Acceptable Use Policy
Posted 15 years agoWow, I actually got an image pulled for violating the A.U.P. of the site.
I'm not mad, I find this really funny.
I mean, F.A. is a website dedicated to, powered by, and run pretty much exclusively for, the accumulation of pr0n and fapping material. I'm sitting off in a niche of people who make art with a camera instead of a pencil, and get scolded for posting a picture of a boi in underwear. (The boi was myself, if anyone didn't see it and was curious.)
I mean, I can kind of understand the logic. In this litigious society you can get away with drawing pictures of things you'd never get away with actually doing. It only makes sense the admins would want to stomp on anyone who brushes into the realm of actual real activities, because that's brushing against the realm that could get F.A. into legal trouble.
But underwear? Are you serious? You can walk around in public in your underwear.
Here's the really funny part. In the few hours the image was up, I got faves, comments, watches, etc. Not any single photo I've posted in a long time has garnered as much attention.
I think there's multiple lessons to learn from this. I'm just not sure what they are.
