Oh, hello there!

Long time no post and all that~
Some quick updates:
- I *might* be opening up commissions again, soon. If I do, you'll know~
- Life's been good, despite the the world being on fire, but it hasn't been too terrible for me, at least.
- I hope y'all that still watch me, or just happen to come across this journal, are doing well and keeping your heads up <3
- I'm still working full time at my game company, Dire Wolf Digital

On the note of the game company: Some people might already know about the Dune Imperium Board game.
We also just announced the expansion: Rise of IX (I didn't have any part of that one really, but it's cool and I'm proud of my colleagues~)

Hey Y'all!

Things have been super busy at work.

We released our own game. It's now live and in beta. It's called Eternal and is a really fun card game. I don't play card games and I really enjoy this one!

Hello everyone!

The point of this journal is to let everyone know that I will be officially closing commission/freelance work requests after the new-year.
I don't know when I will be opening them again, so they will be closing indefinitely. If I do open them again, they will be greatly limited and open for a very short amount of time.
I simply do not have the time to do them, and I'd rather not leave people hanging for as long as I've been needing to, which breaks my heart.

SO NOW! Important stuff:

• From now until January 1, 2016, I will accept commission requests. After that date, I will no longer be accepting requests unless under very special circumstances.
These requests will go under "Reserved" or "On Hold"

• If you would like to request a commission or 2 for a later date and be put on the "reserved list", you have until New Years day to get in contact with me.

• If you have already requested a commission, you are still good to go for one. I will be getting back to these people to make sure that they are still okay with being on the reserved list once I am able to get to them.

Gwaaah!! It's my 6th week of work, and I'm learning and getting the hang of things and working my butt off, and it's wonderful~

This job is basically one of my dreams, and I couldn't be happier! =D
Buuut because of that, my commission work has literally slowed down to a crawl =C

These are the following reasons:
• My job takes about 12.5 hours out of my day (I leave for work at 7am and get home at around 8:30/9pm) and I go to bed at around 10 or 11pm.
So in saying that, I literally have no time to work on commissions during the weekday, so that leaves me weekends to catch up on that and on sleep.

• I haven't been able to touch any of Commission work for the past 2 weeks though, due to sickness last week that was spreading around the office (didn't get out of bed on saturday or sunday until 11pm either day) and I had things to attend to last weekend for Halloween & Catching up on rest I didn't get that week because of cold.


That should be the end of not having any time, though. This weekend should be a lot less hectic, and I'll actually (hopefully) be able to get at least 1 commission done, and move onto the next.

To the people that are understanding and super patient with me, I can't thank you enough!!
Seriously though. Commission work is super fun to do, and a nice break from doing game-art on the weekdays. Your commissions WILL be completed, albeit slowly. But it's a thing that will be done.

Gosh darn it.

But anyway, I hope you all are doing well and taking care of yourselves!

Hey guys~!

Sooo, I got a studio art job! Woo!
Long story short, place I interned at 2 years ago contacted me and I'm going to be a Junior Artist there. It's technically "Temporary" for 3 months, with the full potential of turning into permanent/full time. I start on the 28th, maybe sooner if things sort themselves out right away!

So yes! Things are happening (Also, being an adult is terrifying.)

Commissions are still open. I have 2 available slots right now, and am plugging away at getting the ones that I have completed C=

How is everybody, btw?

Hey lovelies!

Sooo... I wanted to give just a tiny bit of incite as to what's been up/why I'm not posting as much of late/have been super super slow on my commission work:

I have depression and anxiety that comes and goes at irregular intervals. It's not something that I talk about a lot, even with my close friends since I usually power through it.
Very recently, it was triggered and hit super hard and has been coming & going for the past couple of months. Because of that, drawing in general has been sparse and it sucks =<

But, the good news is, it's abated for the last couple days, so all is well with me for now (which feels wonderful!) So yay for that! Just have to remember that depression lies, things will be fine, and I'm surrounded by cool people including you guys C=

It's my birthday today, so I got to go to a fancy restaurant with my close family, we ate good food, had some good laughs, and I feel re-energized from spending some time with them. It's been a very good day over all so far C=


But yes, in all, I wanted to take some time to explain my absence, say "hello" and "what's up?", and wish you guys well! I hope that things are going alright for all you lovelies!

My commissions are technically closed right now, but I am accepting "reserved spots" that will begin after I'm done with my current queue. Hello all you lovely people c=

Wanted to give a brief update here, for those interested and such!
Most of last and this week, I've been recovering from a random sickness/bug that left me unable to really stare at bright screens for long periods of time. It sucked, but things are mostly back to normal, so yay!

Also, a freelance project concerning a custom made Deck o'Cards that I'd worked on back in August-November came out on the 28th:

I designed everything for the cards, including the box~ Quite happy about these <3 And they sold out in 2 days~

In other news regarding art, I'm still working on my "Fantasy Creature" coloring book for Denver Comic Con~ I'm beginning to kick it into high gear as far as wares for that go, so like in my previous journal, if you've ordered a commission from me/are wanting to do so, I am still open for them and they are getting done, but it is slower goings than usual.

That's the mantra I'm going to be employing for a little bit here.

My health has been up and down, mostly due to general exhaustion and major anxiety with life-things.
So, to make things easier on myself, I'm going to be still doing commission work but I'm going to be slower in those regards. They'll be getting done, trust me. But I'm going to be calming down with my workload.

This is mostly due to the fact that I need to get a lot of work done for Comic Con, to ensure that I make back on my investment!

For those who have ordered comms from me already, they're getting done, and I thank you lovelies for your patience with me ;__; <3
If you fall into a category of one that may want a commission in the future, I'm still open for them~ I just need to warn that they will be slow going.

Hey people of the world!
Wanted to give a quick word wishing you all a Happy Holidays, no matter what anyone celebrates C=

Quick update about me:
For the past few weeks, I wasn't feeling well: I was highly anemic, so fatigue, headaches, pains, dizziness, the whole shebang. Went to the hospital and got everything sorted out with a blood transfusion, so things are much better, yay!

In any case, due to all of that and recovery and holiday stuff, I'm going on a short hiatus for commission work (unless you've already ordered something) and will be back to work on the 10th of January!

Quicky updates and such: About to see my friend  tennashoe off to the airport, so that she can make her plane to make it to the UK and stay with her mayun for the next 6 months~

I shall miss mah house guest and friend (got accustomed to another presence in my living space) but I'm super glad things all things have worked out with visa stuff!

As for Commissions, For the first time in a while, my Queue is low at the time being, so right now is actually the perfect time to try and commission me, if you'd wanted to do so~ I'm perpetually open for commissions, but yep!

Hey people of the world!

As of yesterday, I've completed and handed in my freelance work that's been eating my freetime/life for the last couple weeks. I'll find out monday if any more work/editing needs to be done with it, Buuuut until then, I'm free

What's important here is that I'm now able to work on commissions freely and quickly again! (Yay~) so for those who have been waiting ever so patiently, I will now be able to get back to work on your images!
Today though, I'm taking a small break from art obligations for the weekend, and will be back to work on Monday~

Haaah, I wanted to put a heads up that commissions are still open (and as far as I'm concerned, will be forever open) and one's that are paid for are in progress, but slower going!

I have a little less than a month to finish this freelance project that cannot be late what-so ever, so most of my time will be going into that, as well as my Scoundrels comic!

I will be working on commissions in-between, but again, it may be a couple days if you order one before I am able to start on it ;;

In other news, cleaning up the house a bit before Sunday, so mah friend  tennashoe has a clean place to rest while she gets some visa stuff worked on while she's in denver~

Life n' stuff! Hectic but not bad~ I hope everyone is doing alright, and takes care of themselves!

Hullo all~

Just wanted to say "Hi" and ask how everyone was C=

Things are getting busy on my side, but its a good kind of busy, if you know what I mean?
Freelance work is picking up, as is commission work which makes me extraordinarily happy~ I've also been helping the family out a lot recently with vending at festivals and the like, so a lot of my time has been taken up with that as well.

I'm trying to also work on personal pieces in-between commission work, including the Pallet Challenge thing. I just need to find some time to squeeze it in XD

I know I don't do many Journals, or talk much, but I wanted to say hey! And ask wassup and stuff~
Even though I'm fairly new on here, most people that I've met or seen on here seem pretty chill, so yes! Greetings!

So, a fun thing me and my friend  tennashoe and I are doing, every friday, to basically unwind from commission & freelance work, is a thing called Fursona Fridays! We're using that generator thing that popped up a while ago, and drawing what the prompt says, because it's hilarious and fabulous at the same time.

This week, the prompt was: "tiny pink penguin. it dresses like a greaser. it wears a surgical mask."

As for the other thing we're doing for ourselves inbetween comissions and such, Tenna and I are doing what I call a "Pallet Challenge":
We take a color pallet (+ white) and create any artwork for ourselves with it, once a month. The only stipulation is that you can clearly see what color pallet was used
