get the ball rolling, so keep a watch out for those! I got back from FL nearly two weeks ago now and I never said anything???

I got to go on a "date" and do some other fun things so yeah

anyways my lease ended two days ago, and since I can't move back into the dorms until the 31st at the earliest, I'm living with a co-worker until then

also aside from some small sketch/doodle things yesterday I haven't drawn anything relevant in about a month?? I'll probably get around to doing more when school's in session and I'm actively avoiding art homework by doing other art

guess I'm getting kicked out of my co's apartment for some reason

too scared to ask why but now I have to inconvenience my brother and grandparents to come pick my sorry ass up

Pretty soon I'm going to either be closing my commissions down or drastically raising prices. As nice as it is to get a commission from time to time, I really do have to admit that I don't like doing them. When drawing becomes work I dread having to do it and commissions put that exact stress on me.

Not to mention that if I'm working on a full color commission that takes roughly 7hrs or more to work on, I'm making roughly $3.50/hr or less, which is absolutely absurd.

So I'll either stop and occasionally open up slots or just give my prices a boost (maybe give a base price and then charge by the hour?).

Other than that, I'd like to please ask that people stop telling me to give them my skype name. I'm sorry, but I really don't like to give it out nor do I want to be speaking to people from here, there. I'm not comfortable enough to just add random people unless it's on my terms and I ask first.
