I was watching an old episode of the Twilight Zone and I could really relate to the main character. A washed up actress longs to return to her glory days.

I don't consider myself "washed up" YET,,, but I remember sitting in that movie theatre 27 years ago wishing I could just dive into the movie screen and be there in Toontown with Roger Rabbit and all those guys.

Rod Serling's closing statement really struck a chord with me.

Furries, WE DID THAT.
With foam and fur and hot glue we gave our dreams a dimension all its own in a way man has never done before.

I am thinking about giving youtube another try.
I HAD a youtube channel years ago, but I moved to vimeo because youtube did some stupid shit.
5 years later I realize that ALL websites do stupid shit so what difference does it even make anymore.
A few years ago, vimeo redesigned their website and made it "better". In the process, ALL my video descriptions were ERASED.
NOW, they have EDITED my profile info/bio without my knowledge or permission. I had a sentence or 2 in there saying vimeo was "screwed up" and they removed that.

I make my videos so people can see them. Vimeo just never got the traffic youtube has. I see some furries with SEVERAL THOUSAND subscribers on youtube.
I went to see how many I have on vimeo and I have to get a paid membership to get that info. :P

I am showing some videos at AC and after that I might put them on a new youtube channel.

AND HERE IS WHERE I NEED YOUR HELP.

What about copyrighted music? I see tens of thousands of songs and videos of just music on youtube.

Scooter put that on his youtube and the audio got muted for copyright violation.
EVEN THOUGH it was playing in the background ON A CELL PHONE and Greifer was SINGING OVER IT.
Really? Does Frankie Valli really care if Greifer sings his 50 year old song in the shower?
So what's the trick? What's the secret? Do I need to put some sort of disclaimer in such a video?
Or credit the artist?
Or provide a link to download that song on itunes?
Or get a hand written notarized letter from the ghost of Lawrence Welk?
What will satisfy the youtube gods so that I can share my videos with a larger audience?
Over the years I have had so many people tell me my videos got them into fursuiting.
I want to continue that.

I recently heard about a fursuit being lost and I have very little experience flying with fursuits, but I would like to give some advice.
Firestormsix said "CARRY ON your head and footpaws" ...Those are the most expensive parts of a fursuit.
Heck wear your tail if you can. Is there any rule against that?

PUT ALL PIECES IN A PLASTIC BAG in case something spills on it or it lands in a mud puddle.
True Story....I bought a t-shirt on ebay once and someone at the postal service spilled coffee all over the package and wrote "sorry" on the package.
OK,,, honest accident. Luckily the seller put the shirt in a plastic bag so no damage done.

I remember someone had their action packer bust open somewhere along the way and furry body pieces everywhere.
SAFETY PIN YOUR NAME, ADDRESS AND PHONE # ON EVERY BODY PART. With a business card or index card.

KEEP TRYING.... DON'T GIVE UP. If my memory serves me correctly, same person kept checking around for WEEKS and finally spoke to ONE PERSON who said "Wait,, did you say a FURRY WOLF COSTUME? I think I have seen that....we have that here!

And put your info AND A PIC OF THE FURSUIT ON THE INSIDE AND THE OUTSIDE of the action packer AND THE LID.

I am sorry to announce that Greifer will NOT be appearing at MCFC. He IS retired and I just have not had the time to make Greifer v2. Greifer was quite disappointed when I told him this a few weeks ago.
But I DO have good news!
I got a hand written letter in the mail from Greifer's Amish cousin in Intercourse, PA saying HE would like to go to MCFC as the theme is "down on the farm". So I will be picking him up from the train station on my way to Novi, MI.

Be sure to say "willkom" to Ezra Yoder if you see him at MCFC.

The best fursuit video I have seen all year makes me feel like I am floating thru a dream.
It is so smooth, yet bouncy.... so wild , yet so subdued.
And any fursuiter who jumps head over heels into a swimming pool is a cool kid in my opinion.

10.The hotel had a breakfast buffet for $10 in the past, hopefully that will be the case this year.

Well 2015 should be an exciting year for me. It marks 10 years of my involvement with the furry fandom.
Lots of videos and fursuits in the works.
I am GOH at Motor City Fur Con and I am really looking forward to that.
