Twitch and Discord
Posted a year agoHey guys! I have started streaming video games on Twitch again! It's been years since I've streamed anything and am loving getting back into it. The only thing I'm currently missing is you! That's right, I would love to have more people hanging out with me while I play some games. On that note, I have opened up my long idle Discord server again!
We will be working on integration, automation, and all the other 'ations that go with these services. For now, they are operating in a beta state if you will. Functional, but not even close to finished.
We will be keeping the content of both servers SFW adjacent. This means, I don't expect things to stay strictly SFW, but would like them to stay closer to SFW than to NSFW.
Please join and help the community grow!

Your help needed for more art!
Posted 2 years agoSo I made a Google form you can go through to help me pick what types of art I should focus on. So, if you have a minute and would like to help me pick what projects to work on, click through it real quick. Your feedback is very much appreciated. You can even give me feedback on the last question that's completely open, so you can give feedback on anything, even the feedback form!
You can find the form HERE!

Holiday contest?
Posted 2 years agoJust testing the waters to see of there is any interest in either a Thanksgiving, generic fall, Christmas, or general winter themed giveaway. Like the raffles and such I've done before. If you are interested, lemme know here and maybe toss a suggestion or two for a prize.
Right... Journals are a thing...
Posted 2 years agoI should really actually post journals more....
I've been in a semi art block mood for a while, but am slowly clawing my way out. Got a commission that I'm starting on, but am also looking for more stuff to do. I have an art todo list I keep and would love to add more ideas to it. If you have something you would like to see me draw, lemme know. I will add anything I find interesting to the list. I love trying to draw new and different things.

Art tips for the new year!
Posted 3 years agoWith the new year starting I will as always, be pushing myself to improve my art in both quality and quantity. With this drive, I thought I would share some tips and lessons I've learned over the years. Some through a painfully slow process... I strongly encourage you to add your own in the comments!
So here they are in no particular order;
The eraser is an art tool, not for mistakes. Ctrl+Z is for mistakes. The eraser is amazing at shaving down and reshaping lines.
Save... save frequently, save alternate versions, save copies at important steps. This saves you so much pain and lets you experiment without loosing anything if you don't like it.
When in doubt, add some color to your inks. When struggling to figure my inks out I will often add a quick flats layer under them to give them weight. This helps so much figuring things out.
Digital art is stupid easy to edit. Don't kill yourself picking out colors or working on sizes or anything. Step back, look at it, if it's not what you want edit it. We have the option of looking at the whole picture and changing things later.
Layers are your closest friend... and secret enemy. Separating things into layers helps so much, but too many layers just makes it confusing to work on.
Keep your layers organized, groups are good.
Work on a new layer, flatten it down when you are happy with it. This lets you go crazy without worrying about messing up what you have already done.
Share your work good or bad. I'm terrible at this one.... it feels good to share and people can't give you input if they can't see it... I have so many half finished sketches and art pieces that have never seen the light of day.
Use references. That's plural. Don't pic a single image to reference, have a few to look at, it will keep your from just copying what you see. Reference good, copy bad.
Comment on other peoples work. Again... I'm terrible at this. Input is amazing, we all want it, but nobody does it. Try to give good comments. What do you like or not like about something? Good and bad input are both valuable as long as they are constructive.
Your comfort zone is a trap. Avoid it at all costs. Push to try new and different things. Sticking to what you are familiar with can make your art grow very stale.
These are mostly here for me to reference myself but I do hope these help someone else too. I'm looking forward to a fresh year for art and creative projects!

General Updates - Comms and Possible Raffle!
Posted 3 years agoGreetings all!
I have been so very busy lately as work has been having to make quite a bit of cuts and I've been pulling a bit more slack than normal. I've been doing my best to still get my daily art time in every morning and working on commissions and a bit of personal art as well. I have been having a blast with commission work and would love to add a few more to the list.
I also am loving to see this new account starting to reach the point my original account was at. I am closing in on 80 watchers and can't wait to get to 100. I am planning on doing some sort of free art raffle when I hit 100 watchers. So if you want a chance at some free art spread the word. When I hit 100 watchers I will open a free art raffle!

YCH Commissions
Posted 3 years agoI figured a proper journal post about my art with generic characters would be a good thing.
So: Any personal art I do with generic characters can be considered a YCH piece.
I am more than happy to go back and alter or redraw something to fit your character in place of a generic one.

Reduced commisions! Looking to practice some feral/anthro...
Posted 3 years ago-> Closed, but stay tuned fo future sales!<-
I typically draw either feral or anthro, very rare I draw them together. To practice this I'm offering a limited number buy one charachter get one free commission.
The only requirement to get one is that the two characters are a feral and an anthro. Like the idea but want more than two? Discounts on a third character are certainly possible.
Want a slot? Send me a note! Know someone who would be interested let them know! I sincerely appreciate any help spreading the word.

Projects and Progress: Help Wanted
Posted 3 years agoI've been doing great at making sure I keep working on something, keeping an art project going at all times and working on my TTRPG setting for The Lifted Tail but might need a little push here and there. I tend to slack off when dealing with my own projects and not so much on commissions and such. So, while I have no commissions going please feel free to poke me to keep me going.
My big things I'm trying to work on right now are:
Backgrounds - Trying to get away from lazy backgrounds
Character Interactions - More multi-character works
Shading - Still a big weak point for me
Scenes - I want more art that is a set up scene
Stories - I need to get back into writing
Mini Stories - I like the little mini stories I sometimes do with art. I need more of these.
If you see me not doing any of these please give me a slap and tell me to get back to work.

Time for more art projects... Help!
Posted 3 years agoAs it currently stands, I have no real project to work on art wise. I am doing some writing, making a full setting for The Lifted Tail to be used primarily in 5e D&D, but will keep it written in a way that will allow use in other TTRPG's or just writing and art in general.
That said... it still leaves me with no active projects art wise. No commissions, no nothing. Help! I need some things to work on people!
Ideas are quite welcome.

Posted 4 years agoI've been apart of the community for quite a while, and have always used the same account. However, recent personal events have given me the need for a fresh start. So here we are. I hope this new face on an old soul serves me as well, and for as many years as my previous self.
