I'm new here. But not to the fandom
Posted 8 years agoI'm a bit of a bumbling idiot, so if I say something reaaaaaaally stupid, couldja please let me know?
I've been drawing anthro animals pretty much my whole life, but didn't know there was a group of people who did the same until around fifth grade. I've sort of dwelt on the edges of the fandom starting in seventh grade, but I've never been to a con or anything. Not enough money, absolutely not enough time.
You'd assume that since I've been drawing for so long, I'd be good at it, yes? NOPE. I can draw one thing really well, and that's bats. My very first character/OC was a bat, and she was a part of the Silverwing universe. A lot of my style comes from those days. You'll also see some Akira Toriyama influences as well, since I got into DBZ around the same time I got serious about art.
I really love writing. Heck, I may ask for writing ideas now and again. I have this writing exercise I do where I create a one or two page story based off of three words, and I'd highly recommend it.
I don't know what the point of this was, but it felt right to put it out there.
I really love Robert A. Heinlein.
Bye?
