Posted 3 years agoSo, I understand that there has been a lot going on recently and I just wanted to clear some stuff up.
Yes. I spent time as a friend of a well known transphobe (not naming names, since I don't want to start drama or anything), since I enjoyed his art. Granted, throughout this time, I was too busy focusing on work, and the well-being of my network of groups on telegram to allow myself to research about people, or to involve myself with anything else along those lines. However, after all the comments from people, as well as finally getting time to research about the person, I was able to see the extent of their toxicity and transphobia, and promptly cut ties with them.
As someone who has close friends in the LGBTQ+ community, and who has dated people who have transitioned/are transitioning, I want to say, and make this as clear as possible: I do not accept any transphobes, or any transphobia from anyone, or anything, and if I find out that any of the people I'm close to are transphobes, All contact will be cut from them.
I do apologize to anyone who thought I was cherry picking transphobes, or thought I was willingly and knowingly associating myself with transphobes, I honestly didn't know until recently.
