First steps into the world of Fur.
Posted 13 years agoNew to this site and to the idea of Anthropomorphism as a participant. I grew up in a rather diverse group of friends and some were Anthropomorphic artists in high school so I've never really had an aversion to furry art, in fact I thought it was really neat how they gave animals human-like physiques and characteristics, but never chose to delve into why I was so okay with it. So years later, after a couple conversations with friends who are furries I started to realize that my interests in the furry culture and mentality were a tad stronger than I had admitted to myself prior and I've decided to explore this avenue.
The more I see and learn, the more I'm drawn into the furry community and have started my journey to find out what my animal(s) could be. I've narrowed it down to canine but I'm not sure which particular species. I'm thankful to the friends who support my experimentation and to those who helped me get started by providing me with various resources (such as this site) to test and feed my curiosity. As with any fun journey, keeping a log of your adventures and experiences is a fun and self-enlightening way to see where you started in comparison to where you ended up.
So here is my first journal entry into the world of fur and hopefully not my last.
Let the adventure begin!
