Character Ch-ch-ch-changes.
General | Posted 15 years agoSo i've recently begun making some fairly major changes to my fursona. And of course I did this almost immediately AFTER buying a commission. >_<
ANYWAY, my new character profile is currently a work in progress, and now hosted on my own site, so I got to design and style it from the beginning (Sorry Furbase, love your work and all, but you're just too restrictive for me. Peace) so it is very clean and organized. Let me know what you think (Of the site or character design!)
So, in summary, the changes are as follows:
- Now has king cheetah styled (Complex -- sorry artists! :P) markings (The exact details of which are yet to be finalized.
- Eyebrow Spikes are now actually a designated part of the character.
- Spinal stripes now have dark purple (almost black) scales between the (black) fur, running from skull to tailtip.
- Tail is no longer thick and dragonish in its entirety, the last 20cm or so tapers to a rounded tip, however.
- There will be some scales on the face, but their design has yet to be finalised.
- Proportions have been revised - After Sergiey's height came up, I decided I should make Ticky how I'd imagine him, not basing him directly off my build, thus he has been lightened and made more lean. He now stands about 5'7" (Which is approximately my real height, but appropriate still IMO.), and weighs 65kg -- a change which I feel is more appropriate for the character (And the height also feels right because it puts me at about chest height on Sergiey. :P)
- I'm considering releasing details of Ticky's genitalia. Not because I plan to commission copious quantities of porn, but because I have designed it, and it might as well be included for completeness' sake, right? I'm still toying with this one.
So yes, once again, character profile v2 is currently being worked on. It's available here. Comments, thoughts, criticisms and questions can be directed to the comments section below. :3

Thoughts on art reposting
General | Posted 15 years agoIt's come to my attention that artists don't like their stuff being reposted on the internet, but I find it highly illogical.
If someone is trying to show people how awesome your work is, shouldn't you be excited and happy that someone wants to? I mean unless you're charging for views it makes sense.
I've lost track of the number of artists i've found out about via art blogs all across Tumblr, LJ and the rest of the internet.

New batch of commissioning this month.
General | Posted 16 years agoI've decided that this month I'm going to get a few commissions done. I've already got a couple lined up, and will make a note of them here when they come back. ^..^
I've also decided to start getting Commission Feedback from the artists I commission. The intention here is for me to make life as easy as possible for the people I'm trying to convey my ideas to. If you've done stuff for me, and had a point to make, or just want to tell me I was plenty thorough and should stop worrying about stuff like this, please, Drop me a comment!

I've just gone through and swapped anyone I could over to being followed on FA instead of dA, so, if you've just lost a watch on dA, and gotten a watch by me here, it was probably me. :3

I think I ended up putting about as much effort into the video presentation as I did the picture itself. xD
Put it in HD ;)

ZOMG! That's totally a submission!
General | Posted 16 years ago...But, I can't really take credit 'cause it's just a screenshot from Second Life. Hey, I want SOMETHING to be in my gallery. Better than nothing, right?
Please excuse the fact that there are at least 7 billion other SL screenshots on FA, 90% of which are of characters having sex / with their detachable genital simulations out. At least this doesn't fall into that second category. (I mean, really, that thing is SCARY, and has more controls than a bloody 747.)
Anyway, for the future? I may be giving some vectoring stuff a go. Results may or may not wind up here, depending on the level of crappiness.
