I've decided to play an assortment of games, like, Metroid Prime, Mario Galaxy, Wind Waker, Four Swords Adventures, and lots of others. I'm definitely open to requests from the games I have! I'll try to stream for the whole day, but I will be taking breaks. I might even draw and stuff, who knows! I'll also be chatting and answering any questions you might have.
I don't know about you all, but I'm psyched for this!

General | Posted 13 years agoWell, popular vote seems to be Twilight Princess! Which is fortunate for me, because that's a game I feel most comfortable playing. Since A Link to the Past seemed to be second, I'm going to work on playing that so I can get a better feel for the game, since I haven't gotten much opportunities to play it.
Once I decide on a day and such, I'll try to stream for the whole day, or at least most of the day, so I can allow as many people as possible to be able watch. I will be talking, commenting and answering any questions that get asked. (But please keep them reasonable!)
So keep an eye out, because the next journal I post will be about the day and such. I will let you all know at least a day ahead of time!

Well, I got a cat!
General | Posted 13 years agoActually, this happened a week ago, but I was stupid and didn't update it here. So, copy/pasted from dA:
"Well, I didn't end up getting the tortie I had had my eye on before. She wasn't doing so well when we came back: she had an ear infection. So, we waited and came back almost every day to visit her. She did get somewhat better, but they said she just wasn't acting like she used to, so they think she might be depressed. We just didn't think it was the right time for her to be adopted. So I got a fuzzy shadow instead.
Literally, in a badly lit room, when she closes her eyes, she totally disappears. She's about 2-3 years old, and one of the tiniest kitties I have ever seen. She has HUGE green eyes, and she adores sitting in my window. We got her last evening, so she got to spend the night in my room, and boy, she didn't let me get a good night's sleep at all. She kept going from the window to my bed, walking all over me and purring, and just generally wouldn't settle down. Too excited, probably. But, since she's such a cute little thing, I immediately forgave her.
We're thinking about keeping her name that she got from the shelter, Whispers, since that's exactly what she is, a soft whisper. But, we're also thinking of naming her either Kiki or Jiji, you know, from Kiki's Delivery Service. Since our other kitty that we have seems like such a little Totoro, we thought it would be fun to have a Kiki to match, and the name just fits her. So, I dunno what we'll do.

Artwise, I'm taking some commissions, just saving up some money for some video games I've been meaning to purchase (like SSBB and MP:H) as well as saving up for this year's Renaissance Festival. Also, I'm getting back into Ace Attorney again, so I'm gonna update and rework everything for AA: MT, now that I'm inspired, and possibly do some more fan art, who knows.
Oh, and I recently discovered that now my other big toenail is coming off :/ It seems to be slowly rotting away at the base, so we'll see what happens. I mean, as long as it isn't causing any pain, I'm perfectly happy!

Gonna be away for a couple days
General | Posted 13 years agoYep, just on a trip. Gonna camping out by lake Cowan in Ohio for a little bit, so I won't have internets, but don't worry! I'll still be arting, and I'll be going to my grandparents afterwards, so they have wifi.
And just a little update: I had to get my toenail removed due to some sort of infection that had been going on for months. The person who wrapped up my bleeding toe decided to put some gauze on the bare wound, and when I tried to soak my foot this morning, yee boy, did it stick. Apparently there wasn't another alternative other than to pull it off, and believe me, pulling gauze out of an open wound, that's hanging on like no tomorrow, hurts like hell.
But enough of my complaining. I went and saw Brave today. Good god, that was a great movie, y'all should watch it sometime. Good message, very well animated, and over all amazingly done. I highly recommend it!
And just a little update: I had to get my toenail removed due to some sort of infection that had been going on for months. The person who wrapped up my bleeding toe decided to put some gauze on the bare wound, and when I tried to soak my foot this morning, yee boy, did it stick. Apparently there wasn't another alternative other than to pull it off, and believe me, pulling gauze out of an open wound, that's hanging on like no tomorrow, hurts like hell.

So here's the deal: I take commissions every summer, and to promote that, I always get an ad out on FurAffinity. Thing is, the ad is animated, and the version of PS I have won't animate .gifs. Soo, this is where I need help.
Is there someone out there who would be willing to animate my ad for me? They would probably need to have a version of photoshop CS2 or higher, and they would have to put up with my specific instructions. BUT free art is possibly involved. *cough*sketches*cough* So please let me know if you can help! I would really appreciate it.

General | Posted 13 years agoWell, I guess the title is self explanatory. My cat passed away this morning.
It started yesterday, really, when my mom went out in the yard to water flowers, and saw her sitting on the steps meowing. My mom thought she was just being talkative, so she sat down beside her and petted her. She then noticed that she had some kind of wound in her side, and thought she had gotten into a fight, so she brought her inside, and noticed that she was paralyzed from pretty much the waist down. My mom took Sassy to the vet, and they x-rayed her, only to find some pretty disturbing news.
There was a bullet lodged in her spine.
A goddamn, fucking, bullet.
Do you see what that means? Some asshole or another was probably messing around with a gun, and shot someone's cat. Let me remind you that I live in a pretty urban area, and firearms aren't really easy to acquire.
Well, anyway, her spinal cord was severed, so the surgeon said surgery was't an option. She had absolutely no feeling in her lower body, and didn't have control over her bladder or bowls. Really, our only option was to put her down.
So, we took her home that night, and spent our last night with her. God, it was probably the most depressing thing I've ever witnessed. She could drag herself around by her front legs, but we could tell she was in pain. She wasn't acting like herself. I couldn't even sleep upstairs with her that night, it was just way too hard for me.
The next morning, she was put down. I cried more than I have ever cried in years. Yet, the realization still hasn't really hit me. I still see her, half of me still thinks she'll greet me when I come home. But I know that will never happen, I know that she's gone, forever.
I'm sorry for dumping this all on you guys, but I'd just like to let you all know what I'm going through right now.
I hope you all are well.
