Lil' Bit, our once 16lb bowling ball of a tabby, passed peacefully this morning. He was 13, picked up as a stray kitten by my daughter while attending a wedding. he was cuddly, and purry, oh, he had the deepest purr. We are down to one, now. It never gets any easier.

Is gone. June Foray, voice of Rocky the flying squirrel, and many other characters, passed away Thursday at the age of 99. She did Rocket J. Squirrel, Natasha Fatale, Granny, Witch Hazel, Lucifer the cat in Cinderella, Various other VA roles, even Jokey Smurf and Miss Prissy, Foghorn Leghorn's spinster foil. A grand lady with a great talent.

I'm starting to really, really hate this......


Albert Temple, aka Gene Catlow, passed away from natural causes March 9th. One of my favorite webcomics, and one of the ones that got me into the furry scene, is done, cut off in mid-story. To Albert's family, my deepest condolences. We lost a giant.

Bill Paxton, star of Twister, passed away today after heart surgery. As a weather geek, this strikes a bit close to home. He was 61.

Just found out that Carrie Fisher, aka Princes Leia, passed this morning after her heart attack over the weekend.

One of the shows my daughters and I watched together back when was Zoboomafoo. The Kratt brothers told about wildlife and such and their cohort was a lemur named Zoboo. (Pronounced Za-boo). The lemur that primarily played Zoboo was named Jovian, and he passed away today at the age of 20.5 from kidney failure. Look up his story, he's quite a remarkable lemur.



So, part of my girls' childhood passes. So many famous faces have passed in 2016. I'll be glad when this year is over.

Must come to an end. One of my favorite webcomics, and one of my earliest introductions into the furry fandom has come to an end.

September 15 marked the last comic for Sabrina Online 20 years to the day after its debut. Eric  EWS Schwartz says that there will be stand alone shorts and artwork, but the regular monthly comic is completed with the marriage of Sabrina to R.C.

The comic has always been fun, and funny, with a bit of social satire and Transformers thrown in.

Happy wedding day, and night, Sabby and R.C. May the characters, fanfics, and general fun continue as you inspire readers new and old. Great job, kids.

As most everyone has heard, Kenny Baker, the actor inside R2D2, passed away yesterday.

Goodbye R2, you shall be missed.

As a Star Wars fan since 1977, I can only say one thing......
