Rabbit Rabbit! *blows the dust off*
General | Posted 4 years agoLate again, as always, and I apologize for that. But hey, it's a new month and you all know what that means, RABBIT RABBIT everyone. Dunno what that is? Click here --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabbi.....rabbit_rabbit.
Hoo boy, wow, can't believe I neglected to post a journal. But here we are, first journal for 2022. Sorry about that. The only excuse(s) I have to even explain my lack of keeping you all up-to-date are laziness, procrastination, lack-of-motivation and real life happenings. Jasmine would tell you otherwise but that's for another day. π
Hopefully, I'll be trying my best to change that in 2022. By the way, doing the obligatory "HAPPY NEW YEAR greetings to each and every one of you all out there. Thanks for sticking around, for enjoying the content I posted for 2021 and here's to whatever I come up with for 2022. Mind you, I still have a backlog of arts to upload and will also be trying to clear that.
My biggest problem with my backlog of art is not posting it, no. I could easily do that. The problem I have is that I'm too much of a perfectionist and when it comes to my commissioned works, I want to craft the PERFECT description to go along with it, which usually involves writing a (short) story and my writing hasn't been as forthcoming as I'd like it to be.
Again, will try my best to be creative in this regard, even if it's just a one (1) paragraph tale.
Oh, by the way, I hope you all had a Happy Christmas. For my family as I, it was the 2nd year (since the COVID-19 pandemic) that we didn't meet. Family on my mum's side usually meets up: all the grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces & nephews, for a big Christmas Meal. Yeah, we usually make a big thing outta it, lots of food, drinks, gifts and just talking with one another and catching up. But like I said, due to COVID-19, a lot of that has changed so we only kept the celebration within our immediate families. It's not the same but it is what we are required to do in order to keep one another safe. Sure, we can have video calls and share Christmas greeting with one another but it'll never replace face-to-face chats.
In any case, despite those drawbacks, I hope you were able to have a Happy Christmas, with your family or otherwise.
As to what I plan to achieve in 2022 goal wise, well, I'm still trying to figure that out. As for content wise, well, next month is No-Fap February so looking forward to that but will probably post another journal coming (hah! XD) closer to that timeframe.
But for now, that's about everything. :3

Why is she such a good girl?? π©
General | Posted 4 years agoOf course, I'm talking about Loona from the latest episode of Helluva Boss, Season 1, episode 6. If you haven't seen it or have NO idea what I'm talking about, you can check out Vivziepop's YouTube Channel for all the episodes
As to why Loona's such a good girl, here's a snippet from episode 6. And of course, SPOILER ALERT if you haven't seen it as yet.
https://youtu.be/jkvH1CLNUMk
And while we're on the subject of Helluva Boss, I mean, we all KNOW that folks have been shipping Stolas and Blitzo since episode 1 but just seeing Blitzo turn on that Owl Demon just by running his finger across his feathers, and watching him FWOOMP out from it just makes me giggle every time.
https://youtu.be/37sdGXvx2X4
And also, I know this is old (2004 to be precise), but of late I've been seeing Van Helsing show on our local Cable TV channels and well, rather than talk about it, I'll just show y'all.

C'mon, you know you're crushing HARD for Werewolf Van Helsing too! X3 Don't judge me! π©

Rabbit Rabbit! + August Update
So yeah, not sure what happened for July as I missed my journal entry but it happens.
Anyways, August is here and I am hoping to get back into the habit of posting my commissioned works as it's piling up on me. And with that, I also wanna thank all the folks who gave my FA a recent +watch, and by recent I mean over the last few months.
Always astonishes me that folks enjoy my characters and the scenarios I place them in. But yeah, thank you for considering my FA worthy enough for a +watch.
Anyways, moving along, movie reviews! :D
Just two (2) that I wanna talk about. The first being WISH DRAGON
https://youtu.be/uWIRyU5fuzU
Without giving spoilers (and from what is revealed in the trailer), it's very much like Disney's Aladdin and I don't mean the live-action version. But I will say that it was still enjoyable and I enjoyed seeing the shenanigans of Long and Din, especially in that traffic scene. X3
And next we have Space Jam: A New Legacy
https://youtu.be/RCsEKvz2mxs
Again, without spoiling the movie, I'd say that I didn't enjoy this as much as I thought I would. I mean, yes, there's a LOT of pop culture references from other movies and/or TV Series, which you will enjoy if you're a movie nerd like myself but that's about it. There's nothing else other than that + the zany antics that comes with the Looney Tunes.
I mean, I was kinda maybe hoping for another muscle Bugs Bunny, as seen in the 1st Space Jam but no such luck. And if you don't know what I'm talking about, watch the clip below.
https://youtu.be/kbaKze622Kg
But yeah, it was meh.
Other than that, I was able to get a taste of the PS5. Yes, you heard me right. A taste.
And no, I do not own a PS5 but I know someone that does and thru the power of technology, I was able to play a PS5 title game thru my PS4. There's this feature called Share Screen (I think that's what it's called?) and two users can share their screen. In this instance, the PS5 owner shared their screen with me and gave me host rights and I was able to play a PS5 title and I must say, I THOROUGHLY enjoyed every bit of it, so much so that I played out the entire game in about the span of 1.5 to 2 weeks. It was amazing! I'll just leave it at that.
Oh, and I did mention in my May journal that I was thinking about getting a PS Plus subscription. Well, I opted to buy the 1 year subscription and saw that Red Dead Redemption 2 Online has some new DLC content, Blood Money I think it's called, so may look into that. If anyone knows more about it, feel free to tell me more about it.
Anyways, that's about it for now. Thanks for taking the time to read my update! <3

Rabbit Rabbit! + June Update
General | Posted 4 years agoSeems I'm always late with these BEGINNING OF THE NEW MONTH journals and I apologize for that. But yes, it's new month, you know what that means, RABBIT RABBIT everyone. Dunno what that is? Click here --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabbi.....rabbit_rabbit.
And we're in June already, the sixth day to be precise. Time is just zooming by.
Anyways, we're still under lockdown and in a State of Emergency (till July 4th I think?), with curfew hours in effect. Yup, you heard right. So from 9pm-5am, no one can be outside their homes unless 1) You're an essential worker going to your job or 2) You have to seek medical attention during those hours. Of course, our Police Service have set up a "CURFEW HOTLINE" that you can call during those times if it is you need to be outside your home during that time, and they will instruct you on what to do in that event.
But yeah, thank goodness I haven't had cause to call that hotline or be outside during the curfew hours and as of today, the curfew hours have been adjusted. Now, from Fridays to Sundays, the new curfew hours will be from 7pm-5am, instead of 9pm-5am. Why? Cuz the number of infection cases are still too high, with the average number of deaths per day being between 15-20 persons with around 200-300 infected cases over a five (5) day period. According to our Ministry of Health, that's an improvement but they are still encouraging citizens to not be complacent and to practice all COVID-19 protocols.
Course, this always has to be repeated as persons still don't comply and are ticketed for either not wearing a face mask while out in public or for breaking the public health ordinances. This has been happening a lot recently since the curfew was implemented and our government has warned its citizens about this, but you know us trinis, always finding a way to "outsmart" the police. *sighs*
Anyways, moving on, I finally finished re-playing Red Dead Redemption 2 and I must say it was a lot of fun not being the "good guy" for a change. So now that I've finished that, decided to install and play Anthem, only to realize that it requires PlayStation+ (PS+).
This I didn't know.
This poses a challenge for me, mainly for the reason that I'm not an "Online" gamer. For lack of a better term, I'm an "Offline" gamer.
So, I checked out the prices for the various PS+ subscriptions and I gotta say, I'm being indecisive in choosing which one to purchase.
Here are the subscription prices:
12 months - US$44.99 (Save 25%). I think normally it's around US$60.00 or thereabouts. But the discount is valid until June 9th.
3 months - US$24.99
1 month - US$9.99
It was suggested to me that I should just try PS+ for 1 month and see if I like it. I did think about that and thought, if I like it, then after having paid the US$9.99, on top of that I'd have to pay again, whether it's the 3 or 12 months subscriptions. If it's the 12 months, I'd loose out on the 25% discount.
But anyways, apart from the online gaming feature, other PS+ features include free monthly games and exclusive member discounts. So yeah, it's not ALL that bad but I guess what I'm asking y'all is, if you are a PS+ member, try and help me decide which subscription I should buy.
Moving along, Marvel's Loki starts on Wednesday 09-JUN-2021 and I'm really excited for it. And speaking of Disney characters, later this month is Stitch day, 6-26 or June 26, however you wanna look at it. Would folks be interested is seeing one of my OCs drawn as a "Stitch-like" character? You know, the lil blue alien with the four arms?
Let me know in the comments and if there's enough appeal for it, I might just have it done.
So yeah, that's all for now I suppose.

Rabbit Rabbit! + Update
General | Posted 4 years agoI'm fours day late but still, it's new month, you know what that means, RABBIT RABBIT everyone. Dunno what that is? Click here --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabbi.....rabbit_rabbit.
We're already into the fifth month of the year, can you believe it?
Anyways, my last journal, I spoke about measures that our Prime Minister put in place to restrict the spread of the virus, and in less than a week, he again addressed the nation and added even more measures.
1) All food service will be discontinued (street food vendors included).
2) Essential services (groceries, pharmacies, hardware stores, financial institutions, etc) remain open but can only operate between the hours of 6am to 8pm.
3) Manufacturing Sector remains open but all non-essential retail businesses will remain closed until further notice.
So yeah, indirectly we've been placed on a curfew because now, if you're outside after 8pm, you really don't have an excuse as businesses will close at 8pm. All this is to be in place till May 23rd, when our Prime Minister will next again address the nation and hopefully lift these restrictions.
But yeah, what else have I been up to? Work has been keeping me busy, as per usual and my hours have changed but that was to be expected with the new restrictions. Apart from that, I've been also trying to keep up with posting the backlog of artwork I've commissioned. I just finished posting my Tiger's Wish sequence, which ended today. As I said in the last sequence of that posting, thanks to everyone you faved, commented and left a +watch on my FA. I'm glad that folks seem to enjoy my lil strange set of kinks. As to what I'll post next, not quite sure but I do hope you all will enjoy it all the same! :D
As for gaming, with my birthday last month, decided to buy myself a game from the PlayStation Store. It's called Anthem. I know very little about it and haven't started playing it as yet. That's because I recently decided to replay Red Dead Redemption 2 but this time, instead of being a goody-too-shoes, I'm just being bad, not caring about anybody and shooting whoever mouths off to me. Course, this has caused my moral meter to go in the red but like I said, I wanted to play differently this time around. So after that, then I will start Anthem.
As for movies/tv shows, well, there hasn't been much that caught my attention. I mean, apart from the recently concluded Marvel TV Series, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, I watched Nobody.
https://youtu.be/wZti8QKBWPo
I'll say this much, if you enjoyed JOHN WICK, you'll enjoy this.
But as I mentioned Marvel, I only realized that two (2) years ago, around this same time, we had Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War in theatres and then around this same time, last year, we had Avengers: Endgame. And lo and behold, Marvel releases a trailer for their lineup of movies:
Black Widow: 09-JUL-2021
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings: 03-SEP-2021
Eternals: 05-NOV-2021
Spider-Man No Way Home: 17-DEC-2021
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: 25-MAR-2022
Thor Love and Thunder: 06-MAY-2022
Black Panther Wakanda Forever: 08-JUL-2022
The Marvels: 11-NOV-2022
Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania: 17-FEB-2023
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3: 05-MAY-2023
And a hint of maybe a new Fantastic Four?
You can watch the trailer below.
https://youtu.be/QdpxoFcdORI
But in the short term, I'm looking forward too Marvel's Loki, which starts 09-JUN-2021. I'm not sure how many episodes it'll be but I am guessing it'll end just before the release of the Black Widow movie. YOu can see the Loki announcement below

Post-Birthday Update
General | Posted 4 years agoFigured I'd make a journal about this since it has been my second birthday during the global pandemic.
First off, THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to wish me a happy birthday. It meant a lot to me as I really could not do much of anything as our country, Trinidad & Tobago, has been placed under restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. More about that later.
So, how did this kitty celebrate his birthday? Well, nothing of significance. I didn't take the day off from work as I knew I'd be working remotely that day (as in working from home) so it was kind of relaxed, with the exception of a few work-related phone calls here and there, doing software updates, etc. I work in technical support, for those who don't know. Mom cooked me a nice birthday lunch (yes, I still live at home with my parents :P), which was delicious. It was not my usual birthday steak but I wasn't going to kick up a fuss. Like I mentioned earlier, because of COVID-19, couldn't do much but will get to that shortly. The highlight of my birthday I'd say was being able to go to the blood bank and voluntarily donate blood. It's about the only SAFE thing I could do as I know hospitals are sanitized and clean. Oh, I also forgot to mention that I had my birthday carrot cake brought to me, which I paid for, by the way. So yeah, it was a quiet day with just my parents.
So why so many COVID-19 restrictions? Well, simply put, our population got complacent during the Easter period, where school children were on leave/vacation and a lotta folks were congregating and not following health protocols. As a result, our Prime Minister, in consultation with the Ministry of Health, implemented measures for a three (3) week period, twenty-one (21) days, that was supposed to curb the spread of the virus:
1) No more in-house dining at restaurants, bars, casinos, cinemas, etc.
2) Public Gatherings were reduced from 10 persons to 5 persons
3) All beaches closed to the public.
This is in effect till May 23rd but over the last few days, there was a spike in COVID-19 cases, with yesterday (29-APR-2021) having the highest recorded number of cases ever - 328 positive cases.
Because of this, our Prime Minister implemented even more stricter measures. He announced the following services and establishments will be closed:
Restaurants
Bars
Places of Worship
Malls
Spas/Hair Salons/Barber Shops
Gyms/Fitness Centers
Casinos
Cinemas
He also announced the following:
1. The Public Service will operate on essential services only.
2. Flights to Tobago will be limited to 3 flights to a day
3. The ferry service to Tobago will operate at 25% capacity
Of course, he also said that persons are not to travel to Tobago unless it is essential or an emergency.
4. All Tour Services are to end.
So yeah, it's gonna be a LONG three weeks and I just hope the numbers decrease. :(
First off, THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to wish me a happy birthday.
Rabbit Rabbit! + April Celebrations
General | Posted 4 years agoI'm a day late but still, it's new month, you know what that means, RABBIT RABBIT everyone. Dunno what that is? Click here --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabbi.....rabbit_rabbit.
Another Macro/Micro March has come and gone and I must admit I was lazy on my part to post commissioned works of that theme. Part of it was laziness but also not having the right description(s) for the submission. For those new to my page, I usually like to post a short story and/or narrative with my pics but I just can't seem to get the creative juices flowing whenever I sit down to pen one of these stories. This causes artwork to pile up and creates a backlog and I'm trying my best to tackle it.
Hopefully you all don't mind the wait and I thank you for putting up with the delay.
Anyways, unto the celebrations part of this journal. Our family normally has a LOT to celebrate every April as we have four (4) birthdays this month + a wedding anniversary. It'll be the second year of celebrating (or not) under restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic but we try to make the best of it. And yes, one (1) of those four (4) birthdays will be mine. I'll probably do the same thing I did last year and just have a quiet meal with the parents as our country is still under a lockdown cuz of an increase in COVID-19 cases. I dunno if it'll be lifted in time for me to go out to a restaurant and enjoy a good steak but we'll see.
Oh, and for all of your PlayStation Fans out there, they're helping folks who are under lockdown enjoy their quarantine time better by giving away FREE GAMES. Yup, you heard right. FREE GAMES. I've already downloaded a few: Ratchet & Clank, Abzu and Sub Nautica just to mention a few but I am more interested in the Virtual Reality Games that they offered. I downloaded two (2) Paper Beast and Moss. Now, I don't own a PlayStation VR headset and before I buy one, just wanna ask you folks out there who may have played these games before, are they worth it? My fear is that I spend the money on the VR headset, only to discover that the games aren't worth it and I lose out.
So yeah, for those who've played Paper Beast and Moss, share your thoughts. I'd like to know. :3

Rabbit Rabbit! + Macro March Madness
General | Posted 5 years agoOh, and as it's 1st of the new month, you know what that means, RABBIT RABBIT everyone. Dunno what that is? Click here --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabbi.....rabbit_rabbit.
So No Fap February has come (HAH!) and gone and with it brings the start of Macro March! YES! All thing big and looming and different in sizes.
What that means for you? Well, I'll very much try to post commissioned pics that fit the bill. They may not ALL contain some aspect of macro/micro or size difference but I'm sure there'll be some degree of bigness involved.
Anyhoo, other than that, still hanging in there, with the beginning of March 2021 making it a whole year now since the CORONAVIRUS has been around.
Wow, I can't imagine that a whole year has passed, and now we have grown accustomed to what is now termed "the new normal".
But, I hope you folks are doing well, that you're staying safe and practicing all health measures and protocols that have been issued by your respective country's Ministry of Health.

Rabbit Rabbit! + NFF 2021 Challenge!
General | Posted 5 years agoWow, can't believe the 1st month of 2021 has already come (hah! XD) and gone.
Oh, and as it's 1st of the new month, you know what that means, RABBIT RABBIT everyone. Dunno what that is? Click here --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabbi.....rabbit_rabbit.
So yeah, don't know what NFF is? It stands for No Fap February and yes, it is what you think it is. In fact, it's very my like No Nut November, except that it's less days.
So yeah, I'm taking the NFF 2021 Challenge, which means no masturbating and seeing how long I can try to last for this month.
No incentive or anything on my part.
Well, maybe just art of Tiger suffering cuz of NFF but that depends on my mood lol! π Which means you all get to see his pain. π
If you wanna join in, feel free. Share your experience(s) thus far and document the struggles! XD
As for me, I'll fall back on playing video games and burying myself in work to keep myself distracted. π

Rabbit Rabbit! + Happy 2021!
General | Posted 5 years agoA bit late this month as it's 04-JAN-2021 but you know what that means, RABBIT RABBIT everyone. Dunno what that is? Click here --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabbi.....rabbit_rabbit.
Also, Happy New Year! 2020 has departed and we're now in 2021, the start of a new decade!
Now, with the new year comes the "new resolutions" and plans that persons make to better themselves or what they plan on doing differently that they didn't do from the year before.
I mean, I did give it some thought and three (3) things popped up in my mind. First one, and most important to me, is to just keep up with posting artwork, and clear out my backlog of commissioned works. The reason why I don't post art immediately when I commission it is:
* I usually wait for the artist to post my commission on their FA so that I can link back to it when I do upload it to my FA Gallery.
* Most times I like to write a short story to go along with the artwork, to give it some kinda lore and/or background. Helps to develop the characters more, at least in my opinion. However, this is easier said than done as most times, the creative juices don't flow as freely and I just end up staring at the pic, with nothing coming to mind.
Second thing, is that I wanna try and be more interactive in social circles, both here (as in online thru social media - Discord, Telegram, etc.) and offline. I've observed for myself that for me it's just work. I mean, I do get a chance to unplug from work and immerse myself in my video games but even that can seem boring at times if there's nothing new to hold my attention. I have taken up gardening as a means of getting outdoors since the pandemic has restricted us from congregating or going out so there's that.
Third thing is that I wanna get more involved with my characters. For a long time I've felt that I've lost connection with my characters and while I am grateful for the new watchers to my FA, the favs and comments, I feel as if my characters are not developing and/or growing beyond what I've listed on their reference sheets. I wanna build worlds for them, explore their origins, maybe even expand their horizons and plot a future for them.
So yeah, hoping I can focus on this for 2021.

Rabbit Rabbit!
General | Posted 5 years agoA bit late this month as it's 04-DEC-2020 but you know what that means, RABBIT RABBIT everyone. Dunno what that is? Click here --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabbi.....rabbit_rabbit.
So yeah, NNN has cum (HA!) and gone, and I can say I'm glad it's over. To say that it was a rough month would be a joke but again, glad it's over. Those days and weeks dragged out and boy oh boy it seemed like forever! XD
Anyways, December is upon us and with that comes festive and cheer! You know, Christmas music on the radio, the flashing of Christmas lights and other decorations, the abundance of Christmas Sales/Deals/Specials and finally, the preparation of the drinks and foods for the Christmas Day celebrations!
However, this year, Christmas will be VERY much different. Our country's Ministry of Health (and by extension our Government) have been and are encouraging its citizens to, and I quote, "spend a quiet Christmas with your immediate household". Basically, this means that we are not to go and visit family/friends/loved ones for the Christmas season. This is rather difficult because you see, Christmas in Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) centres around family and togetherness and "liming" (which basically means hanging out and having a good time). And normally, barring COVID-19, we Trinbagonians would do that, especially around the Christmas season, even more so on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Like for instance, with my family, we (that is my immediate family, plus extended family, which includes but isn't limited to Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Grandparents and Grandkids, would all gather by a venue (usually a family member's home) on Christmas Day and have dinner, which is usually a big spread. It's normally a "potluck" where family members are responsible for bringing a particular food item, dessert and/or drink. Of course, it's all coordinated so that we don't end up bringing two (2) of the same item but yeah, it's usually a fun time cuz I get to see family that I wouldn't normally see during the year, plus I get to catch up with them and just enjoy one another's company. But with COVID-19, that has changed plans. So Christmas Day will be much like how y'all celebrated Thanksgiving in the USA, either alone by yourself or with just who is in your home. But of course, thanks to technology, we'll be able to use Social Media and have a Virtual Christmas Day Celebration. I suspect that is what we'll do coming closer to the day but I haven't heard anything as yet.
Granted though, I'll still be making my festive drinks, I usually do, just that I won't be able to share with my extended family.
So yeah, other than that, I still haven't finished GHOST OF TSUSHIMA as I got distracted with playing Dead Space 2 on HARDCORE, which is kicking my tail btw, and also Titanfall 2, which was a fun gameplay. I want a BT-7274 to look out for me! π If you haven't played the game, I would recommend it as it's a good storyline. May or may not tug at your heartstrings.
Also, I started watching and have finished the new ANAMANICS 2020 reboot. It's only thirteen (13) episodes for Season 1 and boy oh boy, it didn't take us furries long to jump on THIS bandwagon! π€£
If you've watched the episodes, then you'll know what I mean. Social Media (namely Twitter and FA) were a buzz with these two (2) new characters.
The first being Benedict Dragon --> grabbed a screenshot of him HERE. Without spoiling it too much for those who haven't seen said episode (which is 2 I believe), he's a thespian dragon (JAZZ CLAWS XD) who is a fan of the arts! Very silly episode, which I enjoyed.
The next character is Julia Brain. Yes, she appears in Episode 8. Again, don't wanna ruin with spoilers but there's a scene where Julia goes crazy. EAT THE CHILDREN! BLAARGH! Thankfully, a clip of said scene is on YouTube and I just enjoyed watching this.
https://youtu.be/EKKoIZlX9Zg
I haven't looked it up but I'm sure there's R34 artwork of these characters. Look it up at your own risk! π€£
And speaking of Animaniacs, there's this Cello musician, whose work I follow on YouTube. She uploads Cello music for all sorts of TV shows, but most recently was for Animaniacs. Betcha you can not NOT sing along as the video plays lol! Whether you choose to sing the original theme song or the rebooted one is up to you! π€£
https://youtu.be/A8cMyR94O5Y
Other than that, I suppose I will post further updates as they develop.
What was your favourite episode or scene from the newly rebooted Anamianiacs 2020? Feel free to share your thoughts down below! π

Continued T&T Lockdown Pt. 3
General | Posted 5 years agoSo yeah, just to update from the last journal here, our Prime Minister addressed the nation on Saturday 21-NOV-2020, to update the Nation on the relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions currently in place to combat the spread of it.
- Food service will be allowed in casinos, and hunting will resume by next weekend. However, the Hunting Season will NOT be extended.
- Our Prime Minister said that there will be no State-sponsored Christmas parties in the public sector this year, and this is to ensure there is no congregating. He called on citizens to have a responsible Christmas by observing the Public Health protocols on COVID-19, including social distancing and mask wearing. The Prime Minister again stated that it is his hope to allow children to go back to school in January 2021 but this would be misplaced if people "free up" for Christmas and congregate in large numbers. The Health Minister also made a call to businesses, religious groups and Non-Government Organisations to forego Christmas parties and events this year. He said, "Let this be a holy and quiet Christmas. Celebrate within your family unit."
- An announcement on the opening of schools will be made in January 2021 - after the Christmas Season. The Prime Minister said if the COVID-19 numbers are high over the Christmas Season, schools will not open in January. He also clarified that the entire school population will not return to school but a cohort will start the process.
- Most villas/guesthouses in Tobago are booked for the Christmas/New Year period. Noting that this is good for the Tobago economy, the Prime Minister called on (local) travelers to Tobago to maintain health protocols. "It would not take very many mistakes of misconduct to make Tobago highly infected.". The Prime Minister also noted that Caribbean Airlines (our local airline company) has made proposals to use an early result testing programme which will have benefits for travel to and from Tobago.
- The Chief Medical Officer Dr. Roshan Parasram reported that there has been a slight increase in COVID-cases, with a daily average of thirty-seven (37). He said this is a cause for concern. Dr. Parasram said the clusters are between families, friends, workplaces, and gatherings where people are taking off their masks because they are comfortable. He said if we do not continue to observe the public health protocols, fifty (50) cases can soon become one hundred (100) cases.
- The Prime Minister again clarified that bars are open in Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) to sell alcohol. However, congregation is NOT ALLOWED.
- The Minister of Finance has been instructed to find an additional TT$10 million to treat with employees at bars and restaurants who have lost their jobs or suffered reduced income. Proprietors can also apply for small business support. An additional TT$20 million will also go towards Social Services, including support for self employed citizens who lost income over the period.
- T&Tβs borders remain CLOSED but exemptions continue to be granted for Nationals to return home, as well as those who want to leave T&T.
- Tobago House Assembly Health Secretary Tracy Davidson-Celestine confirmed that Tobago has had no new COVID-19 cases in the last twenty-five (25) days but she said this does not mean the island is COVID-free. Secretary Davidson-Celestine urged people to come forward for testing if they develop COVID-19 symptoms. She also called on citizens to engage in a "reset" at this time. There are many options and facilities available to help.
- General Manager of Primary Care at the Tobago Regional Health Authority (TRHA), Dr. Roxanne Mitchell, credited a very aggressive Primary and Secondary contact tracing effort for no new COVID-19 cases in the last twenty-five (25) days in Tobago. However, she noted that people are still not wearing their masks properly, and they should not be lulled into a sense of complacency.
- The Health Minister again calls on citizens to get the flu vaccine. He is hoping to complete the Flu Vaccination Drive by April 2021.
So yeah, from all accounts, if you've read this far, our T&T Government is urging the population NOT to congregate for the Christmas parties/celebrations/festivities and to continue practicing ALL COVID-19 Health protocols, proper mask-wearing, social distancing and washing of hands with soap and water and/or sanitizing.
I think what I will miss the most are the Christmas celebrations. December is usually a busy season for me as I partake in a lot of Christmas Activities, from the Christmas office parties to actual Christmas Day celebrations with family, friends and loved ones. It's busy for me as I usually prepare an assortment of festive drinks for said celebrations: Sorrel, Sorrel Liqueur, Ginger Beer & Ponche-De-Creme. Feel free to Google those drinks or you can watch this YouTube video. You'll see some of the Christmas foods and drinks we here in T&T partake in.
https://youtu.be/G_EX19FGaow
Of course, none of that will be happening this year and more so, we won't be gathering with extended family on Christmas Day, which is a BIG thing for us as it's the time of the year where we all get to see one another (as we may not have been able to visit family, for one reason or another).
So yeah, dunno what'll happen come December 25th. Maybe I can hang out with you guys on a Discord party or something? π

Maybe I can hang out with you guys on a Discord party or something? π

General | Posted 5 years agoIt's the first of the month and you know what that means, RABBIT RABBIT everyone. Dunno what that is? Click here --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabbi.....rabbit_rabbit.
And yes, this month's No-Nut Growvember. Similar to No-Fap February, I'll try to go thru the entire month without busting a nut. Till December 1st. Or for as long as I can hold out. π
So that explains the "No-Nut" part, but what about the Growvember bit? Well, for those who know my OC (TigerClaw) well, when he gets pent up, he tends to bulk up as all that energy doesn't get released. So, may or may not get some art revolving around that idea but we'll see how that goes .
So yeah, gonna have to find things to keep my paws busy (besides work) so that I don't be tempted lol. XD
I mean, I have yet to finish GHOST OF TSUSHIMA so I have that to keep me occupied I suppose? Plus my never-ending backlog of commissioned arts that I haven't posted, cuz lazy kitty is lazy. I guess I can try channeling my idleness into story-writing so there's that. π©
Anyways, not much else to say. Oh, and if you wanna join in on the No-Nut November trend, feel free to do so. Leave a comment on how you plan to "distract" yourself for the entire month.

Continued T&T Lockdown Pt. 2
General | Posted 5 years agoSo yeah, just to update from the last journal here, our Prime Minister addressed the nation on Saturday 24-OCT-2020, to update the Nation on the relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions currently in place to combat the spread of it.
Here's the summary breakdown of what was said:
1. Places of worship are now open for one (1) hour services. Social distancing and a capacity of fifty percent (50%) must be observed.
2. Public Service Workers are out (in full force) from today, Monday October 26th 2020.
3. Gyms are open and must operate at fifty percent (50%) capacity.
4. Adults involved in education who must do lab work (aviation etc.) will be granted an exemption.
5. Casinos, Members Clubs, Cinemas now open and will operate at a fifty percent (50%) capacity. There will be no eating and drinking at these establishments. They will operate from 8AM to 8PM.
6. Beaches to be open from 6AM to 6PM.
7. Groups of no more than ten (10) people remain in effect.
8. Pool facilities at hotels and guesthouses are allowed to be used.
9. Mask wearing remains mandatory.
Now, of course, this did NOT go well with the business community, namely bars and restaurant owners as they are to remain CLOSED for indoor dining and other services. The Prime Minister asks for patience, namely for two (2) weeks exactly, at which time the Government will examine the current COVID-19 cases and determine whether it is "safe" for them to reopen. The reason being for the bars and restaurants not reopening, our Prime Minister said, and I quote, "If we mishandle COVID-19, we could easily end up like one of those American cities where the hospitals are full to capacity and there are ambulances outside with more patients... We could end up in a situation where the morgue is full and there are more bodies outside."
Now, honestly, I haven't been keeping abreast of the figures in the USA but I can only guess that based on what our PM said, things must be REALLY bad there if he could use an example like that.
Another thing that didn't make sense from that list is the no eating and/or drinking at cinemas/casinos/members clubs.
Now, I don't gamble but what I do enjoy is going to the "movies" as I call it. But if I can't eat my popcorn and drink my Coke whilst watching a movie, then why even bother? I might as well stay home and watch said movie instead where I can have my popcorn and Coke. π
Might take a chance and go to the beach, will see if I can as I have a few days off this week.
So, until then, wash your hands/paws everyone, wear your face mask and stay safe!

Continued T&T Lockdown
General | Posted 5 years agoSo yeah, just an update from my last journal here, our Prime Minister addressed the nation on Saturday 12-SEP-2020 to basically tell us that the partial lockdown will continue to be in effect for another month, until 11-OCT-2020. So the measures that persons/business places were required to practice from before will remain in effect.
Of course, the "BIG" thing now is that not all persons are complying with the Public Health Laws that the Ministry of Health published and some persons are trying to find loopholes in said laws.
Most recently was a pool party that took place in an apartment complex, that clearly had more than five (5) persons. The current COVID-19 public health laws forbids groups of five (5) persons and more gathering in any public space, however, the problem was that this pool party took place in an apartment complex, which isn't classified as "public space". The Police were called but all they could do was just advise said group of persons that they had to disperse. Of course, this raised the proverbial hornet's nest in our nation as the population is citing that the Police are giving special treatment to this group of persons, as opposed to other situations where persons, who were partying at other venues, were arrested and charged for breaking the Public Health Laws.
The only difference, was that these other situation took place in public spaces. So basically, what has the population so angry with the Police is that the appearance of special treatment, but they (Police) say that based on the current Public Health Laws, there's a fine line between a public space VS a private space and so they have no authority to arrest persons gathering in a PRIVATE space.
The head of the Police Unit went further on to say, "As it pertains to private places, as the Prime Minister rightly stated, persons were being irresponsible, but as police, we cannot police or arrest people for stupidity. It puts us in a very difficult situation to lockdown the country to prevent the virus from spreading by making sure persons adhere to the restrictions."
So the MOST that Police can do tell citizens, under the existing laws, to ensure that persons act more responsibly and mature.
But we all know that that won't be the case as persons will continue to flout the law as long as they can find a loophole in it.
Dunno if other T&T furs agree with me, but feel free to comment and share your thoughts.

Rabbit Rabbit + the new normal
General | Posted 5 years agoIt's the first of the month and you know what that means, RABBIT RABBIT everyone. Dunno what that is? Click here --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabbit_rabbit_rabbit
And following up from my last journal, it's official. The Order of the Government of Trinidad & Tobago has passed the law that makes wearing masks MANDATORY. This means that once you are on the public road in a vehicle or in a public space, you will be required to wear something that covers your nose, mouth and chin. The only exception to this is that children under the age of eight (8) years and persons operating a vehicle or vessel alone.
Of course, the Government listed also listed reasonable excuses for not wearing a mask, which include:
* Medical, physical or mental illness or impairment which inhibits the personβs ability to wear a mask or face shield. They advised that persons who have a medical condition that impairs their ability to wear a mask, to carry proof of such as it would be up to the police officer to determine if the mask law applies to them or not.
* If the person is travelling with or providing assistance to someone that relies on lip reading to communicate.
* If the person removes the face covering to prevent harm or injury to themselves or others.
* If the person is escaping risk of harm and does not have a face covering with them.
* If it is reasonably necessary for the person to temporarily remove the mask to eat, drink or take medication.
* If a request is made for the person to remove the face covering for security/identification purposes.
The Government also stated that fitness activities was NOT excluded from the mask wearing regulations, once you are in a public space, you are required to wear a mask. They declared that ALL citizens are to comply with the mask wearing regulations regardless of station, this included elected officials, protective services and even the socially displaced. Work is currently underway to ensure that masks are provided to the socially displaced.
They further indicated that if children, 8 years or older are alone, they CAN be fined for not wearing a mask in public. Anyone caught by police not wearing a face mask in public can be subjected to a fixed penalty fine of TT$1,000.00 for the first offense, TT$2,000.00 for the second offense and TT$3,000.00 for the third offense.
In cases where persons are fined and believe that they had a valid reason for not wearing a mask, the matter can be taken to court and contested.
So yeah... this will stay in place till 14-SEP-2020 when the partial lockdown is lifted but even then, it's not for sure as the Government will make it's decision based on the COVID-19 situation.
So, until then, wear your face mask whenever you're out in a public space, wash your hands with soap and water and maintain your social distance of six (6) feet.

State of Tiger - August 2020
General | Posted 5 years agoWow! It's been SO long since I posted a journal here.
Apologies for that, as well as my apparent lack of updates here. Despite that, I'm still amazed at how many faves I receive on commissioned artworks, as well as +watches from other FA users. So thanks for that.
So what've I been up too? Mostly work and whatnot. I work in Technical Support (for a financial institution) and when this whole COVID-19 pandemic started in my country, everyone at the company wanted to be able to work from home and not have to come into office. So for the period MAR-JUN 2020, Tech. Support was busy configuring laptops for our internal users. We were receiving more service tickets for laptops than we had, so we ended up having to rent laptops, which meant installing our own software on said rentals and giving them a crash course in how to use the VPN portal to be able to connect to our network. Needless to say, that went by fast as in a span of two (2) days Tech. Support had configured about sixty plus (60+) rental laptops. Mind you though, this was costing us money (as they were rentals) so in the background, management was putting thru orders to purchase laptops - which meant that we'd have to go thru the process of configuring them as well. That happened around mid June, and just like the rentals, we had to work two (2) days straight to prep and configure these laptops. But this time around as a bit longer as we had to install software that would encrypt these laptops. So that meant giving the same users another crash-course in how to use these encrypted laptops, as the company implemented another level of Security and who can blame them? With everyone working from home now (globally speaking), it's easier for persons to be hacked and whatnot. Of course, with deploying these new laptops, we had to take back the rentals and ensure that what we received initially from the vendor is what we're returning to them, so that's been fun too.
Anyways, it was during this period that the country reopened, after having been under lockdown for about three (3) months, and there was much rejoicing! Bar, restaurants (for dine-in customers), cinemas, casinos/members clubs, gyms, places of worship, parks/beaches/rivers and other establishments were able to reopen and things seemed as if they were returning to a state of normalcy as COVID-19 cases were on the low. And things were okay for JULY but as August rolled around, well, the number of positive COVID-19 cases started to increase. I think this was due in part to the fact that it was Election Season and a lot of political parties were campaigning, having rallies and doing "walkabouts". Also, our population got "relaxed" with the COVID-19 as persons weren't wearing their masks when out in public, not practicing social distancing, etc.
Well, the elections came and went, and the previous government got re-elected for another five (5) years. Of course, the Opposition didn't like this one bit and so requested a re-count of ballots and poll cards, which is still being done. Until that's completed, the newly re-elected Government cannot be sworn in as yet.
And as if that wasn't bad enough, due to the recent spike (not to mention deaths as well) of COVID-19, the Prime Minister announced last Saturday (15-AUG-2020) that the country will go back into a partial lockdown for twenty-eight (28) days, which took effect yesterday (Monday 17-AUG-2020) at 6:00am. That meant bar, restaurants (for dine-in customers), cinemas, casinos/members clubs, places of worship, parks/beaches/rivers and other establishments would go into lock-down again. Public gatherings would be restricted to just five (5) persons, public transportation would operate at fifty percent (50%) capacity and domestic travelling between our islands would be only for Essential Services. Not to mention, all schools and teaching institutions, which were scheduled to reopen in September, will remained closed till year end and not likely reopen until January 2021.
So, on the eve of the restrictions taking effect, that is on the Sunday, hundreds (if not thousands), of persons flocked to the beaches/rivers/bars/cinemas/restaurants to just enjoy their favourite place(s) before the partial lockdown came into effect. Of course, this meant large gatherings of persons congregating and in one instance, the Police Service had to shut down a party event as there were too many persons gathering, which was in breach of the Public Health Ordinance Act.
So, as of this morning, Tuesday 18-AUG-2020, there are 448 active cases of COVID-19 and twelve (12) persons who have died from it. This number was initially at eight (8) but jumped to its current number in as little as a few days and this has put the country into a panic. Well, not sure about the ENTIRE country but for me at least. It doesn't go without saying that our Chief Medical Officer has advised the World Health Organisation (WHO) that our country is now listed as Community Spread with regards to COVID-19.
Apart from what the Government has already been doing to remind persons to practice the COVID-19 measures (washing hands with soap and water, using hand sanitizers, keeping six [6] feet apart), the Prime Minister is talking with the Attorney General to look into legislation for the mandatory wearing of face masks. They have stopped using persuasion and are now looking into more stricter measures to MAKE PERSONS WEAR FACE MASKS. This doesn't come as a surprise to me, given how lackadaisical our populous has become.
But enough about that, what do I plan to do for this month?
Well, I wanna get back into posting my backlog of commissions on a more regular basis.
As for gaming (yes, I'm a PS4 gamer) I recently completed The Last of Us Part 2 and it was intense. That's all I'll say without spoiling it for those who haven't played it.
Right now, I'm playing Ghost of Tsushima and it's a VAST, open world game with loads of exploring to do. It very much reminds me of Red Dead Redemption 2 but that's just me.
Movies/TV series, I've slowly been re-watching Darkwing Duck, and in between I've started watching BNA: Brand New Animal. Of course, I found a torrent for the version that's Japanese with English subtitles, which persons say is better. But I wanna find the BNA version that's in English. Why? Cuz I wanna hear how the voice actor Benjamin Diskin portrays Shiro Ogami. I mean, I think he did a great job on the voice acting for Legoshi so yeah. Now, I *KNOW* that BNA is on NetFlix and that the English version is there but maybe I'm just lazy? So yeah, if you've got the torrent for the ENGLISH version of BNA, that is the English Voice Acting, and don't mind sharing the link for it, send me a note here.
And to end on a lighter note, I've been following this Cello Player on YouTube. She's been arranging music for 80's cartoon themes and I must say, when listening to them, it makes me feel like a child all over again. I've linked a few of my favourites and if you're old enough to remember these, comment below and make some noise!

COVID-19 aka Coronavirus Update 6
General | Posted 5 years agoAs of today, 06-APR-2020, we've had 105 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and the eighth (8th) death.
So our Prime Minister held a press conference this morning to update the nation on the state of affairs and stricter measures have been put into place. And they will ensure that citizens adhere to these new measures.
For one, the STAY AT HOME order has been extended till the end of April. What was supposed to be two (2) weeks has been extended to a month. The Government has taken this position to get persons to stay home, stay safe and not give the COVID-19 virus the opportunity to spread within a community.
Second, ALL restaurants/fast food outlets are now closed also till the end of April. Yup, no more delivery or curb side pickup. So of course, consumers all over the nation were rushing to their favourite fast food outlets to get that last taste of whatever they were buying (KFC, Subway, Pizza, etc), to at least hold them till month end. That means more people will be cooking at home, which means they'll most likely rush the groceries.... again... and panic buy.
Thirdly, the operating/business hours of some essential services has been reduced.
Hardware and Plumbing/Electrical stores open from 8am to 12noon
All pharmacies are to close at 8pm
All supermarkets, markets, bakeries are to close at 6pm
Food Services (where one can buy in bulk) are to close by 8pm.
Fourthly, effective immediately, all persons in public are to wear masks. The Ministry of Health is set to distribute said masks in due course but for now, I guess I'll have to tie a cloth around my face when I go outside.
Fifthly, the reopening of all schools (Primary, Secondary and Tertiary), which was set for 20-APR-2020, will not be so and as a result this will push back local examinations for all students across the board. The Ministry of Education will meet with its stakeholders to determine when's the next possible date for the reopening of all schools.
So, yeah, that's about all.
Stay safe everyone and wash your hands.

Rabbit Rabbit + COVID-19 aka Coronavirus Update 5
General | Posted 5 years agoIt's the first of the month and you know what that means, RABBIT RABBIT everyone. Dunno what that is? Click here --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabbit_rabbit_rabbit
Well, I'll get straight into things, as of yesterday, 31-MAR-2020, we've had eighty-nine (89) confirmed cases of COVID-19 and the fourth (4th) death.
It's been day two (2) of the country's fifteen (15) day lockdown and measures are ramping up. Today, our Minister of National Security reduced the number of persons allowed to gather from ten (10) to just five (5).
And there has been an increase in the number of police and local army patrolling the streets. Basically, if you're not essential, then you have no reason to be out on the streets, unless you're going to the grocery or pharmacy. If you can't back up why you're outside your home if or when you're stopped by the local police and/or army, you can be charged and either fined (TT$50,000.00) or spend six (6) months in prison. Yup, I wish I was making this up. These are the measures that the Government has put in place to ensure persons stay at home over the next two (2) weeks in order to "flatten the curve" and give this COVID-19 a much lesser chance of spreading.
It'd be foolish to say that I'm not scared and frightened at this point, as my job has deemed me essential and has issued me a LETTER OF AUTHORISATION to show to the police/army should they stop me and ask why I'm outside my home. I shouldn't have nothing to fear but still, they was a video circulating of police officers harassing and (dare I say) antagonizing socially displaced persons but the Commissioner of Police re-assured the nation that there will always be rogue elements in any workforce, that an investigation has been launched into the matter, and that citizens/workers should have nothing to fear once they're deemed essential and leaving their homes for legitimate reasons.
So, I have one day to work this week, as in physically go in to the office, whilst for the rest of the week I'm working from home so I'll see how that goes, the day I have to leave home to head in the office I mean.
Other than that, I've been trying to keep my mind busy of late. Hasbro recently released fifteen (15) full episodes of G.I. Joe on their YouTube Channel, and that's been keeping me busy for the time being, until I finish watching it and find something else to binge-watch.
Before that was Beastars, which I don't want to get into at the moment as I feel I'd need to dedicate a separate journal to share my thoughts on it.
I heard Star Trek: Picard was decent and I may look into that more.
Haven't played much of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order as I kinda got bored of that but I should really continue it as I don't like to leave things unfinished. Which also reminds me, I need to restart Shadow of the Colossus also.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, it's AWESOME APRIL. Apart from wanting to post more of my backlogged commissioned artworks, it's also my birth month. Yup, I'm an April baby. :3 You'll all find out when's my birthday as I'll most likely post a celebratory happy birthday journal, although, with the way how things are going right now, I'm not sure how much of a birthday it'll be.
Anyways, I've said enough.
Stay safe everyone and wash your hands.

COVID-19 aka Coronavirus Update 4
General | Posted 5 years agoToady, 27-MAR-2020, we recorded our second (2nd) death as a result of the COVID-19 disease.
The patient was another elderly male with a pre-existing medical condition.
As a result, the Ministry of Health had another press conference this morning to address the matter and here are the highlights:
1) The Government has implemented a STAY AT HOME ORDER from 30-MAR-2020 to 15-APR-2020.
2) The Government has deemed that only ESSENTIAL SECTORS/SERVICES will be opened during this time:
Judiciary Services, Legal Services, Parliament Sittings, Primary Emergency and Protective Services, Immigration Services, Social Services, Basic Services for Health, Water, Electricity, Telecommunications and Sanitation, Supermarkets, Discount Shops, Hardware Stores, Banks and Pharmacies. Energy services, oil and gas industry will remain open. They are considered essential services and only essential workers will be working. Construction sites and construction workers are NOT deemed to be essential workers. However construction workers building health facilities will be allowed to work. The Police and Defence Force to ensure workers abide by these new guidelines that come into effect at midnight on Sunday 29-MAR-2020. Essential workers must walk with both their work and national IDs at all times. Employers also asked to issue 'Essential Work' letters for their employees to keep on hand to show to the Police and Defence Force.
3) Ministry of National Security: All government services are CLOSED apart from Ministries and Municipal Corporations.
4) National Security Minister advises citizens to exercise at home. No exercising in public.
5) Minister of National Security: All public transport and motor vehicles should be limited to fifty percent (50%) capacity.
Guess I was wrong. Things DID escalate.
I'll be curled up in a ball for the next 2 1/2 weeks.
Stay safe everyone and wash your hands.

COVID-19 aka Coronavirus Update 3
General | Posted 5 years agoAs of yesterday, 25-MAR-2020, we recorded our first (1st) death as a result of the COVID-19 disease.
The patient was an elderly male with a pre-existing medical condition.
Now more the ever, I'm trying not to give in my recent feelings of anxiety and fright as now the Government is imploring, nay I say, pleading with persons to stay home and avoid going anywhere unless absolutely necessary. Otherwise, the Government, under the advice of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), has said they will impose the Quarantine Act, which has three (3) levels.
Under the Quarantine Act, the Government can do one of the three:
1) They can physically remove you from your residence and place you in an area of quarantine until you're no longer a health hazard to others.
2) They can place you under house arrest and have the police patrol your neighborhood to ensure that you do not leave your home.
3) They can imprison you for a period no less that six (6) months and fine you up to TT$6,000.00.
Now, I'm hoping that things won't escalate to that point where the Government has to impose said act in order to make folks comply and be "socially responsible" but the truth of the matter is, we're stubborn people and I'm almost certain this will happen, short of a national State of Emergency.
The Government continues to reassure the public that there is no need to panic and that they are putting measures in place to assist those who have been affected by the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic, that is, to provide a relief grant for persons that were either retrenched, dismissed or are now receiving a reduction in their pay. In addition, I'm grateful to the Ministry's position on providing financial assistance to persons who may be paying rent but cannot afford to do so now, and moreover showing concerning for the nation's children who were receiving meals out of the school feeding programme (which is now on hold due to all schools being closed) and that their parents will be receiving a food card if they were not the recipient of one already.
And they've launched a Psychologist hotline for persons to call if they're experiencing persistent and overwhelming emotions.
So, it's not all bad really but still, I'm hoping that things don't escalate.
Stay safe everyone and wash your hands.

COVID-19 aka Coronavirus Update 2
General | Posted 6 years agoIn my last update I mentioned that my country had seven (7) confirmed cases. Well that number has jumped dramatically to fifty (50).
Yup, that's right, fifty (50). It should be said though that most, if not ALL, of these cases are imported, meaning persons that contracted the disease came into contact with someone who had it while they were abroad, as in not in our country.
All confirmed cases are being treated in facilities that are not part of the public healthcare service to ensure that spreading of the COVID-19 is reduced (greatly) and that it doesn't put a strain on our hospitals.
However, as a result of this, our government has taken measures to not have any further persons infected and so they've closed ALL airports and seaports to both nationals and non-nationals.
I can't blame the government for that but still, it's a bit scary now that we're shut off. I suppose it's a necessary step to ensure the health of the nation.
And of course, the Government continues to remind citizens to exercise proper hygiene (wash hands regularly and sanitize commonly used hard surfaces as often as possible) and to maintain social distancing as much as possible. Only leave your home if necessary and when you do, plan your route and head back home immediately.
As for work, well, from this week we'll be implementing a five (5) hour work day shift system, so I only have to go in for five (5) hours each day and come back straight home afterwards. I'm not too keen on it but it is what it is and hopefully it won't be so bad.
Still feeling anxious though but I don't wanna slip into that feeling.
Stay safe everyone and wash your hands.
