Hello everyone! Just wanted to do a quick update in honor of this 4th of July, a date we all know is special for one particular reason... It's my birthday of course! Besides getting older I am happy to be able to say that I've managed to draw a special piece to highlight the occasion, don't remember when I've last been able to do that, must be years at this point since I'm usually too busy to draw during the summers. However thanks to a badly sprained ankle I've had time to sit and draw this year, always gotta look on the bright side of life, you know?

Anyway, I'll be uploading that later today as long as I actually remember to do it, so look forward to that! Would say that's all I have today, hopefully it's not the only summer time drawing I manage to do but I wouldn't expect much until these chaotic summer times end. Hope you're all doing good regardless, until next time! :D

UPDATE 2: I've decided to officially cancel commissions, I'm simply about to get too busy so I won't have the extra time needed. However I have occasionally taken on one or two either way if the timing and mood is right so feel free to ask me if you think of something later on, just know that whenever I'm not officially open I do expect more patience if I do say yes!

UPDATE: So far I've only manage to secure one commission that's currently ongoing, however new circumstances makes it so that I'll be busier again next week, instead of outright canceling the remaining spots I've decided to simply decrease the amount to 3 more for anyone interested, for now at least.

Hello everyone! I've basically uploaded everything I've had to upload as of last week and I find myself in the peculiar situation where I want to draw but have no idea what so I figured I should put this motivation at the disposal of anyone who'd like to commission me. It's as easy as sending me a message here or you can add me on Discord and we can discuss it there (same username there as here). Apart from that I suppose some FAQ or ground rules might be good to go over since I don't really do this too often these days. Anyway, without further ado...

- My prices are in my bio, however it basically depends on the amount of detail and usually lands on 20-25 euros. One thing I should say regarding this is that this time I won't accept any big comic commissions or animations, trying to keep the workload manageable.
- The way I do things is that we discuss the idea and I take payment only after you've seen and approved of a sketch, that way it's less pressure on me and we can both make sure I get and am capable of making it before we finalizing the deal, so to speak.
- Please send ref pics for characters as I'm not familiar with every IP and OC out there so it'll help if I don't have to go scour the internet for the character you want, especially if they have multiple looks. Also might help if you're looking for a specific pose or perspective if you have some reference.
- I do a wide variety of things, some things maybe not so often but just want you to know I'm open to a lot of different themes and motives, feel free to ask if you're curious if I'd do this or that, worst thing that might happen is that I say no. As long as it's all 18+ it usually goes.

I suppose that's it, should go without saying but I do reserve the right to say no for whatever reason and if that happens please respect the decision. I'd also ask you to be patient, once I do get to drawing I'd like to say I work fast but if there's a line it might take awhile. Of course you can always ask for updates, just again, be respectful about it. I have no idea what sort of traffic there will be but in case I do fill up all 5 slots I do intend to have them all finished during June.

To start off I want to point out that this journal update will mostly be relevant on DeviantArt but there is a good amount of overlap between that and my Furaffinity following (I think) so I'm posting it all on both.

First off, I've officially reached 7000 watchers on DeviantArt about a week ago, which is nice, quite the milestone, really, thanks to everyone who watches me on DA (and FA), really makes the drawing feel more fun! I've been doing this for 11 years now, gotten older, made friends, seen people come and go, does make me nostalgic about thinking back to when I was a puny beginner that counted each watcher. One thing has remained the same though, people have always been very supportive, looking back I'm surprised I didn't get more trolls and haters because my early art was rough to say the least. Glad to everyone who stuck around, I remember most of those who I've interacted with, especially from those early days, so if you're still lurking around, thank you!

Now then, I've been thinking about doing a subscription tier on DA, maybe for a buck or two for more raunchy stuff, some stuff that I've otherwise only been able to post on FA but also stuff that might not be so fitting there. As I've understood it the subscription tier posts are more lenient regarding nudity and smut so I wanna at least give it a go. However I don't really like the idea of having a paywall to my art so if you're not too keen on that there will always be another outlet, like Furaffinity, I post most if not all my stuff on my Twitter/X page and if you really want to get it all I do post everything in my Discord server, more on that later. The way I'll treat the subscription tier on DA is like, well it's gonna be like Netflix for those who don't wanna bother with the hassle of bootleg streaming sites, if that makes sense? Just a easier way to access such a collection for a small premium. I haven't really done anything to prepare for it yet so I'll make another post to update you if these plans come to fruition, really just wanted to get it out there in case people have any thoughts about it, like "sounds good!" or "absolutely not!".

Regarding Discord, I don't have a terribly active server, I can count the amount of active members on one hand and honestly I don't really mind that dynamic. However I do post everything there including sketches and share some general thoughts, so in case there are any new (or old) watchers out there who are interested in getting a better look at everything and want better access to yours truly I did want to put out a limited time invite. The link will expire in 1 day, doing that so there's not unfettered access because there has been troll infections in the past. Hello everyone!

I haven't posted in awhile (again) but I figured I should post something more before the end of the year, did also get the itch to draw so now I have. If you're reading this you're probably well aware of that, but worry not that's not it from me this year as I have a bit more ready and on the way so hopefully you'll see a couple of more uploads from me in the coming week or so. Anyway, with that out of the way I just wanted to give a quick holiday update before we enter 2025 and generally wish you all a merry Christmas, happy holidays and a happy new year! :D

One thing I'm proud to say is that I've officially drawn more this year than the last, finally managed to get out of the rut of producing fewer and fewer drawings with each year. Gonna end up being only by like 3-4 more than last but a win is a win. Otherwise I've been doing relatively well, been more or less sick all year but nothing too serious, some work life turmoil but generally I'm feeling optimistic. Not sure what the future is going to bring but here's hoping I manage to match or beat my productivity next year.

Other than that I just hope you've all been well too, hope you haven't missed me too much (while not forgetting me completely either). As far as art goes I have enough sketches cooking to keep me going until the end of the year but let me know if there's anything in particular you want to see me do more of in the future, maybe a character, scenario, different kinds of kinks, perhaps type of art, comics, animation. Anything you'd want to see from me really, I'm not sure what I'll do with commissions for now so you'll have to keep an eye out for that and see what happens.

So with my first upload of the year yesterday I suppose I'm officially back, and I can guarantee there's more coming soon so it's not gonna be a "I'm back" and then not upload anything again for a few months type of deal. I'm surprised to see DeviantArt having updated their upload system, not sure if it's only the layout or if there's anything substantial to it, not sure I'm a fan but it's not too bad either. Furaffinity remains the same, though I feel like I'd be ignoring the elephant in the room if I didn't mention the owner of the site passing, RIP Dragoneer.

Moving on, seeing as I'm back I'd love to hear from you guys again, be it just a shoutout or if you have any suggestions to what you'd like to see more of in general. I've been drawing a lot of foot stuff but I do aim to draw more varied stuff as time goes on but I suppose foot stuff will always be my main thing. I'm doing this both for me and you, because I like drawing and because you guys keep up with my stuff, so don't be afraid to mention anything you'd like to see or if you wanna talk art stuff in general. I'm always going to be open to just chatting in general.

If you want more direct control of what I make, you might be in luck because I've decided to accept 1 more commission rounding it out to 5 spots, 4 being taken already. Mostly because the last commission I accepted is more in a "maybe" stage and I kinda need at least 4. So hit me up if you're interested in nabbing the last spot!

To that matter, I'm now closed for commissions again, we'll see if and when I'll be open again.

Hello everyone! As you may not know, I've actually been drawing lately, not too much but I have a couple of drawings good to go but I'm planning on "stocking up" before I make a proper return to uploading. Anyways, I figured that since I'm on such a roll I would check the waters to see if anyone has been dying to commission me, in that case if that's you and you're reading this send me a message either here or Discord. I know it's a bit cheeky to ask if anyone wants to commission me when I've been as inactive as I've been, but I suppose at the latest people will notice I'm still here once I start uploading. I'm going to accept about 4 commissions at this point and see where things go from there, have no idea how quick those spots will fill up if at all, just know there's a finite amount of spots this time until further notice.

Hello everyone! Fret not, those of you who are still around to wonder when I'm going to show any signs of life, I am indeed still around, that's the good news. The bad news is that I've unfortunately not finished any new drawings since last you heard from me. It brings me great shame that my last upload is last year's Xmas special, something I do aim to rectify sooner or later. I might give up on doing holiday specials unless I have a good idea because every year it's depressing to look at the amount of pics decreasing between the holiday specials. Suppose only time will tell, not making any such decisions right now, right now I mainly just want to give ya'll a status update.

First and most importantly, I had my birthday last Thursday on the 4th of July, I didn't expect many people to remember but I heard that a certain country in North America celebrated the event so that's nice. What else, well I've working lately, which is more surprising than it sounds because I've had some long term fever that I don't know exactly what it's about despite multiple visits to the doctor. Really had me knocked out earlier this year which really hindered my plans to draw much more than I did last year. Then I recently, like 2 months ago, got healthy enough to go to work, so that's what I've been doing now. Unfortunately since I'm still dragging the fever with me I'm not left with much time and energy to draw on the side despite how much my fingers itch.

I would've written this up and posted last Thursday but honestly I just forgot to do it with various birthday happenings happening. However I did manage to draw a tiny bit today which reminded me to let you know that I'm still around, I do plan to keep uploading when I have something to upload, and that I'm otherwise well. Hope you guys are doing good and not missing me too much! :D

Hello everyone! Hope you haven't missed me too much, though I do appreciate it if you've missed me a little bit. I know I've been inactive for quite some time at this point and I just wanted to give some updates on what's going in for ol' Toby, for one thing I had my birthday a week ago so I managed to survive another year! I also graduated from my school so I had plenty to celebrate, and it was glorious. Anyway, you're probably wondering why I haven't been drawing, and the simple answer is life gets busy as you get older. However it's not just that, my old mouse (yes, I use a mouse to draw for those that don't know) was messing with me which made drawing a downright chore. However I've finally gotten around to getting a new one, so now at least I'm not being held back by my tools.

That's not to say I'm ready to say that I'm officially back in business, life is still quite busy but I'm dipping my toes into the waters that is drawing again so hopefully you'll see more stuff soon! I'll see how I manage to balance drawing with life before I go making any big promises, however I did want to let you guys know that I'm still around and plan to do more in the near future! It's been awhile now so I would also like to encourage you to comment with suggestions, be it just characters, motives or whatnot. I have some ideas of my own that I've been aching to do but it would also be nice to hear from you and what you want to see if I do manage to start drawing more regularly again, fingers crossed!

I've decided after all these years to retire from drawing fetish content... And with the April Fool's joke out of the way (hehe) I just wanted to say that I'm not currently gonna accept anymore commissions. I've got a few cooking and I will finish those but after that I wanna focus on doing some personal projects. You may have noticed that I haven't been posting as much (yet again, grrr), and you might have guessed correctly that life got busy again. However I'll post more stuff sooner or later (hopefully sooner). Suppose that would be it for now, hope you guys have had a good year so far!

I do want to encourage you to let me know if there's anything you want to see more of, like characters, themes and whatnot. I'm always open for suggestions that I may incorporate in future work!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to pop in and wish you all a Happy New Year! May 2023 be kind to us all, feels like the world as a whole could use a good year right now. Either way, I also wanted to reflect a bit on the year that has been, and what's coming in the future. Generally, I know I haven't been too productive as far as drawing goes in 2022, why? Well a bit of this and that, life really, but I finally got into kind of a groove around Halloween. I think I've drawn more since Halloween than I did during the entirety of 2021 so that at least is a good personal trend upwards. Here's hoping I manage to outdo myself in 2023! Outside of that I also introduced two new OC's, my mean bunny Isabella and my gentle Fennec Maria, quite happy with both of them and I'm sure I'll use them plenty in the future along with all my OC's.

I do feel optimism for the future, I have a few ideas cooking that I hope to do very soon. Some that's been a long time coming too. Aside from that I'll continue to take commissions going into 2023, so if you have any ideas don't hesitate to reach out, preferably via notes as it's easier for me to keep track of that way! I mentioned a price increase recently but I think I'll hold off on that until further notice, maybe for February but who knows, I'm in no rush really.

First off, merry Xmas and soon happy new year! 2022 is almost over, already, wow! This year flew by, feels pretty weird. Though I hope you all have been having a good year so far and that you have a strong finish.

I also wanna say I'm taking a short break from at least commissions until 2023, I might draw but won't worry too much about it. Have a lot of family stuff and partying to do so not sure how much time there will be. Either way, I do have an Xmas special coming tomorrow so there's at least that for 2022 still.

Suppose I'm wishing this mainly on myself today, December 6th, but who knows, maybe I have a few Finns around watching me? Either way, being the proper Finn that I am, I couldn't let this day go by without some sort of recognition, so here we are! Feel pretty good about my country, can't say there's anywhere I'd rather live. At least as long as Russia don't invade us anytime soon, then maybe the standard of living might drop a bit.

So since Halloween I've drawn quite a lot, so I think it's pretty safe to assume I'll keep going now for awhile so I've decided to open up shop for commissions again for those interested. I'll still be a bit restrictive though to make sure I don't burn out, what form that'll take exactly I'm not sure about. Regardless, don't hesitate to send a message (I prefer notes as it's easier for me to keep track of that way) and tell me about your idea and we'll see if we can work something out!

Hello everyone! I wish I could say I'm back, that's what I wanna say but I know myself good enough to know that I haven't been good at being consistently active these last few years. Regardless, I am currently more or less motivated to keep drawing and I aim to draw as long as that's the case, hopefully it'll last at least to the new year so I can get around to making an Xmas special.

As to what I've been up to since last, well during the summer I got really busy with work, so not much drawing then.. Then I got pretty sick for a long time, and after I recovered I just haven't been very motivated to do much of anything. That's about it, and I've been taking baby steps to do more life stuff and now I hope I'll be able to get back into drawing as well.

With that in mind I want to address the state of commissions, I've decided to hold off for now both to make sure I don't immediately don't get burnt out again and focus on my own stuff and try experimenting a bit with my style. There may be a few exceptions to this that I have in mind but as a rule I'm not open for commissions. Right now I want to give all my drawing attention on passion projects, which includes some fan art and doing more for my own OC's.

Hello everyone! As you may have noticed I've gone less active once again, I got something done but then I started my summer job and weekends have been full of different celebrations so here we are. I would've liked to draw something for today as it is my birthday today, the 4th of July, which I believe I share with a certain country but anyway. Always try to do something to mark the occasion but I suspect this isn't the only year I just haven't been able to churn something out. Either way, a journal will have to do, hope I'll get some drawing done when I have any free time, unless I have to take care of some other urgent business.

Hope you haven't missed me too much, but as you may have noticed I am indeed alive and back to business. Feels good to draw and upload again! Been away from all of this for a long time, mostly because of school as I was quite busy doing my thesis for school but that's about done at this point. I don't got all day to draw but I have considerably more time now than I've had these last few months. Can't say I'll be posting consistently but you can probably expect something every week!

At least until summer when I start working a summer job anyway. Then I might not have as much time anymore.

For those wondering I am accepting commissions, but I won't be accepting more than 5 at a time, at the moment of writing this 4/5 slots are taken. You can find my pricing in my profile info but it usually depends heavily on the amount of detail we're talking about but I wouldn't consider myself overly pricey in any case. I draw a lot of things and if you're unsure if it's something I'd do then just go ahead and ask, doesn't hurt. However I do reserve the right to say no and I would appreciate if you respected that, should that be the case!

Hello all! Yes I'm still alive, boy have I been busy in recent times, mainly with school and projects through school. Most of my most stressful inducing stuff did end this week though so hopefully I'll have more time to return to drawing again, I have some commissions still on hold and I hope to get back to them as I try to get back into it. If you're interested in commissioning me anytime soon I am open but you should be aware that it may take some time, so I hope you're understanding if you do decide to reach out to me for that purpose. Overall, I've been doing well, hope you haven't missed me too much during my absence, and hopefully I can say I'm back for now! :)

I think many would say this has been a lousy year, me? I like to stay positive, been doing good in school and did some good internships, however on the art front I don't think it's been the best. Might just be my most unproductive year so far, not really happy about that trend. I mean I haven't even been able to make a holiday special this year for Xmas (yet at least) and it's not really a thing I wanted to miss. However I did want to at least make a journal update for the time, commissions are in the works so more art is coming sooner or later, so stay tuned! :)

So I've decided to open up again for commissions, however I've also decided to raise prices which I've thought about doing forever but today's the day. I know that fewer people will be inclined to get commissions from me by doing that but I hope that means that I'll be able to give those who do commission me more attention. Maybe overall be more selective. So I don't blame you if you no longer can commission me, but if you do and have such desires I hope I can give you more time with a price raise. Perhaps this isn't rocket science and more obvious than I think but hope these news aren't too crushing. Regardless, it also means I don't aim to quit drawing smut anytime soon. Though I'm not only opening up for commissions only because I might need the pocket money, I may also desire some inspiration as I've been having a hard time thinking of new fun things to do lately, which you might be able to help with? :)

Anyway, without further delay, here's the new prices:
- Base commission depending on amount of characters and detail; 15.00-30.00€
- Additional characters past 2; +5.00-15.00€
- Background, depending on detail; 5.00-20.00€
- Short GIF animation, depending on detail; 20.00-35.00€
- Comic page, depending on amount of panels; 20.00-40.00€

Basically I'm raising the minimum price by 5 euros while the roof is a bit higher, it's all depending on detail. Pricing can definitely be discussed and we can probably work something out but I will remain firm on the minimum. I will aim to keep you happy and like always I will show you a sketch that you need to approve of before sending any payment. Feels fair and is less pressure on me as well in case I notice that I won't be able to do it. Then after that if you wanna see steps let me know, otherwise I'll finish the pic based on the approved sketch. Also make sure to send as many details as possible to make sure I meet your expectations while also including ref pics for characters and if you want any particular poses.

Aside from that, I'll likely continue to make drawings when I can. Gotta think of a Halloween pic soon too. Otherwise get in touch via notes if you have an idea for a commission, if you're curious about those highly sought after free requests I can't say much right now, maybe for Xmas? :3

More news on that later, now I also wanted to say that I've made a twitter account for myself. Like you might guess I'm TobyMcDee there as well and I'll post a link further down if you'll be interested in following me. It's not gonna focus on nsfw art necessarily, more about sharing thoughts on whatever I have on my mind and share some art that I don't feel merit posting on DA or FA. Like sketches or practice pieces. Maybe I'll do more nsfw art there as well depending on how things go. Reckon it's kind of a stepping stone towards me creating a pixiv account some time down the road. With the last commission of the last batch done I've decided to open up shop again. I think I mentioned sometime earlier that I was thinking about raising the prices "next time" which I'm once again postponing as I haven't really decided on what sort of a raise I'm gonna go with yet. I also realize that with these troubling times it's not really the right time to be raising prices as I reckon I'm not the only one who has to watch their finances. With that said though I will say that I'd very much like to keep commissions simple for now, both to not burn myself out and to be able to make a fair amount of drawings despite also having other work to do. That means I'd rather not see a bunch of people asking for comics and GIF animations at this time, maybe in the future but for now I wanna focus on getting a better roll with new pictures. Other than that point don't be afraid to ask for just about anything, I'm not shy and the worst that can happen is that I say no! :)

So yes, I've decided to open up for commissions again! However with the small disclaimer that I'm gonna do an Xmas special before I get to work on said commissions. Shouldn't take too long though since as of next Tuesday I'll have a 3 week long Xmas break with plenty of time to draw, the special will hopefully be done by that though. I'm also thinking about raising my prices some time after new years, but for now they'll remain the same so don't sweat it if you're ready to hit me up in the near future! Still got to work out exactly how much I'll be raising them so there's time.

It's not quite the 4th of July yet (tomorrow!) but I wanted to make this journal entry now anyway, hope you won't judge me too harshly on that! Anyway, tomorrow is my birthday, which is nice, so anyone who wanna say congrats do so! I doubt I'll be able to make any art to celebrate it but we'll see if anything pops up. Of course it's also the US independence day so hope those of you who celebrate that also have a good time, but we really knows what's the more important event, right? Jokes aside, I'm turning 26, funny thing, it's been making me feel old up until the moment I wrote up the number in this journal. Wonder when I'll be old to be drawing smut? Maybe I should start drawing more serious smut? I dunno, I got no plans to stop anytime soon so you won't have to miss me just yet.

On a completely different note, I'm sure some of you have noticed that my art has slowed down again, this time it wasn't art block it's mostly just been work that's kept me busy. Don't have much energy left when I come home so I mainly just relax during my hours of free time before getting some well earned sleep. I do plan on drawing more but I'm also planning on closing shop on commissions soon so if you got an idea you desperately need me to do send me a note, though should mention it can take awhile due to the previously mentioned work. I also know that some are waiting to see their requests and no worries, that's also happening.
