Biding time in Limbo
Posted 13 years agoSo it's been a couple of years since I said I would finish the requests on my list, and I still very well intend to do them--no worries there; however, my plan right now is to fine tune my skills at my own pace so I can invest less time in doing them with better results than I could produce right now with twice the time. Personally, I think those kept waiting will find that the ridiculously long wait was well worth it when I attack the list with a potent arsenal of at least roughly polished photoshop skills.
Even now, I've just made a breakthrough in creating fur without incorporating actual fur photos, and I dare say in any color as well. My recent submission speaks of the prototype technique relating to this, so hold onto your hats--I'll get there eventually.

Unfortunate revision
Posted 14 years agoProgress on photomanipulations has been halted to a crawl the entire school semester, as most may have already figured out. Reasons for this are not entirely related to school, suffice to say immediate priorities eclipse working on requests.
While I am not taking new requests anytime soon, it's a different story if there's compensation for the considerable amount time I put into a Photomanipulation (ie: trade/pay).
Sorry guys, as much as I'd love to continue doing photomanipulations for fun, I no longer have the luxury of investing time in something purely for the fun of it and making people happy.
I hope you understand.
Note: People previously on my request list will still get their requests done, but progress is going to be slow.

Back from the land of no privacy
Posted 14 years agoAlright, I dropped off the face of the internet for the two months of break I had. Why? Well, for one, the CRT monitor was too big for my tiny desk at home to handle, and thus I could not setup in my room. Second, everywhere else lacked the privacy and quiet I needed for computer work, especially photomanipulations. In a nutshell, that's what happened.
Now? Back to school for my last semester, which means extra priority to school work, and finding employment for post-graduation. However, since I recieved a better power supply and a new monitor from an early birthday, it should be a bit easier to work through photomanipulations. On the downside, I lost 512 MB of RAM and the DDR advantage along with it, but hopefully that will not crop up in photoshop.
That's it for now, though I may consider limiting requests if they become too numerous during the semester. I find that unlikely given the track record.

Trades (Trades will always take immediate priority.)
Requests (There is no general order to which I do requests. Numbers are simply for personal reference)
1. Cat - Awaiting photo [TF world]
2. Tabby or ? for Doryuu - Experimentation phase
3. Mountain Lion for Mermade - Awaiting photo
4. Multiple felines - Material gathering phase [TF world]

In general, I only do feline photomanipulations. This is just as much a factor of the photomanipulating process holding my attention with felines as it is my own interest in felines.
Trades are the exception. Unless I see a major problem with the proposed trade or just plain don't feel like starting a non-feline photomanipulation (usually infrequent in the case of a trade) , I'm open to anything.
