Alright guys, this one is gonna be lengthy so buckle up !

As some of you may know I’m actually studying art irl. I started my third year back in September 2019. Everything was fine, I just came out of an amazing summer. It was very fulfilling and I got to prove to myself what I was capable of. I had some pretty good success on multiple pieces online, met some incredible guys etc. So I got back pretty pumped up, though not super hyped to get back into school rhythm. The first month went pretty well actually, I even manage to do 20 drawings for inktober which I never thought I’d be able to pull off. Though from there things started to go downhill.

As the month of November started to roll in, I started getting insomnia, which doesn’t pair well with the intense work I had to keep up with. On top of that I started having anxiety spikes which gave me irrational thoughts and threw the small stock of confidence I manage to gather this Summer down the drain. I couldn’t keep up and was wondering what could happen to me to have a good reason to stop going there. I struggled a lot and I was only getting more and more exhausted. I had to call in sick multiple times and got very anxious and ashamed for not being able to keep up, while my friends and classmates (which also had their own struggles) kept going.

I finally found at least something that could makes me sleep and that is anxiolytics. They helped me a lot to rest and get some decent nights during the winter holidays (And thankfully at low dosage). But as I tried to lower the dose to avoid an addiction, I found myself unable to sleep more than 6 hours per night. This is not terrible, but it’s still very uncomfortable to keep focused on my internship. In order for me to rest and look after myself, I’ve made the tough decision to take a break from my school classes for the rest of the year. I feel this is the only way I can get my sleep schedule back on track.

Also for some reasons (probably mostly exhaustion), I’m also back at feeling pretty shitty with my art. Like, my brain is actively thinking about the bad or unpolished parts of some drawings I might be working on and literally stamp a big “Your just a big shit” on it. So yeah, I’ve been unable to draw for myself for the past couple months and I’m unable to start even some studies. I’ve already been there in the past and I know I will eventually get out of this but now you know why I haven’t been very active lately.

There is no need to worry though. I have spoken about my issues to those close to me and I see the specialists I need. I just crave a lot of time to myself so I can lick my wounds and rest. Hopefully I’ll be active on here very soon, but for the moment I might still be a bit of a ghost. Despite all this, I have so many plans lined up which I’m keen to work on. I also can’t wait to spend this time to get back in touch with some of y’all on here!

Hey guys !

Just some couple news to say that I'm not dead ! Sorry for the lack of communication but I don't really like journal format of FA. It feels really formal and I feel dumb writting one. I actually try to write one every 2-3 months or so but always end up deleting it. So I'm finally kicking my ass to talk about what happen those last 6 months.

As some of you may knows I entered in an art school and it's basically taking all my time. I'm working there 40 hours a week doing a lot of different things like drawing still and living lifes, painting and sculpting. I'm doing not too bad there for someone who converted himself from computer sciences to art. My skills have greatly improved in many fields and I can't wait for summer break to do some personal work.

Speaking of which, I did a couple sketchs when I had some spare time. I will share them over my other accounts and maybe here if I find the courage to ink, color and shade them. Meanwhile, you will found them my tumblr and my brand new Twitter account, where I'll try to post more update, doodles and silly things. Hope to see you there !

I also hope you've all been well. I passed the 900 watchers milestone recently and I'd like to thanks the people who watched my first horrible drawings as well as the newcomers, hope you all find something to enjoy here !

My Amazingly empty Twitter account

Hey everyone !

I guess you probably saw my substantious decrease in productivity and I’d like to take some time to explain what’s happening behind the curtain, and not just letting my account die without any explanations.

So basically I felt lately that I’m not really getting any progress in my work, I feel like I’m doing the same thing over and over again. I tried to improve myself but since I learned to draw only by instinct, I got no idea of what I’m doing nor where to go from there. So I decided to try to get into an art school. I’ve got a really good one not super far from where I live, but it’s also a very hard and harsh one. But still, I want to become a really good artist, good enough to be able to earn my life with my art, I’m being really really ambitious there.

So I’m working on some pieces to present at an interview for that school. So since I didn’t have a great work output (which is also a thing I’d like to improve by going back to school) it’s now dedicated toward getting a place there. I should be able to know soon enough if I’m in or not. If I am, I will probably back around mid-may until september when it’ll start, and if I’m not well everything will be back to normal I guess.

That’s pretty much it, I hope this wasn’t too long and that there’s people out there who care to know about my life .3. I’ll try to finish the third part of “Public Restroom Shenanigans” soon, so at least it’s out there and not staying a sketch in my folders and yeah, I’d like to thank everybody who watch me, who comment and/or fave my work. You’ve been a great support and I hope I’ll be able to improve a lot to make more awesome content for you guys !

Also my birthday is on the 30th for those who cares .3.

Hey everybody!

I'm kinda trying to get out some sort of art block, I tend to reject every idea I got lately. I'm also lacking some exercice on my skill and the same idea problem stick even if I want to doodle something simple.

So in order to get me back to drawing and you getting some content, I'm opening the ask box on my tumblr. You can ask anything: about me, about my tastes, about how I draw, about the weather if you want, but you can also ask questions to any of my characters and I'll try to doodle some of the answers!

I can't guarantee I'll be able to answer every question nor how fast it'll be, but I'll give a try to some, I will probably try to experiment some stuff while I'm at it.

I know that I'm not a big talker so I wanted to change that a make a small journal to explain why I didn't post anything in about a month now.

So as the title say I've been art blocked for the last couples weeks, had to fight against my own criticism on my work to do more than a sad sketch. I only been active ine the drawing community for 4 months and boy I'm really excited to get back to work for this new year. I want to train hard so here's a glimps of what I want to work on for the next 12 months :

-The end of The private show. Right now I'd like to train a bit before doing them, but the final acts are comming soon ;3

-New OCs (Including female characters =P)

-More hyperness cause you never got enough ! o/

-Some comic strips, with or without a regular schedule, nothing sure yet, I dunno, we'll see :V

Hey everyone ! First journal of FA and it's for annoucing that I'm gonna give a try to commission ! I need to train my skill and I have to change my dying tablet. So for those who'd like to help or just want a small drawing made by a newbie like me, send a note with your character references with the detail of your idea (POV, position, detail in the scene if nescessary, etc...). I'm someone with an open mind so you can ask for pretty much anything except filthy and gore subjects.

Anyway, I'm gonna start with 3 slots for now and I'll open more if I have the time and if of course I've got enough people interested !
